The location is excellent, 5 minutes from the metro, bus and a good size supermarket (AB). Metro line serves the airport and city centre, airport express bus stops at the bus stop. Free parking was a bonus, we could park and unload before returning our hire car. Quiet neighborhood, apartment a good size, clean and well equipped. Large bed is comfortable, we didn't try the air conditioner as the room never got too warm. Big fridge/freezer. Direct access to the garden which has citrus trees. Host responded quickly to requests, and was there to greet us on arrival.

The bed is on a sleeping platform, plenty of headroom cupboard space, and floorspace but up 10 stairs. The listing reads 'entire unit on ground floor', the stairs could be a problem for someone with limited mobility.

Forgot to book room after ferry crossing and thank goodness Valahouse was available. Great reviews are warranted. Right near metro line to get to airport. Private aparment with garden. Fridge was stocked with basics (thanks!) Supermarket right at station so we could get staples. Very comfortable bed, cold air conditioning, hot shower, washing machine... everything we needed. While we stayed elsewhere for our first few days, we wish we had just booked Valahouse instead of down in the noisy/tourist area. Lessons learned.

Valahouse was perfect, and the hosts were wonderful! Natalia and Evangelos were very warm, welcoming, attentive, and responsive. They went above and beyond to answer our questions. They also left homemade cookies for us that were delicious and a sweet surprise! The accommodations were perfect for us! Uber rides were easy to and from here to Athens and affordable. Super convenient to our son who was studying at Deree (American College of Greece).

House: Very cozy apartment with all amenities you need, the 2 A/Cs are very good (one in living room another in bedroom) taking into consideration the hot weather in Athens in the summer, perfect kitchen, huge balcony, excellent mattress/bed. Location: Close to restaurants, supermarkets, drugstores, 5 min away from subway taking no more than 15 minutes to get in Plaka or Monastiraki where everything happens in Athens.

This was our second stay at Valashouse. We so enjoyed how clean, comfortable, and spacious it was, so we had no hesitation to book again. The location is good if you wish to stay away from the city center, but still close to a metro station so you can ride back into town. It also makes for an easy trip to the airport, avoiding city center traffic to get there. The owner was communicative, gaining entrance to the apartment was easy, and we were able to arrange a reliable ride to the airport with them for a fee. We also enjoyed breakfast out on the lovely rooftop patio thanks to some fruit and baked goods they provided.

Babis is a great host! We arrived late in the evening and he was in contact with us all the time. He recommended a nice place for dinner and I do appreciate his recommendation as it was raining and to walk around and look for a nice restaurant was not a great option with kids. The apartment is cozy, the kitchen have everything that you might need. Wonderful terrace! I do recommend this place even for longer stay. The metro station is on 3 minutes walk and is very easy to reach the center (8-9 stops)

Great host, very kind and welcoming. The apartment is very clean and well furnished, the host even left some fruit, juices and water. Very appreciated in the hot season. Both the city center and the airport are easily reachable by metro, few hundred meters from the apt. Highly recommended!

Beautiful loft in Agia Paraskevi. For us the location was perfect - quite close to Deree (American College of Greece) where my daughter was attending school. Excellent hosts who had left a large fresh fruit bowl, cookies, juice, water, and crackers for us. Large, clean, bright apartment with all the amenities. Big kitchen. Great shower. Lovely terrace. Big bedroom.

Nothing - this was a great place. Just a note when adding the address into Uber, there is also a Valaoritou 13 in downtown Athens so make sure you are going to the one in Agia Paraskevi

We needed this location as we had a party nearby. The flat was really nice, and took 4 of us (2 couples) easily. The kitchen was good and we could make a meal for ourselves. Large balcony with chairs. All is clean and tidy.

The bed in the living room is an unfolded divan, I think. It is spacious, but is less comfortable than a proper bad. The balcony was quite overwhelmed with sun at some point, so it was impossible to get out there (42oC), so some extra shielding would have helped.

Great quiet apartment with fantastic amenities 3 mins from the metro (direct line to the airport and centre). The bed was very comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with amenities and thoughtful treats. The neighbourhood is really nice and quiet. Perfect! I would definitely stay here again.
