Fabienne went to great lengths to cater to everyone in a timely fashion for breakfast and be as flexible as possible. She was very hospitable. The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy. The bathroom is small but has underfloor heating and heated towel racks. Plenty of hot water and a huge shower. The bed was really comfortable.

The parking situation with the metal poles. Parking at night, both my partner and I scraped the sides of our car against the metal poles as they are extremely narrow parks. Also, the pillows weren't very good and there was only one per person.

Excellent included breakfast. Included parking very close, with no need to navigate the narrow streets. A fair and reasonable cancellation policy. Fabienne is friendly and capable and happy to share her knowledge of Thredbo. The room and bed were clean and comfortable.

I can understand the "leave your shoes at the door" request for winter time or when it has been raining, but it shouldn't be necessary in fine weather. Coming in from the outside you have walked a fair distance on steel mesh stairs which will take care of most normal soiling. Even if there was a small additional cleaning burden. we're paying enough money for the accommodation! Guests should be aware that this is probably the highest accommodation in the village, so a fair hike uphill from the main shops and ski lifts.

Lovely location, great view, easy access (via steps) to Thredbo Village and activities, ease of check-in/access (including text info' sent before visit), very clean and comfortable, additional touches like biscuits/port in shared kitchen/lounge, delicious home cooked breakfast included, very pleasant helpful host, parking included.

The only very minor negatives were that we would have preferred firmer pillows (but I didn't ask if other pillow types were available) and the car parking spaces are quite tight (but that is normal for Thredbo and nothing that the chalet can change).

The star attraction at this accommodation were the managers Julie & Grant. They were so pleasant and helpful it made it a very special trip. I liked how the accommodation is rather exclusive in that it only has 4 rooms. Most people went out for the day so that meant you could read or relax in total peace. The view from the dining table was superb. It was totally cosy having a superb fire burning morning and evening. I loved being served breakfast and Julie offered convivial in house evening meals at an affordable price unlike most other venues. Access to tea/coffee/microwave meant you could enjoy staying in. Really liked how it was just down the steps to get the bus stop to go out.

Nit picking, I didn't like the lump inbetween the King bed as it was actually 2 singles put together. I also would have liked a small table and 2 chairs in our room rather than just a single chair.

A lovely place to stay in the mountains. Warm rooms and clean. Good modern bathroom. Lots of stairs to take into consideration but we didn't mind. The breakfast was great. Also loved no shoes in the house.

The beds were too soft for us, and sagged in the middle so we didn't sleep well at all. A shame as we really liked this place! Also our preference would be to have a kettle in the room so we could get tea in the morning without going out to the breakfast area.

We visited this "ski" lodge in summer. The entire area is a "V" with the one side the road and parking for this stay, the bottom is the ski lift / commercial district, and the right side the top of the mountain. Easy to get your bags to the lodge. Many steps down to town and if you climb the moutain the walk back up the steps is strenuous. The host is wonderful and cooks a tasty, filling breakfast. We enjoyed the other couples in sharing stories from around the world.

Clean, modern, warm rooms & a great communal area for the kids to play games & meet with other families. Breakfast is excellent with great choices & flexibility to meet your needs. Normal skiing facilities provided with ski& boot racks & a clothes drying room.

The stairs from the bus drop off to the chalet should be taken as a fitness challenge!

Cosy room and cool location with gorgeous views of the mountains. Extra things like towel warmers and electric blankets made the cold nights even better. The host was lovely and she made an amazing breakfast and was so warm and inviting and was happy to share her knowledge of the area.

Bathroom is quite small, but the water pressure is amazing! There are also A LOT of stairs, so be prepared for a great workout.

The room was cosy, and the window could open for fresh air (which i like). The self-serve area was great, and dining area had an excellent view. The breakfast options were excellent, very fresh & lovely. The hosts were very helpful & responded quickly via text. I can imagine the fire going in the dining room in winter would be epic!

I like air movement at night, so a fan in the cupboard or somewhere to use would be great, as there is no aircon (which you would hardly ever need aircon). If you had a heavy suitcase to carry down the stairs, would be quite a challenge as there are quite a few steps down from the carpark. The sensor light by the front could just stay on for a tiny bit longer would be helpful (not a biggy, but FYI) :)

The view from the dining area and lounge was fantastic. The location to the shuttle bus was great to get around the village. The heated floors in the bathroom were great. Great communication prior to arrival made it easy to find and check in. The breakfast was delicious and we really appreciate the gluten free options, it makes our travelling so much easier. Julie and Grant were so lovely and their knowledge of Thredbo helped make our trip so much better! Thank you.

The beds were not comfortable.
