Very nice room with bathroom and balcony. Clean and quiet. I didn't have breakfast or meet any of the staff so can't comment on that.

The gasthaus is in a lovely location, very quiet, but very hard to find if you arrive as I did late at night. There is nobody on reception in the evening and you have to find another hotel first to get your key, then try to find the gasthaus, which is very well hidden. If you can time your arrival for daylight hours, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Great location, huge garden around and a closed territory. Very quiet and the option to cancel cleaning when needed (otherwise you have every day cleaning service that also great). The room is spacious, warm, with enough blankets and closets. The kitchenette is well-equipped with appliances, including a microwave and coffee maker. Fast and stable internet. I really liked this place!

The kitchen was fully equipped but I couldn't find any pot or pan, and bowl for mixing. It was really strange when there was a hotplate. It was difficult to understand how open the gates to the territory - might have added this information in description of location.

Location is great, few minutes from metro and tram station. Berlin wall museum is few steps from the place. I was in 010 room, its on the ground floor, temperature was great, bug room, very clean, bathroom was very clean as well. Big windows, balcony, bed was comfortable. This is a guesthouse, you can arrive later, you just need to checkin in a hotel next to the guesthouse. The innen yard is beautiful, lots of green and its quiet. I tried the hotel restaurant 1 time. The food was great and the hotel stuff was friendly as well.

If the window is open and someone talking in the front of the house door, thats quite loud, but it happened only 1 time. The walls are quite thin, you can hear the cleaner very early in the morning.

A spacious, comfortable room in a quiet location. 30 mins on foot to the museum island. A section of the Berlin Wall practically on the doorstep. Private, secure parking within the complex for 10 euro/day (you need to check in first and get a key for the metal gate in order to bring the car to the parking area). Good access to the public transport. Reception provides a free map of central Berlin with S -bahn and U-bahn routs map at the back. Friendly staff.

The reception works within limited hours only. Hence, out of those hours you need to go to the reception of the Grenzfall Hotel (which owns the guesthouse) in order to check in. Another thing worth mentioning, the guesthouse is located within so called 'umweltzone'. This means, that if you are coming by car you need a special green sticker for your car. You have to apply for it on a designated website at least 2 weeks before your journey. Costs 6 euro. There is no info. about it in the listing of the guesthouse. We had only found out about the requirement a few days before our departure and payed lots of money for a 3-day delivery. It took more than 3 days to receive it.

Calm, green oasis in the middle of Berlin. The staff was most helpful, the room clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and good breakfast. It is in fact a building in a middle of a nursing home complex- I love the idea of social inclusion, I'm in my late 30'ies and enjoyed my stay thoroughly . I had a great rest both in the room and in the the lush- green courtyard, the location is perfect for sightseeing / enjoying the city as well.

It is a little tricky to find the right building in the complex to pick up the keys, I have however come across a staff member who happily walked me to the reception desk so all good!

Large fresh recently reburbished room. Smelled lovely of fresh wood and bed was comfortable Right next to the Berlin Wall memorial and close to travel links Tropical birds in the garden Garden was lovely

No kettle cups or tea or coffee are provided in the room. Didn’t feel like a hotel. More like a conference place

Large room, clean, great (perfect) location, beautiful area. Room is basic but good for city break (if most time spent outside anyway).

Hard to find & access and the front desk stuff was terrible and rude but we only had to encounter it on checkin/out.

This little hotel is in an old building nestled in a garden atmosphere off the busy streets. The room was big and clean with a nice patio. The price was very reasonable. The beds were comfortable,

You have to check in at another location around the corner. There is no-one on site in the building itself. You have to walk through the garden to get to the building--although it is very pleasant.

Really nice place with a beautiful quiet garden with lots of seating areas, yet when you get out you are right in the center. Rooms were clean, personnel was super friendly. Would definitely book this one again!

great location for my purposes- 5 min to subway station, not fat to Hauptbahnhof and Reichstag. Very clean room, nice surroundings in a garden, secure. Cheap breakfast- was excellent- highly recommend.

No iron or kettle in the room. No AC. Probably most of the time not needed, but I was in Berlin during a heatwave...After 5 pm you have to walk to another hotel to check in. I didn’t mind, but someone with heavy luggage should be aware
