Location.. bedding was awesome, pillows were comfortable.

Security needed outside.. did not like the fact that while waiting for our valet or talking to the attendants, there were vagrants also standing at the attendants desk yelling obscenities to other people walking along the side walk.. the man was then later allowed inside and was bothering other patrons.

Nice hotel; standard facilities for a large US hotel. The large lounge area with free coffee/espresso/cappuccino is a nice touch. The room was spacious and clean.

On the lower levels there is some street noise, including a tram that likes to use a loud horn/warning signal when crossing the lights for some reason, but this is pretty standard for a downtown location. A more simple/affordable breakfast option would be great to complete the offerings.

Excellent location, easy check in and out. The staff were quite pleasant and resolved a minor issue in our room in minutes. Nice room, a bit small, but comfortable with everything we needed.

Only one thing. The attached restaurant, Table 7 had excellent food for all meals. Grayson who was there every other day was excellent, however; there were 2 servers on other days that were not. My wife and I arrived before several other people and were not served drinks, menus and food before all the others. In fact we were the last to leave where at least 12 others had arrived after we did. We were there 1.5 hours and only had a cocktail, wine and our dinner.

The lady at the check in counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. What impressed me most was that she remembered my name when I arrived to check in, which was a pleasant surprise. To my delight, I was upgraded to a room with added amenities, including a microwave and a mini-fridge. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore local attractions and restaurants. The hotel offers a fantastic range of amenities. The complimentary beverages in the lobby were a nice touch, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The laundrette on-site was incredibly convenient. The inhouse restaurant offered a variety of delicious options, but I must highlight the signature salmon dish which was absolutely divine. The freshness and flavor of the ingredients were evident in every bite, making it one of the best meals I've ever had. The ambiance of the hotel is inviting with a stylish lobby and there are plenty of cozy seating areas to relax or meet with friends.

there were a couple of downsides to my stay. The walls were quite thin, which made it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. Additionally, despite reminding staff several times, the shampoo and conditioner were not replenished during my stay, which was a bit disappointing.

My room was comfortable and I really liked the bed. This is subjective and I don't like very soft beds. This is the third time I've stayed at this chain and one of my favourite things is the communal space where there is comfortable seating in different configurations with a coffee machine and cold still and soda water. It's nice to be able to spend some time out of your room. There is also an onsite free laundry, that includes washing powder. I didn't eat at the on-site restaurant, but I did get a drink and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for an easy walk to Minute Maid Park.

Great location, close to Minute Maid Stadium.. very clean. The restaurant in the hotel Table 7 had great food.. delicious! Also, I loved how they had a coffee bar for free in the lobby. The lobby area was very inviting to sit and relax.

The arrival at the front of hotel. The valet guys just standing there couldn't help with opening the door for me as I'm struggling with 2 suitcases. The hotel front doors are not automatic.. you need to open and are heavy. A guy from inside saw me struggling and ran over to the door to open it for me. Maybe they feel they are just valet employees and dont need to help guests .

The location is perfect. The check-in was a bit hectic. A small group was checking in the same that I was and the staff was limited so they were directed to the self-in kiosk which resulted in even more help being needed. Overall they were pleasant. I stayed for two days but my room was only cleaned once. Aside from that I would stay here again. Good restaurants in walking distance and it's very accessible by public transportation.

Self-check-in kiosk...you only need very basic information to get a room key. This may become a security threat in the future.

The staff was wonderful and very patient! When I accidently locked my bathroom door from the outside (I really don't know how I did it), they tried solving the issue and when they couldn't resolve immediately, they changed my room without additional costs. The beds were VERY comfortable. The main hall has a coffee machine for everyone to use without additional cost. The hotel's Wi-fi has a good signal and speed.

Some parts of the furniture were dusty (mainly the regions that were not used as much). Other than that, the overall cleanness was well done.

Check in was electronic on arrival, but worked well. Lovely lobby area with free coffee machine (including cappuccino, which we didn't see very often on our road trip through Texas). Huge bonus was the free laundry service - six or seven washers and driers, with detergent provided - which was very welcome after a week on the road. Location good - downtown, and a short walk to some of the older buildings (courthouse etc) with some amazing street murals on the way. As we were there at the weekend and it is in the business district, some of the cafes were closed. However, Discovery Green in walking distance has free concerts at the weekend and a good cafe.

The room was the smallest we stayed in on our trip, but still a decent size by UK standards. Valet parking seems to be the norm in the larger cities and is expensive (although this was cheaper than Fort Worth and New Orleans).

The location was great, with access to so many things on foot and by Metro trolleys. We parked our car on arrival and didn't use it until we checked out. We had two really good meals in a restaurant off the appealing lobby, a dinner and a breakfast, with outstanding service each time. Our room was quiet and comfortable. A totally unexpected pleasure was finding etchings in the sidewalk around the entire block, in different styles, related to time. Examples are: Making Time, Time Out, About Time, and these went on seemingly endlessly. It was a type of permanent sidewalk art that was amusing and thought provoking.

The desk chair was quirky in that it would not hold its height setting and gradually go to its lowest point. I reported this to the front desk on checkout, but I should have asked for the chair to be replaced on arrival. Oh well.
