The night desk staff were very kind and helpful upon check-in. The Hilton Garden Inn was exceptionally clean, and lobby was very attractive.

I have two suggestions pertaining to the bathroom: one is please provide larger sized tub mats or else apply non-slip strips that fit the entire bottom of the tub. This will prevent any slippage upon entering the tub to use the shower. Two is please move your bathtub support bar to the back end of the tub where one would normally enter to take a shower. There is too small a space between the toilet and the tub to currently utilize the support bar on that end.

When I arrived late at night, the check-in went smoothly with Jim, the night manager, who was welcoming and efficient. A minor miscommunication about breakfast was quickly, courteously, and professionally resolved by the on-duty day manager, Marilyn Torres. She provided service with a smile and was truly dedicated to making the stay a pleasant experience for her guests. The dining hostess, Elvira, was also very attentive and ensured the breakfast service ran smoothly. Last, but not least, Luis, the skilled cook, prepared an absolutely fantastic omelet, which was a highlight of my mornings. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities met my expectations. Overall, the attentive staff and quality service made my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Austin a positive experience.

I requested a firm bed, but mine was a bit saggy. I checked with the on duty manager, Jim, who informed me that all the beds are the same.

For an older motel, it has been kept up excellently. It was very clean and well managed. The beds were quite comfortable. The grounds and landscaping was immaculate. Everything that was advertised about this place was as stated.

The restaurant and bar is only open from Monday through Thursday, which is odd for a destination such as Austin and a hotel chain such as Hilton. The breakfast was average, and would have been overpriced if not included with the room I chose.

the staff was very helpful and very friendly-we booked the same week as SXSW and didn’t realize and would have been extremely frustrated if we hadn’t been told at check in. we made decisions based on that knowledge, so we really appreciated that. the location was also in close proximity to everything we wanted to do (being from Houston, if something is less than 30 minutes away, we’re thrilled, and it took us 20 minutes to get to the capital, with traffic).

for the price of the rooms, I feel like breakfast should be included. the meals were really overpriced to me. this was honestly a minor inconvenience though, I was aware that there wasn’t a free breakfast so I wasn’t surprised.

Not many healthy breakfast options (hot meals). Kitchen hours didn't work for most of the trip. Dinner options were greasy or fried- hot healthy options would greatly improve experience

The bed and linens, bath towels were excellent. We had a great nights sleep. Decor was inviting and tasteful.

Our only Problem was that GPS takes us to an area 3 miles from the hotel and they know this. They should make a note in their info section to navigate to “pappadeaux” instead of their street address.

Great place to stay the night. All the amenities and love that it's behind my favorite restaurant, Pappedeaux's. They even take pets, I didn't see any, but there were dog treats at the front desk which made me ask.

My bad thinking breakfast was included.

Food was good and everything was comfortable

The lady that waited on us actually asked us if we wanted to leave a tip after she looked at the bill we returned. We didnt want that added to our card so we were going to leave cash but the fact she was insinuating we needed to leave one was kind of rude.

Location was great. Off the path but close to everything. Staff was friendly and accommodated us with everything we could need.

Mattress was a bit too firm.

It was very good.

Indoor pool was freezing - used once and was hoping to use daily for exercise. Seemingly unsupervised children in hall late at night.
