the view was amazing. Quiet surroundings with easy walking distance to all places. We hicked from the hotel to Oia on the nice walkway that runs along all the hotels, from Fira to Oia. We also had a heated jacuzzi on the terrace outside the room and it was absolutely lovely. After a long day we could enjoy the evening there with a glass of red wine. Highly recommend that. Also we booked the sunset catamaran tour from Oia, Highly recommend. One of the biggest, whit the best crew. We will miss the place and the hotel, and will defiently go back tere. fantastic hotel and staff. 

Stayed at the junior suite with the hot tub and the views from the room were breath taking. The place in itself had a quiet and cosy vibe which is what I wanted. The location wasn't too bad as it was only 10mins from the bus stop.

There wasn't enough lighting in the bathroom and the absence of a bell boy made it difficult to carry our suitcases around. Compared to all other places we stayed in Greece, this was the only place that charged to organize a transfer, maybe because of its location which is fair. The room, hot tub and amazing views made up for these tiny issues so would definitely recommend for an affordable stay in Santorini.

Superb sunset view ! We enjoyed taking photos of the view in front of the stay. It was spacious and well equipped with coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer etc. They even served us with welcome drink at the reception and also fruits in the room. The hot tub and breakfast was a plus point to us. The receptionist was helpful and helped us with restaurant reservation. We managed to rent car from the help of the receptionist as well. But one of the cars are old and not in good condition.

The shower space has no curtain nor glass to block the water from splashing out . So every time after shower the bathroom floor will be wet.

The room was large and had incredible views of the Santorini caldera on two sides. The hot tub was large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

The walk to Fira was longer than I had expected. It took us 90 minutes. Be warned that the walking times given by Google Maps and by signs on the caldera footpath all need to be increased by 50-100% if you plan to take photos. And who doesn't? Of course, this is not the hotel's fault. But Gizis is north of Imerovigli, so you should factor in extra walking time. That being said, the walk to Oia is shorter than the walk from Imerovigli or Fira.

We are not hikers or 1 to 2 hour walkers, so location was not short walking distance to any amenities even though it's on a walking path. We ended up renting a car as cabs to the closest restaurant were 20€ each way, and local buses were very limited. Hot tub was not hot enough, more of a jetted dipping pool. Maybe it was just our unit.

The view is amazing, the mail pon we chose was very private with the hot tub , the bar is very close and the bar tender Andreas is awesome, Katherina was amazing at reception, the minute you get there makes you feel like family, we been around to many hotels and resorts and really this people were unique. I will return just for the staff, have to say too even though Santorum it’s so crowded this place felt very private and off the crazy beaten path.

Nothing

1. The view is amazing from every aspect of the hotel, literally everywhere gives the best, quietest sunset views 2. The rooms are very clean well presented. 3. Breakfasts are amazing (Especially accompanied with the view of the Caldera on a morning) 4. Pool and Pool Bar area is well maintained and clean and have THAT amazing view. 5. The staff are incredibly friendly and are more than willing to help you with booking restaurant reservations, transfers, etc. 6. You can actually see the sunrise on the other side of the island if you get up early enough and I'd 100% recommend you do that. 7. The hotel is located next to the cliff trail from Fira to Oia, make sure you have some trainers and a backpack and get up bright and early (as the temperatures are lovely and cool and it's peacefully quiet) and take in the beautiful scenery and Greek culture along the way. (On the note of transfers, MAKE SURE ASK FOR CHRISTOS FOR YOUR TRANSFERS!! I cannot stress that enough. He really looked after us, a really friendly guy, he gave us the best suggestions for restaurants and bars around Oia and Fira, dropped us at the locations and picked us up, no problems and no questions asked, just unbelievably reliable. Even when we went to Mykonos for a few days he gave us the best suggestions for places to go. He always made himself available to transfer you to where you needed to be and at the time you need.)

Only really minor things to be honest. 1. I had booked a double room and was given a twin room. The staff informed me you need to state what you'd prefer, that information wasn't on Booking.com. We were eventually put in a double room having made the staff aware of the booking. 2. The bed in our double room had not been checked properly as the slats were not arranged properly causing the mattress to sink in the middle. This isn't the end of the world and I'm not going to go all Karen about it, more constructive criticism, but when you're paying a lot of money for a hotel you don't expect to be doing things like fixing your own bed. Just to stress, these things would not deter us from going back.

Exceptional Stay in Gizis Exclusive and Trip to Santorini. The Staff went above and beyond to the highest standards great personality’s and communication from day 1 and lovely friendly warm personality’s that made you feel welcome. The View of the Caldera from Hotel in general and location was outstanding the best on the island in my opinion and i travelled all over. Wakening up every morning to that view was something special and then even better the variety on offer for Breakfast Fantastic!! the views….the vibe….was a great way to kickstart your day.

The Shower Facilities and the small damp Bathroom, however if I’m honest i could put up with that and live with it for all the other positives! Wouldn’t have changed the room.

We stayed at Gizis Exclusive Hotel in Santorini in September 2022 for our son's wedding which took place at the nearby Rocabella Hotel. Our party of 5 people staying here had requested rooms close together which they accommodated very well. A special mention to Anthi who looked after us at the pool bar and for breakfast each morning as nothing was ever a problem and we felt very welcome guests in this lovely hotel. We had one day when we went out walking to explore the local area and returned to the hotel quite tired and not wanting to walk any further to get an evening meal. Anthi cooked us all some snacks at the pool bar which we all enjoyed very much. Another special mention to Sotirios who was always on hand to ensure we had a most enjoyable stay. We will definitely return to Santorini and stay at Gizis Exclusive Hotel.

There is very little I can say here as we were well looked after during our stay. The only slight problem could be if you are not able to walk too far as local restaurants require some walking on the coastal path which is quite uneven and hilly. Returning to your hotel in the dark after a few drinks could be a problem.

the hotel definitely delighted our trip in santorini. the location is very convenient with bus stop nearby. rooms are spotless and well-equipped facilities. breakfast is buffet with different varieties everyday. the best is homey atmosphere, very friendly staffs and amazing unforgetable caldera sunset view. thanks for all the care during our stay.
