Staff were incredibly helpful. We actually got stuck in Sapa due to typhoon Yagi and the resulting landslides and flooding. They were so helpful with contacting bus companies and other operators to rearrange buses etc when we were finally given the okay to leave Sapa. Breakfast was plentiful, mix of hot and cold items and you can order eggs and pancakes from the menu free of charge. Location is just across the lake from the main area, only 5/10min walk but has lovely view of the hills. Can't recommend enough!

Rooms were on the small side but very clean. Showers sometimes ran out of hot water but were back to hot again within 5mins.

The room was really nice and clean, super well-located! Neighborhood is calm; perfect to rest after a busy day getting around Sapa. Breakfast was really wonderful (we considered ourselves as foodies; the quality went beyond our expectations. Perfect first meal of the day to go trekking. Please try their banana and pineapple pancakes. Their phô was divine too. We had all our breakfasts on the terrace with the sapa mountains as a background. Above all, the staff and the manager are truly kind and helpful. We were very happy to stay at Sapa Mountain Queen House and we most definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking somewhere to stay whilst travelling to Sapa. This is our first stop as travelling throughout Vietnam and we will keep fond memories here in Sapa.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly the manager Mr Kim. He arranged pick ups to and from Lao Cai train station and the hotel, stored our luggage after check out for the day while we went on a hike, and also offered us a free room to shower and change when we returned in the evening before our train back Hanoi. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!

It is a peaceful hotel close to the town centre but off to the a little, so away from the bustle. The customer service, in every interaction, was excellent. It is the main reason why this is my favourite stay yet in Vietnam. All staff went above and beyond in this respect. The day I checked out and had already boarded the bus to our next stay, I freaked out thinking I may have left my retainers in the bathroom, so I messaged front desk asking if they could please have a look if it was there. Mr. Kim promptly checked the room and replied it was not there, which took a big stress off my mind knowing I had packed them after all. Their room service and breakfast selection of food was also awesome, buffet style with additional included eggs, omelets and pancakes for order. A good place, great food, great service, and I highly recommend.

Nothing.

It was a cozy retreat conveniently located near the city center in the Mountain Queen Hotel in Sapa One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent communication with the hotel manager. From the moment of booking to our departure, the manager ensured that our needs were met promptly and efficiently, adding a personal touch to our experience. The beds at Mountain Queen Hotel were comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings of Sapa. While the overall experience was positive, it's worth noting that the bathroom was on the smaller side. However, it was clean and well-maintained, so it didn't significantly detract from our stay. The breakfast provided at the hotel was sufficient, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. One minor drawback of the hotel is that due to its proximity to a school, guests may occasionally hear children in the morning and during the day. However, this was not a major issue and did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the stay. In summary, Mountain Queen Hotel offers a cozy and comfortable retreat in the heart of Sapa. With its attentive management, comfortable beds and convenient location, it provides a solid base for exploring the beauty of the region.

I would suggest extending the variety of food at breakfast, especially the selection of fruits.

The location was close enough to the center and still be quiet. The room was just as pictured, nice and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with a bit of variation between days. The omelet and the pancakes from the a la carte section are not to be missed. Most of all, the staff were very nice, the manager Mr. Kim was very helpful, informative and efficient. Our booking for a one day tour by private car and Fansipan tickets went smoothly. Mr. Kim looks at things from the standpoint of the guests he serves, and therefore he does his best to accommodate the guest's (often unspoken) wishes. Ours was a room upgrade.

Mr Kim and staff were so accommodating, after arriving before 7am we were offered breakfast and Mr Kim worked his magic to ensure our rooms were available for us to check into. Great rooms, a lovely view and a fabulous location. Mr Kim could not have been more helpful with his suggestions on tours, plus organising tickets to Fansipan. Thank you for making our time in Sapa so memorable. The ability to shower at the end of the day before heading to the train station was appreciated by the entire family.

Not staying longer, 2 days just not enough time to enjoy Sapa life

We had a wonderful time at Sapa Mt Queen.. At check in we were greeted with warm towels and a lovely hot drink that was freely available all the time . The staff where amazing Mr Ken and Ann always there to assist & organise anything for you. The breakfast was amazing with freshly made omelette, pancakes, cold squeezed juices in little bottles, yoghurt as well as the usual buffet breakfast spread. Our bed was very comfortable & the air conditioner so quiet. We had a balcony so it was lovely to leave the door open & enjoy the clean air after Hanoi. The location was great but with a small incline but close to the main area

Loved every thing . The bathroom was a little poky but served our needs

The owner, Mr Kim takes outstanding care of his guests and the hotel. The hotel is very central and clean. Following a small shower issue we were promptly upgraded to a larger room with 2 queen beds. The beds were very comfortable, the air-conditioning worked well, the walk-in shower was very clean. The room included 2 bottles of water which were replaced daily, a kettle, coffee, tea and small packaged biscuits. Fansipan tickets can be bought at the reception, allowing guests to skip the long line of tourists waiting to buy tickets. Excellent value!

We had a great stay here! The staff was incredibly kind and surprised us with a free room upgrade, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall, a great experience, great location.

The breakfast area was quite cold, which made it less comfortable to enjoy the meal. While the hallways were also chilly, that didn’t matter much as we don’t spend time there. However, it would be great if the breakfast area could be heated more during colder days. The room temperature, on the other hand, is of course fully adjustable to suit your needs.
