The remodeled rooms are great. The location is literally steps from the Parkway. The beds are extremely comfortable.

The view from the balconies is pretty gross. I know there's nothing that can be done about looking directly at the wall of the convention center but the property you look at should be clean at the very least. This may be something that needs discussed with the Gatlinburg Convention Center because the mess is on their side, however its clearly coming from your guests. The amount of cigarette butts and trash was astounding for such a wonderful hotel.

Staff made sure to accommodate us when the parking lot was full. The location is ideal for being able to walk to everything on the strip. The water pressure and hot water was piped down straight from the gods. We haven't stopped talking about how awesome our showers were.

It's a bit hard to navigate once inside and it's got it's wear and tear. The parking lot fills up, so you're kind of stuck once you park if you don't want to deal with the hassle of going inside to talk to someone to have them help. However, they will accommodate you and set you up at a lot across the street for the night until something opens up at the hotel lot.

the location is everything here at this hotel. that is the main reason why we keep booking this hotel every year when we stay in Gatlinburg. the hotel itself is nice and I’ve never had a problem there. they have been renovating it and this year we stayed in one of the renovations and I loved the updates they did but the key seller of staying here is definitely the location! it’s the perfect spot in the strip to go either way and close to everything. will deff be staying here again and again. also on a positive I have never had a bad experience with the staff there they always so helpful and friendly from the ladies working the front to the ladies working for cleaning the rooms everyone so nice.

it is just a tad bit run down but nothing major or awful and like I said before they are undergoing renovations so it is getting a facelift all over and looking very nice

The location is amazing, right in the middle of Gatlinburg on the strip. Walk to shops, restaurants, Ober chairlift, etc. The price was amazing. It's pretty much a no-frills hotel but it was clean and comfortable. The elevator broke the first morning we were there and knowing my husband was disabled the hotel offered to move us to the ground floor if they did not get it fixed that afternoon. It got fixed so we didn't need to move but I thought that was very nice. Being right there on the strip and within walking distance of everything saved us a lot of money in parking fees. I would go back to this hotel next time we are in Gatlinburg.

Hallways are a bit dark - grey walls and grey carpet but the rooms themselves were bright and well lit.

Everything was close by and perfect. The aquarium was closer then we thought it was. Everything was a great walking distance. Room was very clean when we got there. We were provided with clean towels every night. The room was big. The beds were really comfy. And the bathroom was really spacious.

The room service people cleaned up the rooms a little to early(6am). We were on vacation and we were not prepared to get up at that time to have the room cleaned. We put the do not disturb sign up but the female maid seemed irritable the days we did that. The guy maid was chill. The woman seemed disrespectful. Other than that we really enjoyed out stay.

The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was nice, it was deeper than most places we've stayed. Card key was required to enter the building, so we felt safe staying there. The location was perfect as we like to walk the strip and people watch.

The elevator is old and REALLY slow. They were painting the stairwell closest to the entrance, so it was closed off during our stay (4 nights). I would think they would do this type of work during slower months. Breakfast is not offered, but there is a Shoney's next door that gives 10% off a meal if you show your room key. I would recommend bringing pillows if you like a form pillow.

Loved location and the staff. The highlight was the bear, not his fault people being stupid and feeding him. Ability to park when there was room. The room was very clean the beds were comfortable. Swimming pool area was decent. For as busy as it was it was quiet.

The balcony was filthy and faced a half stone wall. I thought I was getting a view of nature not side of building. Little run down it could be really beautiful. Parking wasn't enough for everyone. The hallways were dark and dingy. The elevator was hot and slow. Recommendation for the wall would be make it a water fall for rooms facing it I was in 113. That would be cool.

When we arrived my wife said " This place looks scary. The so called lobby is one tiny room with a desk. I knew they were doing some renovation so I waited until we got to room 315 to see. On the way to the room we noticed that they're trying to modernize the hotel.by putting a decorative tile strip on the wall. Room 315 was very nice especially for the price. It was clean and the beds were comfy. The balcony looked straight at a wall . The best part is it's location being right on the parkway. I will definitely stay here again

It was right next to the convention center, which was perfect! We were in town for a cheer competition at the convention center; so our stay was very short, 2 days. I would definitely recommend it for those that don’t plan on driving while in Gatlinburg, it’s right down smack in the middle of everything. It’s in walking distance of LITERALLY everything you can think of. The rooms were freshly renovated and they are spacious! Very clean and well kept. The older desk clerk was a doll! She was so sweet and made sure everything was taken care of. The younger one was a little short, not very friendly, and she didn’t input my room call, when I called the front desk for it, she sounded bothered by me asking.

It still has some of the out dated things here and there but it’s not bad at all. I’m sure they’ll get to everything eventually. The elevator is a little skeptical but I think it’s more of the look than the functionality.

The hotel it’s self is pretty standard though they are renovating it and I have stayed in now 2 of the renovated rooms and I liked the update was more of a fresh new kinda feel to them. The main seller of this hotel is it’s perfect location it is dead center of the strip lots to do on either side of it all walking distance. I have never had a problem in the 5 times I have now stayed here. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

I wouldn’t say there is like anything I don’t like in the sense of like it’s horrible I just can’t wait for it to be all renovated and finished to see how it will look when done
