My lack of sophistication when it came to booking meant that I didn't realize what type of property this was. There is no lobby or receptionist. We were obliged to leave our cruise ship by 8am but the room wasn't available until 2pm (although the lovely cleaning lady kindly offered to clean it by noon). The weather was cold and wet; we had assumed we could sit in a lobby and wait, since this place also offers no suitcase storage. The only possibility was an outdoor area. Fortunately, there was a hotel nearby in which we could sit and wait. There is no dining room or communal space so the breakfast of a yogurt, a granola bar and an apple per person was in the room and was perfectly adequate. I expect younger and more efficient users of the internet would understand the limitations, but we didn't until we got an email the day before arriving, in which we were given a code to allow us to get into the room. I was running out of minutes on the cruise ship and almost didn't see it, which would have been disastrous (my husband doesn't use a mobile phone, so any communication has to be to me). There must surely be people even older than we are, or who choose not to have a cell, who would not be able to cope with this system. Maybe it is popular, but we had never seen it before. However, the room, once we cracked the system, was clean and pleasant, with abundant hot water for the shower and we were generally perfectly satisfied with it.

This micro apartment (bed, sofa, desk, frigde and bathroom) is only ten minutes away from Keflavik Airport. Parking on the street is free, which is very convienient. The room itself is clean and spacious enough for two people. Little perks like quality tea, free fruit/yogurt/cereal bars every day are a highlight.
When taking a shower (or someone in the neighbouring room) the water pump is quite loud. The washing machine next door can also be heard.

It was very clean and cozy. The bathroom had a heated floor, and it was excellent. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We had some free snacks left for us and they were amazing, coffee and tea also. The bed was big and very comfy. The design of the room was modern and it looked very clean and well kept.
The room and bathroom were a bit dark. That was not an issue for us, but it would be good to have a bit more light.

We have stayed her several times when visiting friends in Keflavik. The location is excellent, the rooms are fantastic, and the ease of self check-in is much appreciated.
The price is a lot for a one night stay. Although the rooms are great, and the small breakfast items in the fridge are wonderful; the cost per night is almost the equivalent of staying in downtown Reykjavik for a night at a full functioning hotel with dining hall and a hot tub,

Although called Micro Suite, the room was a good size though there was a lot of furniture in the space. My husband loved the bed, as the head of the bed could be raised, so a BIG bonus for him traveling, as have one at home. The location is great for getting to Keflavík airport, especially for an early morning flight. However, as it is self check in and there are no staff on sight, we did go to Park Inn hotel nearby to order us a taxi in the morning so not an issue. There are a few places to eat within walking distance from the Suites. Juice, yogurt, water and tea and coffee were provided which was a welcome provision. Would recommend to anyone flying from the airport.
Unless you have a European plug there was no outlet to charge phones or iPads. However, one of the local stores did have a European plug with USB ports that we purchased. So would have been useful to have at least one outlet with a USB outlet. One of the windows by the bed did not close. Fortunately the street was not too busy during the night. The curtains could have been more generous in width, as hard to close fully and block out the evening light.

Clean room with ensuite near airport. Continental breakfast with locally produced yoghurt, fruit and orange juice included. Parking available nearby. Best to hire a car and drive to Reykjavik rather than taking local buses but ensure you leave an hour to get there minimum. I enjoyed staying at KEF
How wet the bathroom floor got because the shower curtain is too short. This could be solved by having a rubber squidgee on hand so excess water can be wiped into the drain and or changing placement of shower curtain rail.

On the way to airport, we didn't want to drive in the morning so decided to stay somewhere near. We didn't want to think about check in time, just enjoy Reykjavik and go and sleep. Best place for that; received the instructions on the mail, smooth entrance; all good. Thanks for the small snacks for breakfast we were not expecting anything.
Whole night that was a heavy rain and storm, we noticed that some water is leaking under the door. Not big deal, and rain was very heavy yet an issue.

Clean and with everything you need for a quick morning, coffee and snack, and out the door! An acceptable option for a short overnight before or after the airport.
Micro is the right word! Super tiny bedroom and bathroom. I wouldn’t want to be there for more than one night. You check yourself in and out, I’m not sure if there is any staff on site to help you if you have issues. But we didn’t encounter any. It doesn’t seem to be located within walking distance of anything useful or worth visiting. You will probably need a cab or a car to get anywhere.

We stayed in apartment 201 and it was much more spacious than we were expecting. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom was large, clean and recently refurbished — a nice standard. The complementary snacks were appreciated, as we were departing for an early flight. It was easy to find a carpark.
The only thing that might bother some guests is the lack of a heavy curtain or drape over the window. It wasn’t quick possible to create a darkened room. However, this didn’t bother us and we sleep comfortably and soundly.

The granola bars and yogurt were very nice. Location convenient to town. Can walk everywhere. The room was clean and the shower was wonderful. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were great.
The bathroom door was of the barn door type. There was a slight opening that made the bathroom not very private. Any sounds made in the bathroom were easily heard throughout the room. The gap in the door allowed a view into the shower. Not a problem if you are intimate with your traveling companion.
