Staff very friendly, nice patio garden and overall a great value for the price. Cheaper than a hostel while having privacy, personal bathroom and the stations of U metro and tram being very close and well connected.

The furniture and floors are clearly very old but it wasn't a dealbreaker, considering the price.

The location, the decoration, the warmest and helpful reception’s welcome and during the stay, especially Ayhan. The excellent breakfast!

The oldest carpet and mattress in the room.

Very good location - near tram and bus stops. A very good mattress for a bed. Hair dryer, heater, extension cord, good shower. Clean bed linen, towels, also a towel on the floor in the shower room. Quiet. Friendly service staff, told about the specifics of city transport. Coffee (2,50 euro) and hot water (free) machine on the first floor. Door code. There are kebab shops nearby.

Initially, the arrangement of the rooms by numbering was not clear. It was relatively cold in room 333, the wind was blowing from the windows, they could not be closed well. One heating radiator did not work, the other one was not very warm. Good thing there was an extra electric heater, a warm blanket and a good mood!

- The location is superb, about 50 meters away from the Metro line U6, which can get you to the city center in just 20 mins. - Asian, pizza, kebab restaurants, Lidl supermarket just nearby within a walkable distances, I don't need to worry about getting hungry living here. - Wifi connection is stable and strong in my room (214). - The room is clean and tidy, big enough for me to spend my 3 nights here

- The furniture and the facilities inside the bathroom is kinda old and falling apart, not really that comfortable when using it, some basic maintance may still needed. - Personal dislike the most is the mattress, extremely soft for me, not very friendly for those have a bad back. I have to remove the mattress every night.

The room is furnished in a nice retrostyle way. The double bed is actually two singles put together so mind the gap. Staff was really friendly, borrowed us an iron and helped with tips around the place like parking. Beautiful garden too. very central location next to the metro and 10 minutes walk from westbahnhof and mariahilfer shopping avenue.

According to my girlfriend the toilet smelled like old people, but she has a very fine nose for these things - I didn't notice anything! Maybe because I'm old myself? :D

First things first: this is not a luxury hotel. It's the Miss Havisham of Viennese hotels - it was beautiful and glamourous once but now it's pretty decrepit. That said - I absolutely love that quality in a hotel and so Hotel Raimundhof was an absolute delight for me. Sure, the couches were stained and the toilet smelled - but the sheets were clean and the bathroom was immaculate. We stayed in a suite for five nights and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable - I regret not having time to use the bath because it was glorious - as was the 5 jet decontamination-style shower - like having a spa standing up! It's 30 seconds to Gumpendorfer Strasse u-bahn station, 5 minutes to Margaretengurtel station, meaning that you're within minutes of central Vienna on two different lines. The surrounding area also has lots of useful shops, including a supermarket. And of course - it's possibly the cheapest hotel in Vienna. Finally, staff member Ivan was charming and incredibly helpful - one of the best hospitality staff I've encountered in a long time. I am genuinely looking forward to staying in the Hotel Raimundhof again.

I wish the suite had a refrigerator in the room - there is definitely the space for it and it would be handy - especially for longer stays. Occasionally the hot water wasn't fully hot (usually in the morning) but most of the time, it was delightful.

Everything in the room was clean and comfortable. Internet was pretty good, pretty usable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The public toilet wasn't for inee time clean as it shouldbe, but later other days it was pretty clean. Also for some people it could be that the bed sheets could be little small, so you should try to ask the staff if they can bring another one.

The instructions how to get to the property arrived in advance via SMS and in the application, they were very clear and I quickly found the key and my room in the facility. The room is exactly as on the picture, it had all the appliances which were advertised. As I read in the comment section before coming there, it is true that for four nights of my stay the room was not cleaned up and the towels were not changed, but that did not bother me at all. The furniture was quite old-fashioned, but so is the vibe of the hotel. My bathroom was very clean and didn't have mold, although the shower holder was broken. My windows were facing the quiet Garden, so even with windows open it was very quiet and calm. Overall, if you don't plan to stay a lot in the room - this is a perfect solution for your vacation, because the location of the hotel is ideal if you want to travel by subway, there were also shops nearby. I also read a lot of bad comments about the neighborhood, but nothing even remotely close to a bad experience happened to me, so I would say that this is a good location.

the problem was that heater was set at maximum level, and there was no handle to reduce the heat;so one night I woke up because room turned into a sauna. after that I always kept my windows opened. also, there was a kettle in a room, but not a single cup, so it was pretty much useless

The room was a suite, it was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was heaven on earth for me. The building is located just across the road from the train station and when you get inside it feels like you are teleported to somewhere else - it is very beautiful and quiet. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

I went on a very hot day. The main issue for me was that there was an air-conditioning unit, but it was not working. There was also no fan or anything to cool the place down. I was hot beyond measures after getting there around 3pm. This was however my fault, as I did not check properly in the site to see that they did not have any cooling options listed. I ended up putting semi cold water in the bath and cool myself down a bit. It actually got better when the night came but, in the morning, it was back to hot.
