The property is situated in a quiet, yet easy accessible location, by public transport or car. It is situated in an old but good looking building, with 3 m high rooms, which really give you the feeling of space. The rooms are pretty cool, although you will find a combination between new and old. The decorations of the furniture or mirrors remind you of the fine taste of the architecture. The bathroom is fully equipped and there is hot water all day round. The host is very friendly and even speaks seven languages. Will definitely come back soon if I might have a trip in Berlin.

There really is nothing not to like about if!

The hotel is well located in western Berlin, in quiet street but close to main streets and public transport (U-Bahn, S-Bahn). The 2-people room had a lot of space, since it was quite big and had high ceiling, also big window. Comfortable, big bed and a very nice, comfortable couch. The bathroom arranged in a simple, a bit old-fashoned way, but comfortable. Everything very clean. The personnel was friendly.

The staircase and corridor made a bit worse impression than the room, but the room is important after all. The door of the room could also absorb sounds better, since we could hear welll the sounds from the corridor. We were a bit disappointed because of lack of any good place to store bikes.

Close to Blissestrasse U-bahn. Not really a hotel, more a series of letting rooms. My room was plain but with comfy bed, kettle, clean and modern shower room - clean shared loo a few doors down the landing. Good VFM. No breakfast option but cafes, restos (good Vietnamese resto just around the corner), kneipes, bakeries, supermarkets etc within a few metres.

Hotel Gasteiner Hof is in a great location and is fantastic value for money!

Our visit happened to be right in the middle of a heatwave and there is no AC, but Niko the owner made sure we got a large fan which was sufficient to make us comfortable enough to sleep at night.

The room was large with high ceilings so the heat could rise, the windows opened all the way and could let the air circulate, which was great in the middle of summer. Water pressure in the bathroom was great. The provided soap and shampoo was nice and left my hair and skin feeling soft, even the toilet paper was quality. Good, non expensive location within a few minutes walk to the U7 and a 24/6 Edeka (closed on Sundays). I could get to everywhere in Berlin I needed to within 30-40 minutes. Very unobtrusive staff, but available to answer questions and help if needed.

No fridge in room, but definitely not a deal breaker.

My room had the most beautiful view to the street. staff were helpful. Nicol speaks very good English and there was another person who could speak Turkish too. Check in was fast and hassle free. The room was very big and super clean. I forgot something in room when checking out but the staff found it and put in in my baggage. Hairdryer works perfectly and room was warm enough. Very nice bakery and restaurants around. would definitely stay here again.

The only problem was that the room would get noisy in the morning. There is no iron in the facilities so if you need to attend a meeting keep that in mind. Also the fact that reception is open only until 5 pm might be inconvenient for late check out.

Good location, including easy access to Ubahn, bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants in the neighbouhood. The hotel staff was very accommodating for our late arrival and made it easy for us to gain access

The noise outside on Friday early am (7:10) - the courtyard amplified sounds and with open window they were disturbing to our sleep.

It was cheap but the room they gave us was really pretty and clean!

Above us lived very loud people, they ran across their apartment all the time and screamed, even late at night. I don’t know if they actually lived there or were just on vacation. But it was really annoying, my boyfriend and I are shy so we didn’t say anything to tjhe staff.

The room was clean, fully equipped for a short stay. Located in quiet neighborhood but close to metro stations and local shops and restaurants. Special thanks for bed with very comfortable mattress.

Very clean and big room. We were three but there was plenty of space. Nico the owner helped us with all what we needed, which we really appreciate. Truly a place to come back.
