I had a wonderful experience staying at The Lalit Ashok. The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options. If you're looking to experience true Indian hospitality, this is the place! I highly recommend their OKO Restaurant, where the Thai food was exceptional. The restaurant has a serene and green garden setting, which adds to the peaceful ambiance—something rare to find in the heart of Bangalore. Overall, a great value for money. Would definitely stay again!

Honestly, I didn't find anything to dislike during my stay at The Lalit Ashok. Everything, from the service to the amenities, was well taken care of. I truly had a pleasant and satisfying experience.

First and foremost I would like to mention the Greeting guard (Who is popularly known as the moochwala). I appreciate and appraise him for his politeness and ability to connect with customers. I spent most of the time in the reception/lobby area. All the staff are well trained and polite and do not give any wrong information. I would also like to mention the hotel management trainees working at the reception. They were humble and attentive. Overall my experience especially with the staff was astonishing. Also, the food I had ordered in the ground floor bar was phenomenal and so was the service.

Most of the facilities like the elevators and rooms have turned pretty old now and need renovation/replacement. But they have been maintained well nonetheless. And almost every guest who had arrived in a two wheeler was complaining about the parking (including me). If these things are renovated properly I would have no complaints. Another thing they could improve upon is soundproofing of the bars and pubs in order to maintain noise levels across the hotel while hosting robust parties.

The 24/7 restaurant buffet was wonderful with friendly staff. We also really enjoyed the couples massage that we had twice! The gym was available and well maintained. The location was quick to everything we needed, and using the Uber app, we were able to get around quite independently. The swimming pool was clean and very refreshing after a day out exploring the city. One evening, we enjoyed the Oko restaurant, and although we ordered way too much food, we both enjoyed the flavours and service. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The only issue with this hotel is the steps between the foyer and the lounge area in the foyer. The tiles are very slippery and similarly coloured, and after a long flight, my husband had quite a nasty fall as he didn't see the steps. We also watched a couple of other people do the same.

The staff was all incredibly kind and offered exceptional service. The grounds of the hotel are pristinely maintained. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a multitude of delicious options.

The rooftop club, which perhaps is under different management from the hotel, was very disorganized. The drinks were low quality but priced as if they were top shelf.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very good. The breakfast was varied and excellent value. Catching an auto from just outside the hotel was very easy.

Aspects of cleanliness could have been better. We were only given some advice on sightseeing on our very last day.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive to my every need. One in particular, Aparna on reception, went the extra mile to assist me in booking my rail tickets for my trip to Mysore. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have experienced in India.

My bedroom, whilst comfortable and clean, felt rather dated and didn’t really have the “feel” of a 5* hotel.

I think the property is getting old n needs upgrades in toilets doors windows .curtains😎 nothing to panic ..but should be looked into soon ..

I really like the hotel, The setting was quiet and comfortable. The staff in the restaurant and bar were friendly and accommodating.

There was a lot of noise coming from the Ball/Meeting room with breakdown and a lot of clanging of dishes. this went well into the 8pm hour which was a very distracting.

Location is quite good. It was over prized

Prizes for Corporates are too high. I was charged almost 1.5 times more. I paid close to 11500/- just for a night which is quite costly as compared to other properties of your repute

eversthing was fine. All fcilites are working and in a goor condition, even the hotel is already that old. thats a very good sign. The allover Staff is friendly and helpfull all the time. Thats why i cam back again.
