WOW! Amazing stay at the Amarin resort. Beautiful beach front property with fabulous pool. We had an ocean front room on the 7th floor and the views were spectacular! Staff go above and beyond to make your stay one to remember.  From greeting you with a smile at breakfast every morning to moving the sun umbrella throughout the day to keep the sun off you. Beautiful warm people who certainly make you feel special.

Some construction was being done on the exterior of the building each day from around 2pm to 5ish making it a bit noisy

The breakfast was absolutely amazing ! There was everything needed, everything was delicious! Fresh juice, coffee machine, etc.

The staff sometimes looked bored when I asked something. They didn't really help when I needed information about the things we could do (for exemple where I can do scuba diving). Their English skills were quite insufficient, I think. It was hard to communicate well. Also, in the pictures everythings looks bigger than the reality!! And the shampoo/shower gel tiny bottles were annoying to use.

This is the 2nd time that I have stayed in this hotel. It is excellent value for money, has a great breakfast and is right on the beach. The pool area is great, and the staff are always willing to make your say more memorable. It is close to the airport and the hotel offers free airport transfer. The hotel is at the southern end of the main tourist strip. There are always plenty of taxis out the front of the hotel and are very cheap. The taxi ride to the night market is no more than 10 minutes.

Leaving

The resort is really nice not too big. The deluxe double hill view room was big, nice, clean and confortable. The bed was also big and nice. The pillows were great. AC worked very well. You also had a bathrobe, sandals and a beach bag in the room to use. The breakfast was perfect, so many options for everyone, western options and also lots of asian options. The pool area was really nice with sunbeds and sun covers. The pool was big and clean. They also had private beachfrond sunbeds. There were some other restaurants nearby. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay in a comfortable, good sized bedroom with a fabulous view out over the ocean. Breakfast is amazing and the pool is great (and very well maintained). Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good location with alternative eating options handy and the free bus stop not far.

Definitely go for the ocean view rooms as the other side outlook is not great.

Everything was perfect, the beach and pool as well as the room and the hotel as such were always super clean, the weather was also great, we experienced no rain despite rainy forecast, breakfast had a wide selection of food, staff was very attentive, in the walking distance you have many restaurants and bars, there is a free bus going to the night market with a bus stop next by, the bus goes also to the north and runs every 10-15min, the hotel is close to the airport and offers a free transport, we were also in 5* resort in the north, and Amarin was much nicer with a better location, so I def recommend

The furniture was old, but still working and everything was super clean

Breakfast was amazing. One of the best in Vietnam. Highly recommend the fruits , fresh juices and the fresh noodle soup station. Room were large and amazing sunset ocean views.its old but all well maintained. We were able to check in 2 hours before check in time. Check in was quick. Great ocean front location

Doors to balcony can’t be locked. Shower water temperature hard to regulate. The front door couldn’t close properly when exiting. Bed felt a little old. Some strange powder on the floor. Didn’t they clean it?

Overwhelming! It was spectacular scenery and place to relax. I loved the variety of items in breakfast everyday is different and so delicious! I enjoyed the lovely pool , beautiful views, peaceful beach and room was big and comfortable with amazing sea view. Housekeeping deserves special praise for their meticulous attention to detail, ensuring my room was always spotless. After this wonderful experience I highly recommend this beautiful hotel ! This is a beautiful hotel. We were met by Mr Toi when we arrived, he had all our reservation details on hand, so check in was a breeze. Mr. Toi was very nice and very good at his job. The hotel is modern and clean. We stayed in a suit, with breath taking Seaview's, and to just sit on the balcony with a drink and watch the sunset over the sea, was just living the dream. Breakfast is excellent, with great choices. The pool and beach areas are nice and clean. This hotel is around half the price of the other 5-star hotels in the area. My wife and I are frequent travelers to Phu Quoc, and would rate this hotel as the best we have ever stayed in. A big thank you to Mr. Durong the bell captain. He is such a nice man, who obviously loves his job. He would always be so welcoming and take care of all you needs, he is a real asset to this hotel.

Had a great stay. Great value for money, in my opinion. Staff is very attentive and genuinely nice.

Some room for improvement in rooms: * add spare toilet paper roll in bathroom * our safe was locked and out of battery (not that we bothered to follow up with the staff)
