Rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are really comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast is good with plenty of options. Reception staff are professional, especially Iqrah who I noticed greeted each visitor with a welcoming smile and a great attitude. The bar and restaurant staff also made us feel welcome and work very hard. The cocktails and mock tails are absolutely delicious. The location is great and the amenities are also good. I absolutely love this hotel. Well done Crowne Plaza Docklands. I will visit this hotel again and again and recommend to others.

The room we was in was a bit cold however when I mentioned it to reception, they tried to rectify the situation. When the heating couldn’t be solved in the room, we were upgraded to a room with river view (although it was still a bit chilly in there too. I suppose it’s just the time of the year and the heating system has not kicked in yet) but I was still extremely happy with the upgrade. The menu is limited and has been the same for years. Apart from these two small points, there isn’t really much I didn’t like about this property.

The hotel was really nice and perfectly located for our O2 plans Our view was amazing. overlooking the water. So pretty at night. The staff were lovely. The whole place was very clean The rooms was really nice. Toiletries were included and they had a hairdryer There is a Little Tesco supermarket next door if you forget something. The breakfast was really nice and the bar area is great too. There are several restaurants nearby but if you are going to the O2 there are LOADS of bars, shops and restaurants there. You have several options for travel to get to the O2. Cable car is a great way to get to the arena and its right outside the hotel! I'd suggest you book Fast Tack if you want to avoid the long queues. If you don't want the cable car, there is a train station behind the hotel and that takes you to your connections for either the ferry or the tube Book as early as you can to get the best deal as the prices go crazy all over London if there is an event on If you are travelling from LHR, get the London Express to Paddington. It takes about 30 mins and costs £25 each for Anytime Single). You then jump on the tube. You'll have a couple of changes to get you to the DLR train to Royal Vitoria. Its right behind the hotel. If you get a single, all day ticket, for Zones 1 to 3 it will get you to the hotel for £6.30 each. Its much easier, cheaper and quicker than taking a taxi. The only thing I didn't like was there was no sound proofing so you could hear quite a lot of noise outside. Luckily, I brought ear plugs! :o)

Nice spacious room with comfortable beds. Friendly accommodating staff. Swimming pool and sauna. Great location right opposite dockside and cable car platform, ideal for O2 or excel access.

Had upgraded room to a dockside view which was not available at check-in, but this was compensated for by complimentary breakfasts of both days which was appreciated. Would have been nice to have a bar service food option the night we arrived. Elizabeth tube line was not running Sunday which made transfers a bit longer returning but was fine - a warning to hotel guests would be a nice touch.

The welcoming front desk staff who go beyond the call of their duty to make your stay a memorable one - special mention to Lillia and Daniella - both girls were exceptional. The breakfast was sumptuous with a variety of options. Safe and secure neighbourhood with restaurants and shops. Ambiance of the hotel was lovely.

Housekeeping staff that cleaned our room on Saturday of our stay didn’t do a good job - half hazard. Also please get the second elevator working as this is letting the hotel down with guests having to wait longer than usual. Taxi company used/ordered by hotel front desk ripped us off by charging £27 for a journey that was less than the one we had made 2 nights before and had cost £14.

Booked a 2-day stay for my birthday and wedding anniversary, i was expecting a not-so-good service! But me and my husband were surprised of the customer service they have! The front desk staff was really a plus! Our room was upgraded to King size with a wine, but we don’t drink. the bed was so comfy! we had fun and comfortable stay. they gave us a river view which was amazing! we requested toiletries and gave us! the pool was warm and of good size! the location is convenient, one cable car ride away to/from O2 arena! the breakfast was good! they gave us late check out which was excellent! did not regret our stay!

Breakfast was lovely and lots of selection and can order additional items separately. View of the river was amazing. Location is brilliant as the DLR stop is just behind the hotel and the Cable Cars are just a few minutes walk. Room was spacious for the 4 of us and very quiet. Restaurant in the evening was lovely. The pool was great for unwinding at the end of the day. The kids loved it.

The air con in the room wasn't very good and the window couldn't be opened more than a few inches for safety reasons so got quite hot so didnt sleep very well. The pool area is very sad looking with ceiling tiles missing and paintwork flaking. Needs freshening up.

The room was good and very comfy. The staff were very polite and professional. The hotel is close to Victoria Dock DLR and Customs House on Elizabeth line so easy to get to London.

Breakfast was chaotic most mornings as there were lots of guests staying in the hotel and one morning two guests were arguing and disturbing other guest and the staff had to move one of the couples promptly. In all honesty the staff did there best. Table were set up outside the breakfast room for 2 people but it felt like when we sat there we far from the breakfast and we felt like spare parts. Also on our second day the pool was closed after the children's session for maintenance of the ceiling so hence we could not use the pool that day. The gym is split across two floors which made it awkward to use the full range of equipment

Bed was comfortable Room was clean Staff are friendly Facilities were clear and accessible Vegan Breakfast was lovely. Vegan sausages, hash brown, beans, milks. Fresh fruit was lovely.

For breakfast, not sure if the mushrooms were vegan or cooked in butter! Other IHG hotels make them vegan, so be good if these 100% are as well. Our room was not ready for check-in when we arrived at 3pm and we had to wait 1.5 hours. However, this has not happened before, so we would appreciate it. But I feel it was sad to lose that time. They've removed the hand sanitiser from the restaurant and hotel communal areas, which I think needs to be a staple. On the 2nd night of our stay, someone came to knock on our door at around 2-3am, and this really took us by surprise. Then there was on one there, and we found it hard to sleep back.

Room was nice. When we arrived the window was open for ventilation. Was noisy outside by sleep time so closed the window and tried to turn on some fan in the room but the panel was in german. Didnt have time to fogure things out so had to open the window again a bit. The sheets for the bedding were quite noisy and my 3 yr old kept moving around. Strange thing to notice but when its silent you can hear a lot. Breakfast was very nice. The swimming pool area was smaller than expected. Not a fault of the hotel but there was one or two particular families there with wild kids taking over the area being super loud, diving/jumping in the pool when it says no diving. These rules didnt seem enforced. If they werent there I think the pool would have been a nice quiet place to relax. Overall the stay was good.

This was an excellent and exceptional stay for our night out in the city. The staff were always smiled and hospitable, going the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. On our arrival we were surprised to have been chosen as the hotels “VIP of the day” receiving an upgrade to our room and complimentary drinks from the bar which was much appreciated. Our room was clean, spacious and airy with two comfortable extra large double beds. It’s close proximity to our destination at Canary Wharf was perfect with travel time a little under 9 minutes by car. Ps they do a great breakfast as well. This was not my first day at Crowne Plaza London Docklands… their excellent standards have ensured that I keep coming back whenever I’m in the City.

Some arm chairs in the bar need to be reupholstered or replaced as they edges were fraying other than that we had delicious cocktails at the end of our evening.
