It's an amazing hotel close to the Basel airport, walking distance and easy to reach. Check in and out easy, the reception very polite and helpful. The room was clean, the bed big and comfortable, and the establishment clean. I highly recommend and I'm very happy with the hotel. Also very affordable price, thank you very much!

The room itself didn't have a bathroom and toilet, which is a bit uncomfortable. Also, you need to keep the code to the room with yourself and watch out not to get locked out, as the reception is not working at night and you need a specific number to enter your room

This hotel is an excellent option layover or an overnight stay near the airport. The rooms are simple and clean with the option for a private bathroom or a shared bathroom if you're on a budget. I was nervous booking such a reasonably priced hotel especially so near the Swiss border but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service at the desk was amazing despite the late check in. The night receptionist was very accommodating with both my partner and I and also the couple that checked in before us where the receptionist was very knowledgeable about the area and transport options. Stayed on 8/10/24.

Looking onto previous reviews I was a bit nervous about the accomodation but found that i was worrying about nothing. Accomodation is close to the airport and it took us around 19 min from airport to the door of the hotel. Hotel was clean, cheap and people that work there were nice and informative. I would recommend to everyone that need cheep accommodation for 1 night before the plane.

Rooms are small and bed a bit short. I think mattress size was 190 which can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re tall. But for the price of 55€ per night there’s really nothing to complain about.

This is the 4th or 5th time we reserve on this hotel. This has become our 1 night stop when travelling from north to south for holidays. Very good value for money and excellent location minutes away from Basel border. If you just want to make a stop to continue with your journey, this works perfectly.

We have been using this hotel multiple times exclusively in summer time. This last time we took 2 rooms (4 people), one room was face to the sun and the other was on the back. The one face back was quite okay if you open the window and even fresh the evening, but the one face to the sun was quite hot even with open window. If you get a face to sun room, you better bring your own fan with you. No other complains.

I needed a night´s stay before my next day´s flight very early in the morning. I had mixed feelings after the reviews but guys this is a very nice place! I had the kindest person at check-in and she helped me with so many things! I asked if I could upgrade my room and she handled everything very well. The room itself was small but cute and colorful, had everything that´s needed. I enjoyed myself and had a great relaxing time there. I already booked my next stay and looking forward to stay there.

I can´t say anything bad about the hotel, maybe a heads-up for the next travellers: the pathway to the airport is not fully done, you can walk there very easily 15-20 minutes as a backpacker, but if you have a large baggage with you that will take longer and might be a bit uncomfortable. Also what I didn´t like is the people who are not able to behave normally in the past and the hotel needs to take 60 EUR deposit just in case you break the room. Honestly Shame on us and please keep this place nice and tidy as they do for us!

The man at Reception was very nice, friendly, and helpful. very safe and comfortable Hotel. Some rooms share WC/Showers. Good value Budget Hotel within 15 minutes walk of Basel Airport. Exit to French side; turn left to end of Bus Plaza to covered walkway; follow signs for Parkhaus No 4 & 5; exit covered walkway at Parkhaus F4; turn left to vehicle barrier and walk to end of carpark; then left up sloping footpath; at top of Footpath then Right to wooden footbridge and follow footpath to another carpark; exit this carpark and turn Left and follow road around to Right; then take First Right and this will take you to Hotel Pedestrian Entrance.

Place gets a few bad reviews but I don't get why. I have stayed at F1's before and they are all good. For an airport hotel, it's a great deal. Rooms look cool with the decoration, it's clean, bed is comfortable, small desk, free parking, easy check-in, wifi works. There are rooms with shared showers and rooms with private. Rental towels for small free. You can walk from the airport to the hotel, there's a path on the left of the freeway towards the parking areas, then cross the freeway bridge, easy. Train station walking distance from the place (stops running after 8 p.m. or so) or you can take bus to airport from Basel then walk.

I really enjoyed my stay, I can’t confirm any of the unpleasant experiences other people write about. —> If you read the instructions properly you are well aware that one of the room options comes with bathroom or shower cubicle outside the room. Showers, toilets and room are super clean. Staff was very, very friendly. It was the perfect stay to get a good nights sleep after a late flight. I slept very well and the room was perfectly locked at night. If one reads the emails properly one is also aware of the 60€ deposit. For the price it was the PERFECT deal, I’m glad I trusted the good reviews. Tipp: in booking.com one can add a note while booking, I’ve added the request to put me not on the street side, so it was quite quiet at night with my ear plugs. Also: walking from Basel Airport is easy, under 20min, or: keep 10€ in cash for the taxi ready.

The room is clean and the shared toilets and showers are clean too. For a few nights is good, if you want to have a cheaper option to Basel. There are two options to reach Basel, either the 50 bus from the airport or the french train from Saint-Louis la Chaussée arriving from Mulhouse and going to Basel. Unfortunately the ticket machine is broken, so you have to buy the ticket online.

The arrival from the airport is not clear, so I would suggest the hotel to have a map on the booking.com hotel page, so you can understand how to reach it.

The room was very small, even smaller than expected. I could use a little bit more creative furniture. There are no bedsides both sides of the bed, this can be easely fixed. The bath, even if it was airplane size, worked perfectly. The people working in reception are amazing. From the welcoming young lady at first, to the nice guy who opened the breakfast bar later for us to get a coffee and a cup of tea, to the amazing lady who took us to the airport across the street in her ow car

no plugs on a side of the bed, no furniture, even the most basic on one side of the bed. bedside table/plank would easily fix it. google maps itinerary to it is accurate but treacherous. a lot of money for * star place
