The AC isn’t bad but when I’m sleeping I wake up midnight sweating because it heats up.

The Indian restaurant in the hotel on floor 1. The waiter didn't warn us we had ordered too much food for two of us and had to give the food away as we ordered too much. Waste of £150! The food was great especially the mains but we ordered way to much and wasn't warned by the lady serving us which is poor service. The lady waiter was caught gossiping about us when we complained about the food we had ordered and she should have notified us it would have been too much for two people.

We arrived in Mumbai in the middle of the night and from the moment we were met by the Oberoi driver we were made to feel at home. A member of staff greeted us straight from the car and handled check in inside our room so we could be comfortable. The room had been decorated for my husband’s birthday which was a nice touch. The service during our entire stay was impeccable. From the staff servicing our rooms, the waitstaff in the champagne bar and Eau bar, the baggage/driver staff, the concierge, and the pool staff, everyone was superb and couldn’t have made more of an effort to make our stay more comfortable. We have since travelled to a different city in India which doesn’t have an Oberoi and the difference in service is stark. The Oberoi is best in class.

I can’t think of anything

The room was well appointed, although a little smaller than I expected, but very comfortable with pillow options and good blackout curtains. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with a great choice of local and western options, plus a buffet for fruit and pastries. We had a wonderful waiter called Jason who made our mornings extra special with his recommendations and excellent service. The doormen were also fantastic, always courteous and helpful when our Uber went to the wrong pick up! We loved the location of the hotel as it was less frantic then other places and very peaceful, it's also great to walk along Marine Drive in the evenings and people watch. We had a great stay!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. Sometimes it took a little longer when breakfast was busy, but just plan ahead if you are in a rush. Just a hint to housekeeping to clean under the bed as it was a bit dusty.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and attended to my every need with genuine care and professionalism. **Location:** The hotel is perfectly located in next to Trident Hotel near the beach, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. **Rooms:** My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities, a comfortable bed. It was a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. **Service:** The service was outstanding. As I requested for a welcome to India treat and it was added without any additional charges plus the extra touches of having a welcome dessert and daily fresh fruits. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. **Amenities:** The hotel offers fantastic amenities, including pool, spa, gym, and restaurants, all of which added to the overall experience. **Food:** I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel restaurants and the food was delicious. Places like The Oberoi at Nariman Point should not have to be bothered with ratings and reviews because every aspect of the hotel is so exceptional, near perfection, that even this brief review is meaningless in the grander scheme of things. And yet, I will take this time to say that every staff member--every one of them--makes a guest at The Oberoi feel as if they were the only person there. From the breakfast chef and towel supplier, to the gym assistant and front desk, every person has been trained with the utmost in civility, generosity, and kindness. And of course the rooms and services provided are unmatched. This is why I stay at The Oberoi when I can because it is an experience unlike any other in hotels--they show all hotel brands throughout the world the exacting yet effortless standard to which everyone should strive. And us mere mortals are forced to enjoy, gain peace, and be fulfilled at every turn. Thank you Oberoi for all that you do.

Exceptional hotel with amazing staff the friendliest and helpful people ever ! Our room was massive and had the best sea view - t’s the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in . The best breakfast options ( perfect for me as I’m fussy with my food ! and most delicious I’ve tasted. It’s the best hotel in the area for sure. Great little gym and a pool - it’s perfect for a short break. Incredible foyer with choices of restaurants in the hotel and the staff could do not do enough for us. Kind and caring people who love to see you happy and will spend time getting to know you. We will be back for sure

The courtesy. As we celebrated our wedding anniversary, we were offered beautiful complimentary cakes, decoration in our room, and bottle of wine. It was a pleasant surprise and felt really special. Sachin was very kind in receiving us and making our anniversary memorable. The housekeeping team was very warm. The cleanliness is exceptionally. Chinna's smile and speed are very outstanding. Karveel at the entrance was really kind in helping with taxis, and they all warmly welcome you at the entrance. Breakfast was nice,very warm staff there too. Joshua stood out for us at the dining. Generally, it was a very beautiful stay. I would stay there again.

We visited The Oberoi, Bombay, to celebrate our 25th anniversary in January 2024. It turned out that The Oberoi clearly exceeded our already high expectations. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Harleen, whose warm and friendly behavior made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Her attentiveness and genuine kindness were constant throughout our stay. We also were very surprised to find a wonderful chocolate cake in our room on the occasion of our anniversary. Besides the great location and wonderful design of this hotel, the entire staff at this wonderful hotel was very friendly and attentive. We especially want to mention Sous Chef Richard, who accompanied us culinarily throughout our stay and continually surprised us with unexpected delicacies. Unfortunately, we missed the Saturday brunch. We hope we will soon have the opportunity to make up for it. This hotel is one of the few 5-star hotels that, alongside luxury and quality, manages to convey a family atmosphere where one spontaneously feels at ease. We are sure when we return, it will feel a bit like "coming home". We are already looking forward to it and thank The Oberoi Team for its hospitality. Oliver and Nicole
