Lovely location by the river. Good shopping and cafes walking distance

Most staff very helpful. Reception ok but wouldn't hurt for staff to engage. Tried hard to get a smile each time when dealing with one person. helpful but had a disinterested attitude.

Excellent location, within easy reach to facilities in the area. A few minutes walk to the ferry which can be taken across the river to Perth City. Perth foreshore is just across the road from the apartments where there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. A lovely supermarket close by serving fresh produce of a high quality if you don't always want to eat out. The kitchen facilities in the apartment are very good. The room was very good and spacious too with a little outside area to sit in. Would definitely recommend the Peninsula Apartments.

No dislikes - apart from the construction going on near by, however we were aware of this before we booked so it did not cause us an issue.

Great location friendly staff going over and above to help. The rooms are very clean and are serviced daily. I will stay again.

I had a situation with a lady in the laundry on my last night who claimed wrongly that I had put my black clothing in with her whites when I was doing my laundry which was false. One checks the machine before putting their laundry in there to see if it is empty which it was at the time. She also left me a disturbing note saying how selfish and irresponsible I was to put my black clothes in with her whites,I've turned her clothes grey, and signed that she was a long term resident there etc. Working in mental health as a nurse I recognised this situation immediately for what it was, apologised for something I did not do and left the area not feeding into the situation she was trying to create. This unfortunate event however has not changed my mind to come back to stay at a later date.

A very convenient location with awesome views on morning walks. Everything within the apartment worked.

Not that you could have done anything about it but construction next door starting early morning each day of our stay made sleeping in not possible. It was good to have a laundry available onsite, but maybe it should have included some complimentary tokens per room/per day stay? Also not having allocated parking meant the nightly and early morning car shuffle to avoid street side parking fees. (However, the availability of EasyPark to pay online from the room was very useful, once I figured out how to use it)

The staff from the reception to the housekeeping were excellent. All were friendly, polite, professional with smiles and lovely manners. Big thanks to everyone from all their efforts during my stay from cleaning my room to even helping me with the laundry. Then the location, which was a walk away from everything I wanted to see or do. Close to the river and the ferry or either the zoo and the myriad of quality dining spots. The Peninsular would be my top choice to stay in South Perth.

Nothing. Except for the heat which is what to expect in Perth this time of year. But the Peninsular had excellent air conditioning and the beds are fantastic! Great to relax in bed with the TV facing directly at you and the shower was of a high standard too.

Lift to the room, value for money was great, still close to the city by ferry, short walk to playground, food and ferry. Vouchers for local businesses, comfortable room, fully stocked kitchen. Room was serviced daily to our surprise. So much service provided compared with more expensive hotels in the city across the water. Parking was included with the room, not at a premium cost. There were communial spaces inside the hotel. Laundry available. Would definitely stay here again.

We were told cars could be broken into at night, but no one had issues while we were there and the reception was open 24hrs a day in an effort to combat property damage and theft. Made us feel a lot safer. Parking was on thw property was a bit tight for a larger vehicle.

Fantastic location near all you'd need in South Perth. Ground floor apartment with small garden courtyard was secluded and relatively quiet. Simple but very functional room with comfortable firm bed. Decent sized fridge and useful kitchen facilities. Gated parking on sight out the back was available but tight.

Room was rather dim, being bottom floor surrounded by buildings (no view). A lot of building work going on in South Perth during business hours can be noisy.

We stay at the Peninsula every time we travel to Perth. The accommodation is in the best position we could ask for with the ferry across the street, easy access to the city, an IGA a 2 minute walk away, quiet location with views of the swan river. I can’t fault the customer service, with reception and housekeeping going above and beyond for us. The rooms are more than value for money and with an added bonus of free parking. We always choose the peninsula apartments at south Perth over any other accommodation on offer.

The staff were so lovely, kind and helpful. What a fantastic location! Beautiful grassed area straight across the road on the waterfront that overlooks the city. 2min walk to the ferry, 10min walk to the zoo. Perfect for our little family to be able to visit both the museum and zoo for our daughter's birthday. So many food options nearby, but booking dinner ahead of time is a must on the weekend because it is a popular area. The double bed was comfortable and plenty of seating in the living area.

The 2 room apartment has a smaller kitchen with less bench space so it was a bit squishy to prepare food. But my parents and in-laws had single room apartments and they had plenty of bench space.
