Everything. Location was great and can walk to everything. Main bus terminal is a 20 minute relaxed walk. There are supermarkets not even 5 minute walk. Rooms were clean & the bed was the comfiest I have slept in. Couldn’t hear noise from neighbouring rooms. Shower was 10/10. Tv with English channels (if you’re into that sort of thing) Breakfast was great, plenty of options, bar was good for drinks (we didn’t eat in the restaurant for dinner but looked cosy and really nice) Staff were so friendly. Got hot drinks and pastries ready for us as they knew we were checking out at 5:30am so would miss breakfast service. They have a service where you can ask them to wake you up in the night if they see the auroras over the town, so you don’t miss it while sleeping. Near reception there is a free Iceland guidebook with has maps and vouchers inside for restaurants & things to do.

This is a fantastic hotel in the perfect location in Reykjavik. It is situated at one end of Laugavegur Road, the main street in the city, it is also a short distance to walk to Hlemmur bus stop (easy bus ride to Sky Lagoon) and it is right next to Bus Stop 9 (for activity pickups / drop offs). The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. A decent breakfast is included. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again next time I visit Reykjavik.

Amazing hotel just a stone's throw from the city centre. The staff have all been so friendly and polite too. The room was a superior double and was just perfect. Had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a perfect shower and huge bath, very modern TV with plenty of UK TV channels. The bus stop #9 is right outside the hotel which makes it very easy to get on tours and local busses. 10/10 definitely will stay here again when we're next in Iceland

The breakfast selection was very limited considering this is a 4-star hotel. Would have been nice to have bacon, sausage and fried eggs as well as a wider cereal selection. Having said that, the staff and food that was available was perfect.

Nice, clean hotel right in the center of the city. It is located in a popular shopping street where you could do your souvenir shopping. The hotel also has private parking, which you can request at the reception. The breakfast was nice, enough to get you fueled up for an exciting day of exploration.

I run a travel company and send groups to Iceland every year I've been to Iceland many times and stayed at various hotels in Reykjavik for a night or two. I look for good location and good value. I was very happy with the Laugavegur hotel. The room size was great, the beds very comfortable and a BIG bonus was that the Superior room had a bathtub and really nice bath products. I will definitely reccomed this hotel in the future!

The only small thing - we purchased room plus breakfast, but had to depart before 7am for out flight. We were offered only coffee and a small croissant. It would have been great to have received a slightly better to go breakfast.

Centers hotel met all of our needs. Right downtown with short walks to all the best spots. The price was affordable for Iceland and the breakfast was the shining star!

Excellent location for exploring Reykjavik on foot, clean and spacious room, comfortable bed and linen, very good breakfast. Bus stop number 9 to the airport and tours pick up right in front of the hotel, public buses 2-3 minutes walk away, very convenient! Lots of restaurants, shops, galleries right next door, Bonus supermarket 5 minutes walk.

Insufficient lighting in the room, very dark, difficult to read or find anything, especially on dark winter days. Good thing we had a torch with us. No hooks on the wall to hang winter jackets. Only 2 TV channels were available, others would not load, as well as the hotel info channel. Despite these minor inconveniences I would definitely stay there in the future!

The hotel was in the center of Reykjavik, right in front of bus stop 9. So it was really easy to walk and explore the shops around town. Being in front of bus stop 9 was a plus since most tour buses stop there. The hotel was very clean and elegant, and the staff was nice. Our room had a balcony, but the view was just the back of houses. You can somewhat see the sea, though. We showed up a little earlier than check-in time, and they accommodated us. We checked out and were able to store our luggage until we had to leave for our flight.

The breakfast could have been a bit more varied. The mugs were rather small, and I had to refill them several times for my caffeine fix.

Good location, clean room

Bathroom door was a slide door which left quite good gaps, ventilation did not work and the door left quite large gaps. The drain had a bad smell so all the smells from the bathroom were getting into the room.

Nice hotel in a great location 24 hour supermarket across the road, Food Hall located across the street too. Lots of food options close by. Main bus routes also in front of the hotel The hotel reception check in was friendly and great. On a solo business trip and the size of the room was adequate. Would I rebook this hotel in the future. Yes, it's a nice hotel, just one or two little things let me down when I compare it to other 4 Star Hotels I have stayed in.

Shower in room was not the best the water was spraying everywhere. Duvet blanket was basic and I had to use x2 as it was cold just using the one. I was booked into 206 which directly overlooked the main street/junction so had to keep curtains closed throughout for privacy (they may have been privacy windows but no one told me this) Breakfast was ok but no fried options for vegetarians such as hash browns. No desk in the room. When I asked the reception to book a taxi, it took nearly 40 minutes to arrive.i don't feel they were pro active in chasing the driver or taxi company up. I had to keep asking. I was nearly late for my conference. I understand they are not the taxi company but nevertheless.
