Met at the door, shown our rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely big room, bathroom was clean, hangers in the wardrobe to hang up coats. Extra blankets also in the cupboard. The long balcony stretching the length of the floor provided some views and fresh air. Appreciated the small table and chairs in the room.

No lifts, only stairs ( several sets to get to dining room). Restaurant was pricey. The long balcony is accessible to all guests on that floor so you have to keep your blinds shut as anyone can look in. The building works next door meant we parked about 1km away ( though we appreciated the free continental breakfast offered as compensation for the inconvenience.

Great location, cool view. Rooms are dated and worn, but very clean and no major issues. Has got some proper charm to it :)

Pricing is ridiculous, but so is the whole Thredbo village... :) Some of the staff members seem to be proud of channelling "go love yourself" mentality, not even returning a simple "hi". Others were very nice though.

Great experience for us. The lodge is cozy and warm. The room had amazing views. It is located near the chair lift and the ski station. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the overnight parking. The restaurant is a must! We’ll definitely come back 🧡

Excellent German wheat beer on tap & variettal selections. Good wine list.

Hotel maintenance needs improvement (the lights in our allocated room were defunct). We're moved to another room upstairs which was more spacious. Our suspicion is that being low season, staff shortage may be an issue in Thredbo.

The view was amazing to wake up to. The 3-bedroom room was spacious. We didn’t dine at the restaurant as it was closed on the night we wanted to go (Tue). The busses came just outside the door every 10-mins which was handy. Staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks Annie for making us feel so welcome.

Overall we loved our stay, but a couple of things for improvement would be;- For 6 people it would be great to have a seperate toilet and sink area. The bathroom situation was often not easy to shower and get ready and use the loo. A drying area in the room or in the lodge would be handy as the third bedroom became the drying room for all our ski wear. We only used two bedrooms as the third bedroom was quite cold and had a draft through the entry door.

Great location, close to bus stop and shops, comfortable room, great breakfast, cosy restaurant.

Seems most rooms have been updated but ours was in need of a bit of attention and the lighting was rather dim. But it was very adequate and worked well.

Really friendly and helpful staff - they couldn't have been nicer or more friendly and really went out of their way. We had a gorgeous fondue meal Friday night and on Sat we sat at the bar, played games and drank schnapps. It was excellent.

Pablo met us at the reception bridge, and personally directed us to our room, as we'd requested a room location without too many stairs as we had a recent stroke victim with us, and his walking ability is a bit slow and limited. He and his family also made us feel welcome by recognising us in the bluesfest crowds and acknowledging us.

SHOWER HEAD IN BATHTUB .... We realise its a water saver but its flow was pretty poor...

The view is always magnificant, just a shame there wasn't any snow this year! the overall vibe of the property is wonderful, we chose to stay here for the second year in a row because we enjoyed how 'european' and friendly the staff and patrons are!

European ambience and atmosphere, chalet style wood panelling, very lovely bar area with loads of schnaps and beers from parts of Europe (Austria, Germany, France). Sauna was good but could replace broken cracked shower door as quite dangerous.

Our main issue was parking upon arrival and departure but that is a major problem throughout Thredbo so you must unload your cases and skis and then go to park 20 mins walk away which in v cold rainy icy weather isn't ideal after a long drive (6-8 hours driving).
