A charming hotel. Perfect base for our week's stay in Berlin since we relied and used the train /bus system a lot. Reinickendorfer strasse Ubahn , Wedding, and the bus stop for bus #120 heading for the Hauptbahnhof were within walking distance. The room was large for the two of us, comfy ,clean and quiet. Breakfast in a cosy room with a view to the outside gardens was fairly substantial and typical German breakfast offerings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our request for fresh towels without needing the room cleaned was met quickly. Felt safe here .

Pillows were too squishy, instead of plump and firm but that just a personal preference and did not detract from the comfort of our stay.

This is a not-for-profit hotel — the only one in BERLIN. The money goes to support Christian charities. I am not a Christian myself, but I love the idea of doing things for OTHERS, and not simply for profit. The people who work in the hotel mostly (maybe entirely, I am not sure) come from the Christian community behind the hotel. They have a special connection and commitment to the success of the place. They care about it, and therefore really care about you, the customer. All staff are very open and friendly. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO PRESSURE REGARDING CHRISTIANITY — YOU ONLY LEARN ABOUT IT IF YOU DO A LITTLE READING AND ASK A FEW QUESTIONS. Place is very quiet. Breakfast is ample and good.

The area immediately around the hotel is a little run down and uninteresting — but it is PERFECTLY SAFE! It’s only a 20 minute walk to very interesting areas. Hotel is well served by public transportation.

The room was pretty clean and confortable. There were all the things you would need for a short stay. The staff was really polite and helpful with everything. Everyday they would take out the trash and make the beds. We didn't have booked for breakfast so I'm not sure about that. The location is good too since it's pretty close to public transport stations and the ride to landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate took about 20'. The pictures of the rooms I think do not justice the actual situation since the rooms seem to have older style when the reality is not exactly like that. We would definitely recommend it and if we visit Berlin again we would choose to stay there since it was really value for money.

I absolutely loved that place. To me it presented unbeatable value for money in Berlin. Centrally located close to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. Although you can even walk to the city centre if you want. Basic but very nice room. There was even a little fridge there. Very helpful and friendly staff. Simple but tasty breakfast. Spotless clean and quiet. I had a shared toilet on my floor but never met a single person while l was there. Perhaps the only thing that was missing was a little kettle in the room to make a hot drink after a long day of sightseeing. Apart from that all great for that price. I highly recommend that hotel if you are looking for comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price in Berlin.

The staff was kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean, including the shared toilets. The location is also great, close to the Wedding S-Bahn station and to the city center. It’s great value for the money, and I was very pleasantly surprised.

The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the curtains didn’t close all the way. I had to sleep with a sleeping mask, because it is very easy to wake up every now and then with the light.

Clean, very quiet, and spacious. All the hotel and the rooms looked ancient, like a grandma's house 30 years ago. Interesting, time-traveling, very high ceiling, a normal size bathroom with a real bath. The view from the balcony on a green wall was absolutely amazing! Fresh (for Berlin center) air.

Breakfast was good, but it had too few options. Sandwiches, muesli, boiled eggs. But no scrambled eggs, no porridge or anything else. WiFi was slow... Fine to check E-Mail, but not good for calls, work, and of course streaming services.

Room are very clean , theoretically is it considered to be a narrow room , but actually if is furnished in a way that utilized the space in an efficient way. The hotel location is very good , very close to a subway station that takes you to many of the cities attractions , also very close to "Wedding" train station that you can use to airport. The area is a quiet area yet it has many supermarkets , restaurants and coffee shops The staff is super friendly and supportive , thank you Andy for being supportive and friendly We diffidently recommend this Hotel for a budget stay , basic hotel , clean and neat.

The plumbing sounds is loud , sound insulation between room is not at best , but frankly speaking , this didn't construct a big problem to us when it comes to sleeping quality

Good location, I walked everywhere, but lots of transport close by. Friendly staff, I had shared toilet, which was actually fine, all clean. Room better than I expected, might not be 'modern' but it was nice. Area I felt safe definitely would use again if I return. Better hotels if spend more. But for cost, excellent

Very cute old-school hotel, with very kind reception staff. Everything was exactly like the pictures, clean and in order. Our windows looked to a cute inner garden, it was very silent. The location was great too, very close to the train. Next time we would choose this hotel again!

The hotel is located near buses and trains, making it easy to reach any place in the city without struggle. The room was comfortable and cozy. The toilets were in the corridor, but it was not a issue at any point during my stay.

The walls are paper thin, so don't forget your earplugs. The curtains also do not hide the light completely, but it was all right in my opinion.
