The moment we got there the staff were wonderful. Reception staff had great sense of humour, polite, helpful. We dined at the restaurant and the meals came out fast and were huge! Value for money. Again, great staff in restaurant. Big shout out to the courtesy bus driver. We wanted to stay at airport for a while to see my son off. We were there for an hour and he happily collected us on one of his runs to take us back to hotel even though we had already checked out. We have collectively agreed this hotel will be our future base choice when traveling.

We forgot about the pool and didn't pack for it! We loved the stay, no complaints.

Close to URBNsurf - convenient. Good facilities. Quite close to public transport to the city, though the buses to Airport West are only about once per hour, or else about 40 mins walk. Clean, well-maintained. Eating options nearby - downstairs, or at 3 ducks (URBNsurf) or up the road at the Mantra, or at the nearby shops. For people who are catching planes, they have long-stay parking and a shuttle.

Really, it was all good, just one thing - if you leave anything in your bed when the room is made up, and if it goes with the sheets to the large laundry company, it's a one-way trip. We had an item that made that trip a couple of days into our stay, and staff did try to get it back, to no avail. So, on days that you want your room made up, clear out any pyjamas or cushions from the bed first!

Lovely room, clean, large with very comfy bed, excellent pickup facility and very friendly efficient staff. Lovely looking bar/ restaurant, but had a terrible meal there 2 weeks prior.

We didn’t eat in the restaurant as I had a very poor fish and chip meal before we went o/s 2 weeks prior. The meal wasn’t cheap and I was very disappointed, Left hungry ! We booked for the 10am shuttle back to airport and saw the staff enter it onto the log but next morning there was no record of it. This is the first time that this has happened. However, We got to the airport in time

I spent two nights there before flying back to NZ. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with what I needed during my stay. Close to the airport and the free shuttle service was great. I was able to accompany my daughter to the airport on the shuttle when she flew out the night before me and it collected me when I was finished seeing her off. I thought the cost was pretty reasonable. Would stay again.

Rooms could do with a bit of sprucing up and the TV was a bit iffy at times. They did say the shuttle could provide transport to local shopping places but when I enquired was told they were too busy that evening so couldn't.

They provide airport shuttle; there is a bar and restaurant, and I think everything is very reasonably priced with good variety of food and beverage selection.

Has both a gym and a pool. The pool is good for a dip and even for doing laps. The gym however the equipment needs updating and in general not all the equipment is in good working condition. The gym has two sauna rooms and two shower areas so if you have time, you can enjoy a sauna after a work-out.

The best hot showers EVER! Water pressure is AWESOME! I like staying at Cilom's because the price for the location to the airport and the facilities are great for me. I always think I will use the Heated Pool and relax and I never have time. But the Hot shower for a evening and morning freshen up are INCREDIBLY GOOD!

For sure a place can always be better and competition is rife. prices have come down since last year for all hotels in the area. You could always pay less as we are always trying to save money. But Cilom's has a bar, restaurant, Heated pool, great showers and the rooms are clean.

I selected this place because of the convinient location close to the airport and I was really happy about the shuttle service, because I had to go to the airport at 4AM! My room was confortable and clean, and I had a good rest before waking up during night. There is also indoor pool, gym and sauna, which I loved! The sauna was excellent. The staff was helpfull and welcoming.

It's an old building and little bit run down, so it could use some renovation. There is a dog/pet hotel somewhere close, so you could possibly hear lots of barking, but I didn't hear anything during night.

Comfortable, great location, plenty of facilities, great staff, looked after our requests, convenient to get a meal, downstairs and across the road. Have stayed here before and happy to come back.

All good, just a minor thing that the doona is warm enough for winter but a bit warm for summer (and a sheet alone is not quite enough). But setting the a/c to a mild 23 deg takes care of that! So, we were comfortable.

The hotel was slightly run down in areas but the rooms were clean and comfy. I'd stay again!

My only complaint was in the restaurant. I ordered a margarita pizza and when it arrived, there was no basil on it (so it was basically tomatoes and cheese). I told the staff and, after checking with the cook, I was told they didn't have basil. (If I had been told this I would have ordered something else.). They apologized and then sprinkled a tiny bit of dried oregano on it😞

I love that the room is clean and fresh. The location to the airport is perfect and I will continue to stay there when I travel

The restaurant and bistro are not up to standard. Facilities need to be thoroughly cleaned. I tried the bistro this time instead of the restaurant as I was unhappy with the facility on a previous trip. My meal was appalling. It was meant to be pasta but was instead a boiling hot bowl of slop with a lot of oil on top. I do not even understand how they were happy to send this from the kitchen or that wait staff thought ok to bring it to my table. My table was sticky and everything stuck to the surface. In future I will go to McDonalds up the road. No I did not complain as staff were busy and I was not prepared to wait. I vote with my feet and my keyboard.
