It was close to everything! All of our favorite stores and restaurants! The staff was wonderful and so accommodating! We felt safe and comfortable staying at Rodeway!

The rooms are a little dated but that is the only con I can think of!

The woman who greeted me at the front desk was incredibly kind and attentive. She acted almost like I was a guest in her home. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The place is a classic "motor lodge" from the '60. Instead of a screen door, the rooms have louvered exterior doors that were probably for ventilation during the summer.

None of these are deal-breakers, but: 1. All hotels and motels are overpriced. 2. The room furnishings - except the bed - are pretty old, though perfectly functional and clean. 3. Breakfast in less expensive hotels and motels is usually disappointing. This one included.

Extremely close to Colonial Williamsburg as we were able to walk and not worry about finding parking. The pool was very refreshing on hot days after sightseeing. The lady at the front desk (can’t remember her name) is AMAZING!!! She greeted us with the most wonderful welcome and smile. She was also extremely helpful showing us things to go see and how far away they were (literally a 10 minute walk)

It is an older motel but in fantastic shape. I moved the colonial feel! The air conditioning is t the best but not the worst. It was extremely hot while we were there and it tried the bar it could. Kept us cool if room was a bit damp feeling.

Room was clean and comfortable. Looks like they have done more upgrades since we were last there, so that is always a plus, especially for an older property. Always appreciate being able to park in front of my room, as we had spent a long day at Busch Gardens. HVAC unit was quiet and heated the room nicely.

Continental breakfast is really not much at all. Some mini muffins, toast, coffee, juice, and milk. If you are looking for something more extensive, there is an excellent pancake house next door, or a McDonald's a little further down the road.

For an older property, the room was large and up to date. Very clean! Great location as it was only a couple of miles from Busch Gardens (why we were there) and not far from restaurants, Colonial Williamsburg, shopping, etc. Beds were pretty comfortable. Shower had hot water, which is always a plus, especially for an older property.

They say they have continental breakfast, but when we went our first morning, there were only some mini muffins, coffee, juice, and milk. Not exactly what we were hoping for. However, there is a McDonald's just down the road if you want something quick and cheap, or go next door to an excellent pancake house.

The location is great, within walking distance of historic Williamsburg. The hotel is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. The price is really good. We always enjoy the pool. Christina at the front desk was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff worked hard and the hotel is gradually doing some updating.

The breakfast is a little better than it was last year. It would be nice to have more options. The pool towels were too small. Still, the hotel is such a great value.

The location was great! There was a lady staff member who was such a doll but the male staff member treated her terribly. Seems like there were a lot of rooms that were being used as "apartments" for locals. The breakfast continental breakfast consisted of cereal and toast but there is a pancake/breakfast restaurant next door that you can get 10% off if you have a room.

The long term guests who live there and the breakfast options!

The staff was really friendly and when you are inside your room they also give you a chain lock and they have an outside pool and none of the rooms are allowed to be smoked in and it was really good for the price and you felt pretty safe

Only 2 small complaints and there is almost no way to fix this the carpet felt a tiny bit sticky and the tile in the bathroom shower was a little discolored in the cresses but still good for the price

I liked that it was very close to Busch Gardens, 10 min drive.

I didn’t like the attitude of front desk staff, his shift started at 3pm on nov 10th, when I was checking in. He said as a joke that the room is $1000 something. Then proceed to ask me where is my husband?! Because i was alone with 2 kids. This made me so uncomfortable, I didn’t even sleep at night bc i was travelling alone. I’m not sure why he cares so much if i was single or where is my husband, when he was wearing a wedding band. Very unprofessional.

Breakfast was limited. Walkable location to Colonial Williamsburg was perfect. Pool was nice.

Decor dated but clean. We had trouble getting our room cleaned, but otherwise it was a great. We would definitely stay here again.
