The hotel is in a lovely square just off the main road. Location was great, with a main tram station just over the road. The tram network is so good, with trams into town every 2/3 minutes and they only take 10-20 mins depending where you're going of course. It's also walkable. Rooms were quiet and beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was very good. There was a separate dedicated area for gluten free and lactose free diets. So thoughtful. Reception had a nice design with comfy sofas and a small bar, with great (but not loud) music. There is also an outdoor seating area. There is also a gym although we didn't used it.

Everything was fantastic. Highly recommended. If I had to find something I didn't like, it was just that the rail provided for hanging clothes was a bit small.

Lovely hotel in a great location with a large bus/tram/metro stop only a few minutes walk away which give you access to everything alongside a bunch of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Breakfast was fabulous, had everything you would want and more. My room was nice and had everything I needed. The curtains were very good at blocking out the light so no sleep mask needed in the summer. Also, it was pretty quiet.

The beds weren't the best, they were the type with a thin 'mattress' on top of the bed frame/box so every morning I had to move it back into place as it got displaced in the night. That being said, the bed linen etc. was very nice. Also, it was sufficiently clean but there was wear and tear.

The room was very spacious and nice looking, there was excellent consideration for families with small children. Unlike most other options we considered this one also had a breakfast included, whilst being the cheapest of similar options. The staff was very friendly to our kid and made his trip amazing.

Bit of a joykill to complain at all, but if we really wanted to search for deficiencies, it seems like the hotel was in between different buildings with varying degree of "freshness", so I'm not sure our experience is applicable to the entire hotel. The other part of hotel had old corridors that had a bit of an "old smell" in places, one of the elevators had half-broken buttons and the breakfast could've been more colorful, also some food stuff ran out quite quickly.

Located in city centre close to public transportation. Hotel was well equiped, our room was enough to accomodate our family of four. We enjoyed great breakfasts.

Room was not perfectly clean. There was some rubbish inside of foldable sofa and there were dust on shelfs. Missed wardrobe, which had to be replaced by dusty shelfs :/

The room was good and functional, with a small safe provided for valuables (too small for a tablet or laptop). Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions. There was a small fridge which made up the minibar, which can be re-purposed if you have something to keep cold.

The temperature regulation was tricky. It tended to be a bit too warm and it was difficult to change the setting so that it had any effect. However it wasn't a big problem. If you are planning to work extensively from the room, make sure to enquire if your room will have a desk. Mine had a small side table only, which was fine for a bit of laptop use, but would not be adequate for a longer working time.

We stayed in a superior room and the room even had two lounge chairs. I always appreciate having two chairs when you travel with your partner. The beds were fine, and the temperature in the room was cool enough for a good sleep. Shower was good, with a enclosed glass door.

The overall design of the room was rather dark, as was also the corridors outside (black). I would have liked lighter colours, especially when our room was opening up to a rather dark inner courtyard. The cosiness factor was not very high, although everything was of high quality.

The location of the hotel was good. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a kitchenette which was really helpful. The beds were comfy and the room was generally quiet except for Saturday night when a few more guests came in late etc. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was an excellent breakfast provided.

The temperature of the room was too warm and we could get that to change.

Apart from the coffee, breakfast (which was included in the price) was high quality and with a lot of options. They have bikes that are free to use for the guests.

Not all rooms have a mini-bar (mine hadn’t). Now personally I don’t have a need for a personal bar, but the ability to store items that require a fridge would have been welcome.

Great location. Easy to get to from Helsinki Airport, straight on the 600 bus door to door, 40 mins. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is lovely and clean. We had a superior room so it was huge and had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Breakfast included was great, large selection of choices including separate gluten free and vegan options for those that need them. We did Tokoinranta parkrun which is just behind the hotel, less than 2 mins walk and left our bags at the hotel before the run then picked them up before hopping on the bus. Would definitely stay at a Scandic again. Good location to explore the city of foot or by public transport. Close to the Botanical Gardens and easy walk to the Cathedral.

The property was close to a park, s few meters are some cafes and restaurants and what is nice is there is a nesr pharmacy as well as different shops and a 24hr food store. There are a lot of buses and a metro two minute walk from the hotel. The hotel breakfast was good!

We got a bit lost as there was some road construction going on. The hotel room isnt that clean.
