It was clean.

We arrived after dark. All the safe places in the front were reserved for "diamond members." We had to park off the side of the building with little light. Then we had to go back outside to put a parking pass in our car so it wouldn't be towed. Very scary. The next morning, in the daylight, we could see items in the woods, on the edge of the parking lot that looked like homeless people were living nearby. The staff shouldn't have expected an older woman to go out there by themself at night for a parking pass.

The bed was very comfortable; bathroom was very clean. We had the breakfast on Sunday and it was very good, in fact, better than comparable hotels we stayed. It was convenient for our visit with family. All in all, a great stay at a very good hotel.

The hotel had the usual wear and tear and housekeeping came earlier than our check-out time. But I would stay there again in the future.

Cleanliness and the smell of Clorox when I first walked in. Sheets and towels looked clean, bathroom clean, bed was comfortable, and amenities in room.

Housekeeping knocking to many times on last day when we asked for late check out. Not being able to watch Netflix on television.

The Guest service rep was awesome. She made us feel at ease while we were checking in and gave us all the information about Wi-Fi, breakfast, and amenities. The breakfast was great and had a variety of choices to choose from. I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Express the courtesy of the staff made my stay worthwhile!

The Business Center could use a printer to assist guest with their printing needs.

The staff was wonderful especially when I had to call at 3:30am because our flight was delayed overnight due to tropical storm Debbie!! We arrived just in time for breakfast then a nap before a meeting at 1 pm. Very close to airport. Very clean. Very comfortable bed!!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was tasty and had many options to choose from. We were not flying out of Richmond International but if we were, the hotel was very close to it and also to the park and ride lot. It was also very quiet which we appreciate.

The doorframe to the room was damaged causing space between door and doorframe that anyone could see through into the room. It was reported to the receptionist

Super close to the airport. Which made it super convenient. It was nice to not have to rush to get there and worry about traffic or anything. So it was great too that I was able to have some extra time with them without having to rush them immediately to the airport.

Outstanding staff and a good location are the highlights here. The rooms are comfortable, with plenty of space, good lighting, and strong HVAC. The breakfast was utilitarian, but the area was kept immaculate by the manager. A free shuttle is a quick and easy ride to RIC.

If you don’t have a car, your dining choices are limited. In my case, it was either of two gas stations.
