Ok breakfast

Locked out of my room over 5 times including original check in. Staff ambivilant like at summer camp, really didn’t care about checking in or any process of their job. Helping up get in our handicap room! I was beyond exhausted from my cancer treatment they overcharged for the disability room but I was too exhausted to deal with them which was why we stayed there.

Spacious, well designed room. Clean. Excellent breakfast buffet choices. Dinner in the hotel restaurant (The Cannery) was excellent. Staff very nice. Good location for a stay near the airport and they offer an airport shuttle every half hour.

Two things. Water temp was inconsistent in the shower and much poured out of the faucet rather than the shower head. Airport shuttle pick up was at a different location than where we were dropped off and were told we could catch it. Missed one and arrived at airport later than anticipated but did not miss flight.

There had been a power bump 1/2hr or so before I arrived, which trapped passengers in the elevators and necessitated help from the Fire Department. It also left the electronic key machine down. Despite the problems, the front staff were cheerful, efficient, and managed to keep the check in process moving. The restaurant staff were cheerful and efficient and the food was excellent.

There was actually nothing to dislike. The problems seemed to be related to the ongoing renovation/upgrading, and, in the circumstances were minor. The staff's quiet competence, and friendly demeanour more than made up for the small issues.

Allowed to check in early. Everything spotlessly clean. Excellent well equipped spacious bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Wide choice of food in restaurant. Excellent shuttle service to and from airport.

Public area very pleasant but quite cool. Air conditioner in bedroom difficult to control. Couldn't turn off for a quieter night. Temperature of water in bath and shower only just hot enough.

Our rook was large with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. We used the airport transfer in both directions and were pleased with the service and it left the hotel in the morning at the time specified. The lounge also had a good area to sit outside in the afternoon sun.

The staff member on duty at checkout could have been friendlier but appeared distracted by some staff issue.

When I booked on booking.com I understood there was a complimentary breakfast but when I asked about it in the morning I was told no I didn't have a complementary breakfast. the heat pump in the room was not adjustable, the fan ran constantly and it was either hit or cold. I couldn't turn the fan off or adjust the heat and I couldn't get very many channels in the tv . I wanted the news on cnn, it was listed there but I couldn't get it and not a lot of choices on the movie channel's. it would be nice to have mire channels

Checking and out was flawless. The gentleman who checked us in texted us after 30 minutes to make sure we were comfortable and everything met our needs. The restaurant was awesome as always. The shuttle driver helped us with our very heavy luggage without us asking. This hotel never disappoints.

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

It was really a very good deal for the money. All of the staff polite, pleasant and helpful. One thing I really appreciated is that the rooms and common areas were not loaded with fragrance as so many are these days. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

Breakfast was great, buffet had a good variety and relatively priced considering it is a hotel breakfast. Proximity to the airport and free shuttle every 30 minutes is a big bonus. We wanted to switch rooms on our arrival and were immediately assisted by the very helpful front desk. If travelling for an hour or so to Halifax from outlying areas and towns it's an all-round super convenient place to overnight when departing /arriving in the early hours.

If I had to suggest anything it would be some focus on a kid friendly area perhaps. Even though this appears to be predominantly a business traveller hotel I saw a number of families and children. We used the small but well maintained pool, which was enjoyed by my children, so there is that.

Nice, clean, tidy. Even they have a Gym and a small climatized pool (that we were happy to use for relaxing before our flight. Our order was on a B&B basis, but they have a very good restaurant (cannery).

We checked out very early to catch a flight in the nearby airport. So i asked to get our breakfast (included in our order) in a box to take... and they don't have this service. It's something they could think about... or reduce from price if the check out is before breakfast.
