The open fire in the lobby and bar area, our room with a private sauna, and breakfast was amazing! A bonus of the viewing platform is to see the northern lights. The tap water is amazing and so clean. There is Santa Sports halfway ish to the town, which serves good-priced burgers, pizza, etc, Bowling, and a swimming pool.

More choice of food options. very limited menu in the restaurant. The lobby food snack bar was very nice but had limited and pricey snacks and drinks. I would suggest eating out if you have children and are sticking to a budget but try the main restaurant at least once for dinner and the lobby bar.

The location of the facility is in the forest, exactly where you would want to be in Rovaniemi. We went to the center by bike in 10 minutes, but on the way back we had to walk with our bikes in our hands, it was very tiring. It would be much more comfortable by car. The staff was very helpful, especially Matias. After leaving the hotel, we were warned by e-mail about the negligence of the hotel staff regarding the account, it was an e-mail sent as if we had leave without paying, of course we paid it immediately. We did not use breakfast for 2 days because we woke up late, I asked them for the breakfast fee back, they did not answer. If they had not panicked by forgetting to take the 60 € payment, everything would have been 10 out of 10..

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable and the sauna in our room was great. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also fantastic. We would definitely visit this hotel again or others in the same chain.

Could have been more variety of food at the hotel. There are limited bar snacks and the restaurant menu was good but we felt choice was also a little limited. We were out of season and other restaurants nearby that we would have visited were shut so this probably wouldn’t be as much of a problem if you are visiting in season.

Travel was by motorcycle. They have covered shelters for parking which was great (it rained :-( ) The breakfast was good and the restaurant has amazing countryside views. The 'mountain top' (ok big hill really) location is superb. It was a really great location on the arctic circle from which to see the midnight sun on midsummer's day from their 'aurora' viewing deck on the roof. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the Nordic styling is fabulous.

The midges were a surprise. Obviously not the hotel's fault but how do people enjoy the beautiful outdoor conditions of midsummer without being eaten alive! Maybe I should have, but I didn't anticipate them at that volume.

The live egg counter was good and the blue berry powder in the breakfast service. Unfortunately for dinner service they has a vegetarian lasagne which they only had served 1 dish for and which finished and that was there only main dish. So a lot of people like myself were very dissapointed with not serving enough food and only having 1 main dish.

there could have been a better selection for kids. The pancakes we ordered were belini sized and not enough for anyone even if you order 2 plates, which was a paid service. Usually all hotels with breakfast included have either american or european pancakes in their breakfast service.

The room was stunning and the view of the forest was majestic. Sauna in the room was so luxurious and only took under an hour to heat up to 75C. The breakfast was superb - lots of choice and amazing quality food, also a decent selection of gluten-free food which was amazing. The juices and smoothies were a highlight, as was the freshly baked bread. The sky restaurant itself and the views are breathtaking! The lobby was really lovely as well, it was a shame the fireplace wasn't working but they made up for it by putting plenty of candles around to create a cosy and warming atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, they gave me a map and some tips on good winter hiking trails around the forest which I really appreciated. I would absolutely come back here again, there is no other place I will ever stay at in Rovaniemi!

Great location, in the nature, right at the skiing / walking trails, yet close to the city center. Hotel is nicely decorated, room was quiet, with comfortable beds, sauna, tea/coffee service. Breakfast is amazing, a lot to chose from and very tasty. Restaurant serves delicious food, we were amazed by Surprise menu.

Room was a bit smaller than expected, but thats not a big deal. Unfortunately we were not informed that reservation at restaurant is a must, otherwise hotel guest may remain hungry as there are quite many external visitors. In the end we were lucky to get table at 9 p.m., unfortunately with limited dining options as kitchen was about to close. Still, food was wow!

Breakfast was very good each morning as was the buffet dinner also in the evening. The restaurant is stunning and is a very elegant design. Snacks available at the bar for long periods which is ideal. Rooms are cosy, saunas in the room are great but takes over an hour to heat up to the proper temperature. If skiing is your thing, you can hop on the chairlift approximately 30 metres from the hotel side entrance and it'll take you around 5 minutes to get down. Taxi to the airport should cost around 30-40 euros, and one into town approximately 20. The staff bent over backwards to try and help me plan an itinerary for the few days we stayed in Rovaniemi, they recommend Lapland Safaris and I can't recommend them enough. The hotel is quiet, and in a beautiful location. Sadly no northern lights whilst we were there, but there is a lovely roof terrace which gives 360 degree views of everything around the hotel.

Difficult to regulate the room temperature. Often too hot, meaning we had to open the small hatch under the window which wasn't ideal given the exceptionally low temperatures outside. The shower isn't the best design, you have a small shower screen meaning the bathroom easily floors unless you put lots of towels down. The taster menu was very good in the main restaurant but I do believe it was quite overpriced for what you get when compared to other hotel tasting menus I've sampled.

This hotel exceeded my expectation by far. Fantastic area, winter walking trails just outside the hotel, as it is located on a hill. Absolutely wonderful surroundings. The room was great, with a wonderful view and private sauna. Very comfortable room, big TV. Restaurant on the 1st floor and bistro on the ground floor both have superb views and food was very good. The staff working there are so incredibly friendly and good, one can see how much they enjoy their work. Loved the fireplace in the hotel lobby, such a cosy vibe. I was planning my return at the hotel, even before leaving!

Great room with a sauna it was really special. Loved using it. The dining was superb . Wait staff are very good one exceptional one was Boris. He was so friendly and professional.

The 2nd floor rooms were excessively over heated. We had to open the vent door to cool it. That was well before we used the sauna. Would be handy for someone with a disability or older person to have a lift..even a basic service lift for luggage.
