The views from this hotel are second to none - I explored a lot of the island and this was by far the best view to wake up to every morning. The location is also great as it’s a little less busy in this area but still easy to walk down to Fira into the hustle and bustle. Lots of great places to eat near the hotel and the room itself was lovely and clean and had everything I needed.

While the breakfast was substantial and yummy, it was the same every day. It would be nice to have a couple of different options. There was also a couple of nights where people sat outside on the chairs in front of my room talking and playing music until the early morning, I’m not sure if this was other guests or staff. As the rooms don’t have windows that close properly it was hard to shut out any noise.

True to its description, all rooms are gifted with a magnificent and uninterrupted view of the caldera and the sunset view every night of your stay❤️ The two staff, Maria and my sincere apology I forgot the name of the other one, were so polite and nice serving breakfast and maintaining the room … the room smells so good👍🏻The plated breakfast was good and enough. Coffee refill is available.

Finding the hotel in the beginning. It is located or hidden behind another hotel (Hotel Mylos, if I remember correctly). You need to go down one more flight, so be very careful. If a curtain could be fitted in the shower in order not to spill water in the bathroom floor especially when using the rain shower head.

With a stupendous view just outside the room, filling breakfast and a comfy bed, what's not to like? The jacuzzi located right on the edge of the caldera was a huge hit, and it was difficult to tear ourselves away from the views. Located in a quiet area well away from the bustle of Fira, it was nevertheless close enough to get to eateries etc on foot via the wonderfully scenic cliff top pathway. If you are looking for a quiet stay with great views and at a reasonable price (for Santorini), this is somewhere you should consider.

The bath/shower leaked.

THAT VIEW. It's all about the view. And, might I say, even in mid-October, you want to enjoy that view over a glass of wine at your hotel, not in a public setting with throngs of tourists. That view for this price can't be beat. There aren't many amenities here but frankly, they're not needed. This place was perfect given what we were looking for. And, we used the spa as our personal pool which given the time of year, the lukewarm water worked perfectly as a cool down and a way to stay relatively warm while doing that. The women who brought out our daily breakfast and cleaned the facilities were absolutely lovely and the reason why I left with a smile on my face. Proximity to the local buses was key and without being in the heart of Fira which frankly, is full-on as compared to our more relaxed location. And, that walk to Imerovigli is relatively doable (even with older parents). I really appreciated where we were and fully enjoyed our stay.

The pillows were lacking in substance and the beds aren't the most comfortable with some being very low to the ground which can be hard for older folks (although mine was large and I appreciated the space). As I had two rooms, I'll say some are well organized and laid out and others can be a bit haphazard with their setup. My bathroom didn't have any real counter space (but the sink was really cool!). I know everyone complains about the breakfast being the same every day but it really isn't the primary draw with this hotel and they at least had hard-boiled eggs and yogurt for us gluten free types (which isn't always the case at places). Overall, no real complaints about this hotel - just tweaks!

The view is as incredible as the photos and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Absolutely loved being able to sit on the outdoor chairs and just enjoy the sunset. Not a comment on the hotel just a Google Maps note - when you are at the top of stairs going down... don't, just walk a few more steps up the hill and there is a better entrance!

The view, breakfast, room and staff were wonderful. The space is great for relaxing and watching the sunset. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. They were also great for providing recommendations and facilitating booking of activities for us. We had a near perfect stay and found the staff to be extremely helpful. The location is great as it is private and quiet yet a short walk to the main sights in Fira and restaurants. We would recommend this place!

We asked for the hotel reception to arrange a transfer to the airport for us on our last day; however, the transfer service arrived over half an hour late and was booked under an incorrect name which resulted in confusion from the driver as to who he was picking up. This was all resolved after some time but led to some stress and frustration as we were trying to catch our flight. Make sure to confirm with reception that transportation arrangements are done correctly and give yourself plenty of time.

The 180+ degrees views here could not be better. All rooms face sunset. It’s better views than I’ve ever had in my life. They had a “hot” tub that was cooler to sit in - so wonderful after a hot day of touring. Breakfast was brought to your personal cute outside table. Eggs, sausage, breads, cakes, yogurt, apples, panini ham and cheese sandwich. Cushy outdoor seating too to sit in for sunset (or whenever). We LOVED this place. Fira is where you want to be. The hotel rooms go down the side of the hill with no foot traffic right next to you (like in Oia). It is a 2 minute walk to the central square where you go to meet taxis and tour busses. On top of it all, I left a very nice necklace behind and staff made sure I got it back.

The position of the hotel is ideal, on the edge of the caldera but still there are not many stairs to go down, a few hundred meters from restaurants and a supermarket, with a large parking lot nearby, and Fira is only a 15-minute leisurely walk away. The staff was very kind, the ladies who provided cleaning and breakfast always with a smile on their face and a warm greeting. The room is spacious enough, with a large bathroom, with good shower pressure and very fast water flow, smart TV, wardrobe, silent refrigerator and coffee maker. Since it was off-season, I did not use the air conditioning. The wifi signal was very good. The rich breakfast, even if it was the same every day, gave us the necessary energy to start the day, being served on the terrace in front of the room with an unforgettable view. We recommend this accommodation location and we would always return there!

EVERYTHING!!! The view is to die for. All the pictures on Booking are just as we experienced them. Google Maps is not correct as to its location. Find Hotel Mylos on Google Maps, zoom in until 3 Bambini shows up. There is a passageway between them with a sign at the end saying “Sunset Hotel.” Go across the deck and the hotel is down the stairs. Hotel Mylos is right above Sunset. Every time I asked the manager if I could……? The answer was always, “Of course, yes.” The two ladies who serve the overwhelming breakfast and clean the rooms daily are hard workers and very pleasant. We would not hesitate to return as it is so close for a walk into the crowds of Fira, yet quickly return to this quiet hotel.

Nothing!!!!

What an absolute gem in Santorini! We stayed at Sunset Hotel for 3 nights. Our standard room was incredible. Definitely has a true Santorini feel. The bed was super comfy, the comfiest I've had during our 16 night trip in Greece. The room was a nice size. The bathroom fit with the style of the room. The views are INCREDIBLE! All the rooms have either a small patio with a table and a few chairs, or a lounge, or both. Our room (the very last room, closest to the jacuzzi) only had a lounge and we enjoyed it so much. All the rooms have incredible views of the caldera, but had the best imo! The lounge in front of our room was surrounded by glass so it wasn't too windy and we had a clear view of all sides. You have a perfect and private view of the sunset. It was so relaxing to sit in the lounge and enjoy the sunset without having people all around you like you would in the towns. The jacuzzi was nice, not overly hot but a perfect temperature. It wasn't used very often, but maybe it was a bit too chilly and windy. Instead of going out to eat in the expensive restaurants with caldera view, we opted to get some takeaway food from across the street (Vicky's for pasta and pizza and Why Not for gyros, both were great and very reasonably priced), and we had dinner it at our lounge with gorgeous views. The breakfast was the same every day, but that was alright. The breakfast was obviously served outside so we could enjoy the incredible views, but there's also the option to sit inside in the reception area if it's too chilly. All of the staff were also very kind and helpful. Firostefani is the perfect town to stay at in Santorini I think. It wasn't overly busy. It was a 15min walk to both the quiet village of Imerovigli and the crowded Fira where all the cruise tourists are. I had never expected to book a hotel with such a view for this price. We paid €123 a night for 2 guests including breakfast early October.

The only slight downside was the large open side of the shower, it was a bit hard to shower without getting the whole bathroom wet.
