Super comfortable, excellent location. Free shuttle to airport for Bonvoy members. Restaurant in the hotel was very good for dinner and the breakfast was delicious

This was a very professional hotel, perfect for a business meeting. It is close to the airport and all the facilities you need for a short stay are available. The staff was very friendly and very professional as well and the room was clean. The hotel was perfect for a short stay close to the airport.

the location isnt exactly suited for a longer vacation. It was nice for a night though. Also, the bathroom was just a glas cubicle that offered no privacy whatsoever, even though the glass was opaque. You could still hear (and smell) everything. One last thing that irked me: They left the TV on for our arrival and it was blasting ads when we came in. It was supposed to be a welcome I guess, but the TV was way too loud and really bothered me. I could hear the TV from the room next to ours blasting the same ads for hours on end. I would really have preferred a quiet welcome.

Given that it is a hotel nearby the airport it is surprising that there is no airport shuttle. Breakfast was as of 6am while other hotels offer as of 4am (given that there is a lot of flights at 7am).

The room was great and very spacious. The room was clean and fresh. It is very close to the airport so that is a huge plus. However, they do not offer a shuttle to the airport (I imagined it would have due to the close distance). I had to ask reception to call for our taxi to get to the airport, which was like a 5 min drive. I would stay here again, it was worth the money for the value.

The only thing I'd mention is that the guy at front desk was a bit sarcastic and he seemed to think he was a funny man. Something we didn't appreciate. He didn't seem to believe me when I said the booking was under my name and sarcastically asked my husband for his name to check the reservation, as he couldn't find my room confirmation. This happened because days before, I had let them know we would be doing a late check-in, and he had forgotten that he had already checked us in earlier the same day and our confirmation was on a different pile of papers. He was never rude, just the sarcasm and "funny guy type of attitude" did not fly with us.

The hotel was new and modern, very clean, great ambience. Our room was very comfortable and roomy. The bar and restaurant were good. Very convenient to the airport. Free shuttle to your terminal.

We could not get on the wifi. The receptionist enrolled us in the Marriott club so we could access the wifi for free. When we tried to connect to the Marriott Wi-Fi the sign in page would not recognize our room number or last name. When I tried to sign up myself in the Marriott club page so we could access the wifi I was asked for my postal code but here was no option to enter our postal code. Tried numerous times and finally gave up.

This was my 9th stay here. From the warm welcome to the sparking clean room, everything was perfect as usual. After so many stays I think the only thing that would need to be fixed is the shower flooding the bathroom floor but some rooms are better for that than others. I also would like to thank the employee who was there on our last night (10th of September), we had a very early flight and went to bed early but we had an issue with a family that decided to use the landing and corridors as an extension of their room, talking and laughing loudly, kids running up and down the corridors. Absolute nightmare. Asked them to keep it quiet because I was trying to sleep and they told me they don't care. How delightful. I called reception straight away and the family went back to their room (or to the lounge, as they should) 5 minutes later. So big thank you, we managed to get a good few hours of sleep after that. We will be back again.

Clean and modern rooms, staff was excellent during late check-in. We stayed here on our last night in Iceland to allow minimal travel time to the airport in the morning. Parking lot was easily accessible and conveniently has a gas station there to fill up before returning the rental car.

Breakfast wasn't included but wouldn't have started early enough for us to make our flight The quoted price seemed to be on the higher end of what we'd experienced during our trip, but not excessive. We were here for less than 8 hours, not long enough to have any issues come up.

Very clean hotel. Nice big room. Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff when checking in. Very close to airport with food choices and a supermarket nearby. Good views from upper floors of the volcanic Icelandic landscape and planes landing at Keflavik, (if you like that sort of thing...)

Disappointed as I left a travel adapter plugged in the room after check-out. I realised a few hours later and called to ask them to check the room, (as I could pick it up when returning to the airport a few days later). They said they would, but then never called back or e-mailed. As it was only a minor, cheap item, I wasn't that bothered but it just felt that, once your status as a paying guest was over they effectively didn't care...

I ran into a problem which was resolved but was unsettling. I booked months in advance for two nights, paid, etc. On the second night, when I returned from an evening out, my card key didn't work. I went to the Front Desk and was told that I was "not in the system." I was upset. All my belongings were of course in the room and I wondered if they had checked me out and removed them. The desk person asked for my i.d., left for about 10 minutes. I waited, exhausted from jet lag; all I wanted to do was to go to bed. When she came back, she showed me a photo on her phone of my room and belongings, and asked if these were mine: they were. She programmed the card key so that it would now open the door. Although pleasant enough interaction, the incident shook me up.

What makes an hotel great instead of just fine, is the staff. We stayed for one single night on the 31.03.2024 and met the most friendly and openmined staff that made the difftence. When the restaurant team heard that I am a vegetarian they thought about a way to create a dish especially for me. The waitress spoke with the chef and he came to speak with me with a huge smile and willingness. I ate the most delicious Pasta that evening. The hotel is located comfortably 4 minutes drive from the airport and car rental companies. There is a gas station right next to it and free parking. Great to start or finish the vacation in Iceland.. It was clean and comfortable. Thank you team Courtyard Hotel Keflavik!
