Very centrally located in the Ancient Town, walking everywhere! The family room was well appointed, with a mezzanine floor for the extra beds and 2 bathrooms which was handy A good variety at breakfast Staff were amazing and very helpful Can loan bikes to get around if not walking

Even though free bikes were appreciated, most of them were in desperate need of repair The breakfast room was quite small, so we arrived one morning and there were no tables left Main bathroom was not very private

Right in the heart of the action in Hoi An. Outside the hotel at night the place is heaving. But the rooms are at the back of the hotel and surprisingly quite at night. Good breakfast and big rooms.

We arrived late at night (as expected). There appeared to be no one on reception. We discovered a guy asleep on one of the sofas. When we managed to wake him up we discovered he had a security guard uniform on (fortunately there doesn't appear to be a crime problem in Hoi An). He didn't speak English but produced a key card for our room..... Which didn't work. We then had to wait for someone to come and reprogram the key. Other than that we had a good stay and would stay there again. The 'security guard' also serves breakfast and is a lovely guy.

A charming, endearing hotel with lovely staff in a super-convenient location just over the bridge from the old town. The property is very traditional, an older building in a very Vietnamese style. Stay there if you want to experience Vietnamese culture, right down to the ca phe phin drip coffee and pho at breakfast (which is generous and lovely!). The rooms are simply appointed with modifications that tick the boxes on mod cons e.g. shower (functional, but not western-style accommodation). Cleaning staff does a fantastic job and they replenish water & towels generously. Front-desk team is helpful, resourceful and always friendly. Pool is lovely if small. Could not ask for more!

Hoi An itself has changed post-covid. Far too many tourists, streets overcrowded, a crazy volume of vendors and competing bars. Some very noisy bars adjoining this property though thankfully the insulation seems great. Ask for a room at the back. Note: a 3-bedroom apartment is really a large open-plan unit. Great for a family but you will not have individual privacy.

First of all, Mr. Minh the GM was very kind and helpful. They couldn’t have a better person as a representative, he was attentive, friendly, and a warm soul overall. Despite working overtime to help cover an employee’s shift (and presumably a bit tired) he still provided great service. The location is the main reason we picked this hotel, right along the river just across the bridge from Old Town. It’s about a 5 minute walk and a pleasant one at that. Also, we had rooms on the side of the hotel away from the river and away from the noise, quite peaceful despite the partying going on at the Mr. Bean bar just next door. The style and decor were beautiful. Old, wooden, classic. It has a certain charm to it. The hotel DOES have free bicycle rentals, which are recommended but not necessary. Again, everything is within reasonable walking distance. While the breakfast wasn’t stellar, the satay (meat skewers) were (in my opinion) quite delicious. Would just like to say ‘thank you’ one more time to everyone working there.

It isn’t wheel chair accessible, and if you have limited mobility be sure to ask for a room with a walk-in shower. I mention this because my room (we had two rooms) had a rainfall shower head but it was centered above the bathtub which has a high lip. There is a shower head that you can hold but you have to reach across the bathtub to use it. Also, the elevator to the upper floor isn’t wheel chair accessible, so request something on the ground floor if this is relevant to you. The coffee wasn’t great at breakfast either, just a heads up. That being said… it really doesn’t matter because I think one reason people come to Vietnam and to Hoi An is to explore the cafés and coffee culture anyhow. So, skip the coffee at breakfast and go to the old town for a cup of Joe.

We Loved the location: it is right in the center of the city, on the river, around all bars, shops, etc, but once you step inside - it is peaceful and quiet. We had a room looking on the inside street and it was great. Gentleman on the reception was helpful, had answers for all questions, assisted with additional towels and pillow. We liked big bathtub, comfortable bed and nice pillows. Breakfast was good with a reasonable variety, for the money we paid I think it was great!

Room can be a bit more clean. I found few hair from previous guests in the bathtub, edges of shelves around the sink could have been more clean. However for the price we paid and after climbing mountains and having boat rides - it was not a problem.

The reception 'Men' was the person to singlehandedly made my stay at Long Life Riverside Hotel more convenient and comfortable. He'll do everything he can to assist with your queries or issues while staying at the hotel. He makes sure all queries or arrangements will be settled in due time. What an enjoyable experience!

The rooms are getting a bit worn and old, and they need quite a bit of maintenance work. The rooms located behind the building are pretty noisy as there's a primary school located just behind the hotel.

The room size was very spacious. Generous spaces. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The whole place was very clean and surprisingly quiet given the location next to a noisy bar. It looks great and overall is very good value for money.

Breakfast started at 7:30 am. If you did not get to the breakfast area to eat within the first 15 minutes the buffet would run out of much of the food. They did not replenish/refill any dishes in the time we stayed there. So you go very early or go hungry. The quality of the food was not very good either, particularly the Vietnamese dishes. As for our room it was a great and generous space with a huge bathroom. No complaints there. However it's for 4 people and there's only one toilet in an open bathroom space separated from the main sleeping/living areas by a loose sliding door. This was quite difficult sometimes and we were 3 people.

The customer service was great, the breakfast buffet was amazing, everything was delicious. The room was spacious and in general the interior design was beautiful and its location was perfect, near to the river bridge, bars and shopping area.

The bath seems to have a leaking when try to use it as the floor got flooded. Also, in 2 occasions we saw 2 cockroaches, maybe the rooms should be sprayed a bit more often.

Great location in the Old Quarter of Hoi An, outside food, shopping, night market, bars, massage parlors, yet very quiet room I had. My room as very large, with sitting area, and king size bed. Buffet breakfast was great was great. The pool right in the middle of hotel so you can dip and walk straight back to room. They also have free bikes for guest. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Recommend stay.

My AC was not blasting and the temperature in summer is over 100F/40C, so my room never got super cold. Note the standing shower is smaller, sharing same room as the toilet with a curtain. But they have nice size bathtubs.

We love this hotel! Stepping out of the hotel is already the walking street so super convenient. If you come with the car then go the the back of the hotel. We arrive a bit early but the staff still let us check in. Welcome drinks was refreshing. Due to some personal reasons I wrote an message to the hotel to ask if they could switch our 2 beds room to 2 single rooms, they were helpful and gave us 2 separate rooms without extra charge. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. My son also enjoyed the swimming pool. Pity that we already made plan for the coming days, otherwise we would have stayed longer. Next time this is my only choice to stay in Hoi An, and definitely I will stay at least 2 nights.
