My first time visiting Berlin was made so very nice by the staff at Leonardo Hotel! I stayed Monday-Friday and adventured in the city during the day. Perfect location to get around to the sights

My only complaint was there was a loud buzzing/electrical groaning in my room constantly which made it a little hard to get to sleep without something playing to drown it out.

Location, Hotel Style, room is style and modern, tasty breakfast

Not much place for belongings-there were no shelves for cloths, although the room is decorated with some cubes which could be used for storing, rather than just decoration. Price is rather high

Location is excellent, in between a tram station easily accessing Museumsinsel, between two stations of U6, one of them is also an S-Bahn/train station, these making easily accessible most of the sites with maximum 1 transfer, several sights in a longer walking distance. Many shops, restaurants nearby, from good cheap ones to expensive ones. Room is what you expect from a 4 star business hotel, we did not need more. Breakfast was expensive (later we realised it is expensive in Berlin overall, except for buying something in a nearby story), but we tried it in the last day, and found it very good. Buffet size in square maters is small, but it has everything I was thinking of being part of a breakfast, in one day you cannot eat all type of food even in small amounts. Due to small size, they are frequently reloaded, so everything is fresh. Timing of breakfast is also excellent, from 6:30 to 10:30. Having a fridge is a big plus. The size of the safe was huuuuge, I really liked it, as I take my lenses with my camera for travel, but not take them every day, and in spite of that the safe was far from being full. Staff was helpful, every question answered, issues solved quickly.

This time we travelled only with my son, so were able to squeeze in our clothes into the furniture, but overall the amount of space for clothes is not very big, apparently the hotel is rather for business with 1-2 days of accommodation. (Or at least the room we were in.) I were in similar hotels due to business, so it is not a big minus, but be prepared, that if you have more clothes probably some will remain in the suitcases.

Room was nice and spacious. Bathroom as well. Accomodation was in a good location, walking distance to Brandenburg gate.

Rooms can be quite noisy, especially if in a room that can be interconnected

The location of the hotel is in the city center, close to the railway station and many city attractions. Transport from the airport is very simple by train or taxi. The rooms were as described, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had many delicious options and was vegan-friendly. Even if the guests didn't have breakfast included there were complimentary tea, snacks, and drinks offered. Every staff member was extremely nice, welcoming, and open to answering any questions. The WiFi was working perfectly. The AC was able to cool down the room in a matter of minutes on hotter days, although we didn't use it often.

One of the three elevators was broken during the time of our stay, so the wait times were often pretty long. Luckily we were only on the first floor so it was possible to use the stairs when the elevators didn't come for a longer amount of time.

This is a short walk from the Friedrichstraße train station. The hotel emailed a pre check in form and so check in was fast and easy. There were lifts. The room was of good size and had all the necessary amenities. There was a fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. But we couldn’t get the tv to work and didn’t bother. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was superb with great variety. They even packed a breakfast box for us the next day when we had to leave early for our flight. Overall was a good hotel but they should pay attention to small details. The Leonardo hotel brand has been all good.

However there was a bad smell and even though we told the chambermaids, the smell returned soon after they cleaned the bathroom. They should just pour some bleach down the outlets to solve the problem. It was sad that the towels were small and thin even for smaller Asians like us.

Comfortable hotel, good air conditioning and comfy beds so slept well. Great location. Really good for walking to most visitor attractions. Nicely set back from main road so in a quiet spot. Ideal base for a city break.

Asking a few times if you will do without room cleaning via tablet in room. Also, fire alarm meant we had to evacuate room at 4.50am & stand outside for over an hour. No fire but some gas levels in part of hotel had risen. Difficult to go back asleep after that, so were tired then during the day. Obviously safety comes first but would have been nice if hotel had used the tablet to communicate about this, and acknowledge & apologise for inconvenience to guests.

Great location, I was able to walk to most of the tourist spots I was interested in (Reichstag Building, Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, etc). Good selection of restaurants nearby. I liked the modern decor of the room, especially the glass bundt cake pan used as a lamp cover. Evening reception staff was helpful when I asked for a firm pillow.

Towels were thin and not to my liking. There was no “Do Not Disturb” sign when I first checked in, so I was woken up a few times on my first couple of mornings there. Thankfully they had some at reception (when I finally remembered to get one). When I checked in, the usual things were cleaned (bed, bathroom), but the desk and chair had some food on it, there was a train ticket on the shelf above the safe, and a toothpick on the floor by the bed.

Everything! The location is great - just beside the river with lots of restaurants alongside; walking distance of Museum Island; walking distance of train station Friedstafe (just one stop from Berlin HBF) with direct trains to Potsdam and Sechsenhausen Memorial. The room is clean, the beds and pillows comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attends to each request with a smile. The green apples in the foyer and free coffee at the bar in the morning are great touches to a homely experience. We stayed for 4 nights and would come back again.

The room is a bit small, but we managed to open two mid size luggages with some planning.

The rooms were modern and clean, as well as quiet. The breakfast was really good and with a lot of variety of fresh ingredients. Staff was really friendly, quick and helpful, and kept the lobby area very clean. On our last morning of our stay, there was a false fire alarm and even then then the procedures to evacuate people were fast and clear. We didn't get any compensation for the early 5 am morning rise, but the staff was nice and helped us order a cab so we could reach our flight on time.

they NEED one or two extra coffee machines on the buffet area. Most of the mornings there was a considerable line to get coffee, and when it's a very busy morning, you have to be careful not to leave your table or the staff will clear out your (still full!) cups and glasses in order to make space for other guests, even if you're not finished. The beds are a bit too soft for comfort.
