"What did you like?": The lighting, particularly in the bathroom; the fact that there was a microwave in the room and some cutlery & crockery; room was clean and comfortable.

"What didn't you like?" : the fact that the bathroom light switch also made the fan come on, and the fan was not a quiet gentle thing (which they can be). Also, the hot water took ages and ages to reach the tap, sometimes even when the hot tap had been used recently. And there was no significant space for toiletries in the bathroom, yet the floor space was not small, so just needs a better arrangement for a vanity with a larger top surface.

The hotel was a convenient spot for what I needed, it had onsite parking, value for money, great service and staff that were accommodating for my late check in and early check out. The room was nice and comfortable and had everything I needed.

Only thing I didn’t like was that the heater remote wouldn’t work but I could press the button on the heater to turn it on anyway so it still worked I just couldn’t alter the settings.

I love the location; it's incredibly convenient for all my needs in Longford. I make it a point to stay at the same place every year because of its proximity to everything I want to explore.

I would greatly appreciate having the option for dinner since, on every occasion I arrive, I find that the kitchen closes quite early. This leaves me with limited choices for late-night dining, and it can be challenging to find food from other sources as well. It would be wonderful if they could provide some form of after-hours food service to address this issue.

We needed accommodation close to the Airport because we were leaving to go home next morning , it fitted the bill precisely. The owner and Staff were very helpful , they even notified us of the local businesses were we could get a good feed in the town. We found the room accidently didn't have mugs we approached the staff and on the spot rectified the problem with no excuses. For a economical location that's clean , friendly and central to a lot of Tourist sites this is the go.

It was clean and comfortable for a one night stay, giving perfect access to Launceston airport. The bathroom was particularly well appointed, though, oddly, there was no plug in the sink. We visited the Sticky Beaks cafe just opposite for dinner and JJ’s for breakfast and both were well up to the high standards we came to expect in Tasmania. We had a pleasant walk along the South Esk river of pass time before our car hire return and flight.

Everything! Great location when you have to get up at stupid o’clock to catch a plane back to drudgery! It was so clean, excellent bed and shower! Had microwave toaster and kettle with crockery and cutlery! Just brilliant for our last night in Tassie! Helpful staff on check in and smooth check in process! We will be back to stay here again!

Large spacious room with a large ensuite with a big shower. Beautiful old building on the outside but modern rooms. Microwave, toaster, kettle and hairdryer all supplied in rooms. Easy walking distance to bistro and bakery. Is a cafe/pizza place on another corner but was closed on Mondays Lovely old church across the road with gardens and chairs and tables. Absolutely topped off my holiday. This was the best hotel I stayed at for the 9 days in Tassie.

Not able to get food on premises. Scary as hell going outside at night. My imagination ran wild with ghosts.

Staff were friendly. Room has recently been refurbished, so was lovely. Had dinner at Sticky Beaks across the road and breakfast at JJs Bakery down the road. Had a nice walk around the grounds of the beautiful church & cemetery across the road. Liked the lovely old shops & houses in the area. Longford is a really nice little town.

I was returning home from an overseas trip, but didn’t want to drive the rest of the way after a long day. The room (note: up a flight of stairs) recently renovated, was clean, well designed, and had everything I needed for a night’s stay—a very comfy bed, fridge, microwave, dishes, table and chairs, and a well-designed bathroom. Parking, a security camera above, was behind the pub and free. Oh, and always a plus for me—the screened window could be opened and locked!

As the front of the hotel was beautifully decorated in heritage colours and style, I was disappointed to see that the room had not a hint of charm. It was decorated in today’s blah-black-and-white and shades in between. There was an air-conditioner unit atop which frequently switched on and off, and a few pub patrons talked loudly as they left; but I was so tired, the bed so comfortable, I slept very well.

Friendly and helpful staff, the accommodation was 3 rooms, bedroom bathroom and small kitchen with 3 large windows overlooking the street. Spacious, modern, newly renovated, so very clean with fluffy towels, crisp sheets and lovely toiletries. Having a bar downstairs was convenient too. Thoroughly recommend staying here !

Unfortunately we stayed on a Monday night when the few restaurants were shut, even the Chinese which was closed for a family reason. The pub doesn't have a bistro. We got something from IGA for dinner, so all good.
