Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good. Gym was substantial for a hotel - well equipped. Sauna and spa were good after a day of exploring.

Parking not always available but we did know this before hand. Do not leave your car unattended outside the hotel. Parking police regularly patrol it and there is nowhere to unload really. Requested a twin room but on checkin wasn’t available. They did ‘upgrade’ us to a ‘superior’ room (I would call it superior) to a small king bed which my 18 yo and I had to share. The bathroom layout is very strange and be aware of it especially if sharing with teenage son or someone you don’t know well. The toilet and basin have a solid door. Next to it is the shower with glass stepping out into and area that has a light curtain covering it. Also, there is small window as the bed head. This isn’t private at all and a little tricky to cover up so it is.

Location was good to walk to the old town and the room was spacious and comfortable. The rooftop area was great to relax in the sun.

The spa area was not as expected, very small and crowded

The spa facilities were excellent and a great way to relax our aching old bones after hours of sightseeing. Exceptionally clean and well soundproofed rooms. Staff were very helpful and changed our room and transferred our cases without any issues after we had a problem with a pervasive smell.

We were staying 2 weeks at the hotel. For that length of time, our superior double room needed to be more comfortable.. It was impossible to sit up in bed to read or watch the TV as there was an open shelf behind it. The bathroom facilities were great but took up more than half the hotel room space with a pointless open dressing area where shirts could be hung, but not longer items like dresses, which i had to hang on the radiator. There was only one comfortable chair in this double room. This may seem petty, but the hotel had no bar, or comfortable lounge area for guests to relax in, except the reception lobby, the indoor spa or the sun loungers on the roof. If you stay for a weekend these niggles won't be an issue but if you're planning a longer stay I would choose another hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. We moved to a premium room as the initial room was far too small for a weeks holiday and the second room was fine. Breakfast was good. The hotel spa facility was lovely. The roof top sun lounge area with small pool was also lovely and fresh water and cava was available here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was about 10-15 minutes stroll to the beach/old town which was fine.

We booked a standard double room which was definitely too small for a weeks holiday (which we had booked). We didn't like not having a wardrobe. There are a few hooks above a dressing area so not good if you want to take nice clothes to hang up (especially dresses for the ladies as these just hang over everything left on the shelves). The ironing board was ridiculous as tiny and you had to clip out the legs and put on top of the bed to iron. Again if you have nice clothes or a nice dress to iron this isn't good enough. You end up ironing and then creasing your clothes up whilst you turn things around on the tiny board on top of the bed.

The hotel was really clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area and spa were really lovely and well maintained. The hair dryer in the room was a proper hair dryer. The facilities of the iron, ironing board and safe in the room were great. The beach is less than 10 minutes away and

The room was very overlooked so we had to keep the curtains drawn most of the time. There's not enough storage in the room, only two drawers and no wardrobe only an open hanging area which was too short for hanging dresses. The bed was very hard. There's a very strange shower curtain type divider as you walk into the room because the bathroom is open plan this would look a lot better if it was replaced by a proper divider or just removed altogether.

Good hotel in a great location; facilities were clean and tidy and the rooms with balconies were big enough.

Only a couple of things worth raising: - The covered balcony off the rooms get incredibly hot (like a tin box). - The room configuration was quirky but arguably not the best use of space, for example the hall/ corridor was almost under utilised space and the desk and arm chair were crammed in/ in the way. - Room service seemed to appear between 4:30pm and 5:00pm. This is too late os next time we would put the 'please clean me' tag on the door handle.

The facilities were great - the gym and the spa pool are great for rainy days. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with a good selection. In a great location - close to loads of restaurants, short 10-12 min walk to the beach. 15-20 min walk to the old town. Zurriola beach is a nice 25min walk through the city. Staff were great and always helpful.

The parking - only a few spots available for guests. None were available when we arrived so we had to park in underground parking 15mins walk away.

We stayed for one night and we wish we stayed for longer. Because the room wasn't ready, we kindly got an upgrade. It was very nice and it had a lovely balcony. The staff were very friendly, very helpful and accommodating. Excellent service overall. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I loved that the hotel was very quiet. We relaxed on by the pool on our checkout day and the staff were very accommodating. We could use the pool area and leave our bags at the front desk until we had to leave.

There was no bar. Only our mini bar in the hotel room. We could get drinks at reception on request, but the price for a mini bottle of wine was ridiculous. I could have bought a large bottle in the shops for so much cheaper. That was the only negative.

The breakfast was lovely, a nice selection - it might have been nice to have some freshly prepared food, like an omelette station, but the continental breakfast was very nice and well stocked. The staff were very friendly and informative - it was easy to find our way around, down to the beach and into the old town with their directions. The indoor spa area was great and the gym, while small, is well equipped.

It was quite expensive and I was disappointed to find that there is no bar at the rooftop pool, as I believed it had been advertised as such.

I liked the hotel, it was clean and accessible to all. Very close to the centre of town, with lots of local features in walking distance. I wish I could have stayed longer.

There was very little that I didn't like the staff were very helpful and professional, very accommodating at all times. the glass behind the bed, for me, was a bit odd and being at an angle! but that is just the aesthetics of the decor and not a dislike really, more an unusual unfamiliar layout. I would have liked the Air conditioning to be working and a small touch but a couple more milks for a cup of tea. aside from those things I liked this hotel and would recommend it.
