Room looks like a room in a king palace. Location is also great

The breakfast menu is limited. Breakfast restaurant is located in the small dark room, not comfortable to enjoy breakfast

The hotel is comfortable and in a good location for those who want to experience sunsets on Marine Drive. It has a few good restaurants and cafes close by, too. Staff are friendly and professional.

The hotel is a little old and some maintenance issues are visible (e.g., we had some tape in our bathtub to cover a crack). The panel which was meant to control the air-conditioning also didn't work and there was no housekeeping despite the request which required us to call reception twice to get water and towels. Hotel would benefit from a small gym to justify the price point.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was fresh and the eggs cooked to order were great. Room was clean and tidy and serviced everyday. Lots of great restaurants nearby and you could watch the sunset down on the sea wall. The rooms were a good size.

The hot water didn't work very well before 7am and was patchy throughout the day, lucky it's hot there. The beds were old and too firm, the walls could do with a wipe down.

My 2 kids and I enjoyed our stay! They brought us an extra bed and reacted to every request in a very short space of time. They were always polite and friendly. A pleasant, clean, classic hotel in a great location. Great authentic Asian, Italian restaurant, plus pizzeria and ice cream parlor in very close proximity to hotel. Marine drive promenade where locals jog, exercise, practice yoga, and pray. Just suppurb! Do read the fine print as the price highlighted doesn't show taxes, etc.. got charged an additional 5000 rupees at check-in. Otherwise all great!

The hidden charges

Very good vintage and wooden furniture. Very spacious rooms and living space. The view from the 4th Floor was great of Nariman Point. A silent ambience very good when you travel on work. The hotel is very few assets from how Mumbai felt about 25 to 30 years back. They have maintained the common areas. You can call guests and make them comfortable at the hotel. The restaurants al carte dishes are delicious. The pillows and blankets are good. The in room cups and tea selections are also good.

the wardrobes are old fashioned so advise is to lock your suitcase or zip your bag before you leave as some wooden smell may evaporate within your dress and clothes.

had eggs every morning as no other hot food for English taste. Would be good if you offered bacon, etc, just a few more things that would make up a true English breakfast. Very good selection of diff foods and fruit, just lacked the English/American touch.

All staff were very good,at breakfast they made me fried eggs each day a brought to my table

Check-in : The team was warm and addressed us by name, which was surprising. Checknin was less than 2 minutes, and we were alloted our room. Restaurants: Both restaurants served great food, I especially loved the continental cuisine. Chef has tge original recipes and food was outstanding. Housekeeping: Spot on, professional and attentive staff, clean and meticulous. Hospitality: From the Managers to the service staff, all made us so comfortable and were very accommodative to our requirements. I truly enjoyed the stay and will certainly return in the future.

The place is a bit worn out. The older rooms need to be upgraded on priority, similar to the 5th floor.

Came back to the hotel after 20 years and had the same great service. All the staff from the doorman to the desk manager were really kind and helpful. They all really made us feel at home and each time coming back to the hotel felt like coming back home. Room was very comfortable and clean, and room service excellent. Food at the resto was simply yummy,and I guess I will have a few kilos more when I leave! Looking forward to coming back soon. Keep up with the good service.

Was a bit sad that the revolving tower was under maintenance. But looking forward to enjoy it on our next visit.

An excellent spread of choices; and if you wanted something that was not available, they are quick to accommodate your requests (within reason). The Front Office Manager Mr. Dipen Sharma was very kind & helpful, not just during check-in, but also during the rest of the days we were there, and we certainly enjoyed our chats even though they were shorts Hats off also to Mr. John Dsouza at Society Bar (lobby level), Mr. John is a wonderful man and we quite enjoyed our conversations with him. His detail to service is exceptional.
