My cat and I enjoyed a nice quiet, cool, comfortable room. Lots of space. Nice and clean. My cat loved the window ledge because he could watch the birds in the trees. The breakfast was outstanding. The whole experience was a great way to start off any day. :)

The ice bucket(rot smell/mold. I would place the ice buckets upside down with lid off. Plastic bag on top of bucket. tv went funny the next morning. Had only one channel. For most people that is such a minor issue. It is a very minor problem. However I am a couch potato.

Location is excellent for those traveling on the Yellowhead. Close to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean, comfortable and the heating/cooling system is very quiet.

It's often customary to present ID to verify that you are the person who will be occupying the room. What is not customary is for staff to copy information from your drivers license onto their database. I don't want that information on any hotel database and will not allow that to happen again.

Very friendly service and efficiently looked after when we checked in. The room was nicely appointed. Comfy beds. Appreciated the armchair; used it for reading while my wife used the writing desk. Appreciated the use of refillable containers in the bathroom for hand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Beats the heck out of those wasteful little packets. Good breakfast; really liked the omelette! Got my day off to a nice start before we headed out to Elk Island Park for a day of hiking.

Generally very happy with our stay as the service and accommodation more than met our expectations. At breakfast, I noted the dining area staff went out of their way to take care of shortcomings in available items.

The Staff went out of their way to make sure everything was well done. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The Front Desk Staff were always pleasant, and so helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent; something new every day. A very easy location to access wherever you were going.

Front desk staff were amazing. Can't remember her name but she called me 10 minutes after getting my room asking if it met my expectation - sure was. When I checked out, she tried calling me to let me know that I left my sweater behind. Luckily I was in the cafeteria and they tracked me down. So nice of them to provide that personal touch. They remembered my name the whole stay which was nice as well.

Our room included breakfast and the breakfast selection was amazing. The staff was very helpful and gave us extra blankets, coffee/sugar/cream etc and towels when we asked. Coffee was available in the breakfast room, all day. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Since it was a pet friendly hotel, I was a little concerned when I book, that the rooms might be a little roughed up. But it seemed to be a newer hotel kept in very good condition.

The only down point to this hotel was the hot tub and the vending machine didn't seem to work. But I still would rate this hotel very highly.

We have stayed at this property several times, so that is a testament to our satisfaction with the property. The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed, however all rooms done have large tv’s. The breakfast is fantastic and would certainly cost upwards of $15/person at a restaurant. The hotel is very conveniently located in Sherwood Park, close to main arteries and the highway. If you like to walk there are restaurants and even a brewery within a 20 minute walk. This is now our go to hotel when visiting family.

I wish it was a shower in the bathroom and not a tub.

Breakfast was too late in the morning for my schedule. Room was great money value. Room was exceptional with the bath amenities. The bar counter was a great and simple conversation location. Will return for another visit.

electrical outlets were well worn making it difficult to plug in electronic chargers and accessories

I loved that my dogs were so welcome there! They even had a bag of wonderful treats. My big dogs felt so at home! There was a few good grassy spots for them. And the soaker tub was so big! As a tall person I was very happy with that!

The dog friendly rooms are at the front of the hall by the desk.i think it's for ease of access though. If we were at the other end, there would be less foot traffic. Dogs like to tell their people when there are other people close by. I probably should have called ahead and told the hotel people that though. I am sure they would have totally understood!

coffee could be available in the lobby so you could get some after breakfast closed and you were still in your room breakfast should always be available until at least 10 not just on weekends our bathroom door stuck half way open/closed so had to be prepared, should be an easy fix I would think
