The room was comfortable and clean with a nice bed. Awesome view of the river and nice balcony with seating. The balcony door was soundproof and I couldn’t hear the noise outside when closed and the curtains were light/heat proof, which was perfect for blocking morning sun. There is a great little pool with chairs and towels. I would have liked some shade of the pool area. Mostly, the staff were so lovely. The reception team and managers were all so friendly and helpful. Every cleaner I met was so nice and would say hi. I don’t think you’re allowed to be grumpy and work there. It just made for a better experience.

The pool area needs more shade. The tiles get so hot in the afternoon that they are painful to walk on. The door handle to the room was a bit dicky. The shower probably needs a new shower head and tiles need a deep clean (no mould though). And the bathroom sink is this terrible shape that when you turn the very powerful tap on, the water will splash on your pants. None of these things would stop me from staying again though.

The Sebel Mandurah offered several positive aspects that enhanced our stay. - Cleanliness: Both the hotel and the room were impeccably clean, creating a pleasant and hygienic environment during our stay. - Comfortable Bed: The bed provided a restful night’s sleep, ensuring we felt well-rested during our stay. - Spacious Room: The room’s generous size allowed for comfortable movement and relaxation for the period we were there.

However, there are areas for improvement that the hotel management should consider: - Missing Crockery and Utensils: It would have been convenient if the room included crockery and utensils, especially for those who prefer in-room dining or snacks. Insecure Parking: The lack of secure car parking was disappointing, as we value the safety and protection of our vehicle. Overall, the Sebel Mandurah offers a clean and comfortable stay, but improvements in room amenities and parking security would enhance the experience.

The pool was lovely with the afternoon shade cast from the building with additional seating and BBQ area nearby. The room had a sizable balcony which we ate dinner and enjoyed a wine or two while overlooking the pool and marina and the bed was REALLY comfortable, the best on our south west coast tour. The Sebel is located in walking distance to restaurants, info center, cafes, whale watching cruise dock and a huge shaded playground for the kids. The Sebel also has a little in-house café for that morning coffee and a large balcony above the main boardwalk to enjoy the morning breeze and start your day right before exploring the area.

Comfort and meals were excellent and good value

Booking - I rang the hotel to get the corporate rate through the Department of Health. Unfortunately, when I rang on a Saturday (I think), the office was unattended, and the call went to an overseas connection. There was a poor connection - I could hear the lady, but she couldn't hear me. She hung up and although I rang back, it was not answered. I had to book on bookings.com which was undertaken very quickly.

Sebel Mandurah was an awesome stay. Receptionist was really lovely and welcoming. We were fortunate enough to be given an upgrade with a view overlooking the estuary so great views. Dolphins come in most mornings to feed which was really neat to see. Room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom especially large. Breakfast was really nice as well with the hostess actually sitting down with you at the table which taking your order which was different but a nice touch. The surroundings are really great as well with walks around the marina and man made beach nearby. Will definitely be back.

The room was beautiful King size bed Superior room. Immaculate and could not fault. The pool was lovely . Excellent staff and very happy to help at any time. Central location. Nice view on the 4th floor- wish I could have stayed longer 😆💕💗💕☕️

The only concern was people in the public carpark opposite at 2am - loud and drunk . I will approach the Mandurah Council to see if they can provide cctv for added security for the area

Extremely convenient location. we had other family staying nearby so easy to catch up with them.

I didn’t like the fact that the cafe was only open for a very short period of time in the morning. We arrive down at 10 am and all we were able to get was a coffee and a muffin no other food was on display and we had missed the Kitchen for breakfast and nothing else was able to be made for us. We ended up going somewhere else for breakfast which was extremely inconvenient.

Location is excellent - so close to everything - lovely spacious room

The entry to the hotel is confusing - we approached the hotel from the waterside/boardwalk, alongside the restaurant "The Penn" however this is not the main entrance to the hotel which is in fact on a different street at a different level to that on the boardwalk. The instructions of how to get in the building were lacking, however it was all sorted out when we called the hotel on the phone and they then came down to that entrance door and we were able to get in the lift that took us to the 1st floor where the mail reception was. Maybe a sign and intercom to reception on that outer door would be helpful.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, lovely waterside view and balcony, all staff friendly and helpful, housekeeping service and receptionists excellent, breakfasts superb, location central for all the restaurants etc. and a short scenic stroll to the old Mandurrah town centre. Free car park outside. Not overduly priced mini bar service. Quiet, secluded, relaxing pool area. This hotel gets everything right!

Some people might not like some evening noise from the really nice Pen Tavern below, on weekends and in holiday periods. However, it was not excessive or too late in the evening.

We had a one day staycation to see the Christmas lights in Mandurah. The receptions staff were welcoming and helpful. We had an accessible room on the ground floor. It was comfortable with a good view of the river. Amenities were basic but sufficient.

The outdoor table that was looking old and tired. A pair of indoor slippers would be good too. We don't like walking in and out of the room with shoes.
