This property exceeded my expectations. It’s important to remember it’s a 2 star hotel so I was not fazed by the small hiccups/maintenance issues that I experienced. The rooms are spacious, and clean. The bed was super comfortable (pillows not so- would take my own next time). Staff are amazing and the view from the restaurant that is positioned absolute beach is incredible. The other guests were all so lovely and it all contributes to a lovely vibe. I found the rubbish in the beach off putting but loved watching the fisherman come in and out in their boats. Their children playing in the water was gorgeous too. This is a hotel I would return to if I just want to relax and destress.

Honestly nothing is a deal breaker. It is a little walk to the Main Street. Power went out a couple of times but was quickly fixed. Small maintenance issues like the the bolt to the bathroom door was stuck so you couldn’t close properly. The air con cord runs through your bathroom in an ugly manner with an inelegant hole. Didn’t really love the food at the restaurant. I found the curtains in the room insufficient making it too light for me to sleep but rectified by putting towel over the window - my brothers didn’t find it an issue.

The staff and young boy working in the restaurant were lovely. It was nice for the boy to practice his English . They organized a good scooter for us and a snorkeling trip to the blue lagoon which was awesome. The room was comfortable , the pillow was too thick but staff were quick to change it when I asked. They have umbrella available if its raining. The breakfast was good.

The male staff at reception could take a lesson in politeness/friendliness from the boy who works in the restaurant..we had mojitos which were terrible, they tasted like water, the staff topped them up with Rum, but they still tasted like water. ( I'd question what was in the bacardi bottle)..there was also a high step up to the toilet in our ensuite, which could catch you out.

It was located on the beach, and the dining area faced the beach. It also had a swimming pool so you had options. There is an upstairs patio, which was nice to do morning yoga to greet the day. Ask reception for a yoga mat. Staff are very responsive and happy. The gardens are well kept, lush, and green. It was relaxing just to sit there and get visits from birds, butterflies, and dragonflies.

There's rising damp in room. Given the rain and humidity (January stay), if you are sensitive you need to be aware of this. Aircon on and leave door open can encourage circulation to make stay more pleasant.

Our initial room was bare bones. Once we upgraded to a bungalow, we were much more comfortable. The bungalow had a kettle and coffee/tea, a TV, better/newer air conditioning and didnʻt require moving luggage up the stairs.

The barebones room was clean but not particularly comfortable.

I booked this place after reading some great reviews on booking.com. Then the day before was googling it and found some rather bad reviews that concerned me, after reading them I want to cancel but it was too late….. and I am pleased I couldn’t ! I stayed in the deluxe family room with my husband, 4 year old and 6 month old and we had a Fabulous stay. This place is excellent value for money and as far as I can tell they have addressed any feedback head on. The WiFi was great, beds comfortable, the road to the main area lit (although if you are older aspecting a smooth pavement then you may struggle). The views are great, the staff super friendly and they really do try to offer a lot to their guests. We had plenty of drinking water in the room, the breakfast was simple but good, the pool clean and refreshing and did I mention the views already! All in all for the price you pay you would be mad not to stay. Thank you for a great week!

The first night we had an issue with the air conditioner, tbh this could have been user error but what ever it was made for a hot and uncomfortable night sleep. This was addressed the next day and we didn’t have the same problem again. The drains sometimes had a bad smell but that’s just Bali and if I was being uber critical the pillows were too big for my liking.

I am so happy to have found this pocket paradise. My stay here was perfect in every way. Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. They made me feel like part of the family. The location is wonderfully peaceful. You can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves washing up on the small, but lovely beach, which you can access directly in front of the accommodation. The pool is also a great option. It is very clean and there are plenty of seating and sunbathing options to choose from. The restaurant is in a great location overlooking the water and the food in the restaurant is very (very very) good with a lot of options to suit any palate. I treated myself to the biggest room on offer and I was beyond happy that I did. My room was huge, so was the bathroom. There was also a very large balcony area attached. All were kept spotless. The room bar fridge was lovely and cold. Perhaps this is not important to some people, but I love my water icy cold. Your host can also arrange boat hire for 2 or more hours for fishing or snorkelling at the nearby rock islands. I can certainly understand why people return to stay here every time they come to Bali. I will now be one of those people.

Lovely room, we booked the one bedroom apartment with sea view - 4 poster bed, comfortable lounge and chair, day bed and desk. View was only partial of the sea as elevated yoga area interrupted it, but still a good view of the sea. Staff were lovely especially in the restaurant - included breakfast was small but other options available and all meals and drinks were good. Snorkeling off the beach was easy and we found a good selection of colourful fish and some coral. Suggest reef shoes for the rough sand.

Only problem we had was very slippery tiles in the wet room shower. We bought a couple of cheap mats in a local store and these made a huge difference.

The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was satisfactory, breakfast was quite good, staff were amazing, loved the balcony overlooking the sea and capturing the beautiful sea breezes, while the other balcony was great for drying the swim suits and towels. Pool was ok, nice and deep. The main feature was being able to sit in the restaurant, enjoy the wonderful papaya milkshakes, watch the passing parade of sea craft, while catching the heavenly sea breezes.

The bathroom was quite unsafe. The toilet was raised so you had to step down onto a lower level. As there was no shower screen, the floor was often wet and there were no railings or supports to grab if you did slip and only basic towels were provided. My travelling partner slipped and fell on the floor, suffering a very sore back and foot which has still not resolved. This was reported to the hotel staff. Further, the distance from the main road was too far for us to walk. This was not accurately portrayed in the descriptor of the property provided by the agent. However we were kindly given a lift by the hotel manager and later picked up by staff at one of the venues we visited. This was greatly appreciated.

The family room was 2 adjoining rooms which meant it was very spacious. The pool and restaurant area is fantastic. Menu was also well priced, if a bit bland (cocktails were great though!). Great to be able to take a boat out snorkelling from your doorstep!

The doors didn’t sit flush which unfortunately let in some mozzies. Not a deal breaking number but enough to wear repellent to bed. Do not use the laundry service, clothes came back with new stains, some items missing and it was 4 times the price of anywhere else we used.

This hotel was perfect for us. The gardens and pool area are beautiful, the pool was perfect temperature. The staff are brilliant, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Happy to help you organise trips, taxis, scooter hire etc. The breakfast was perfect, either pancakes, omelette or fried rice, with toast, fresh fruit salad and tea/coffee. Plenty to set you up for the day. The rest of the food was good too. There are a couple of places to eat along the road but it was only 5 mins walk out to the main road with lots of options for other restaurants along the walk into town. The rooms are clean, our bed was very comfy. Small fridge for keeping drinks cold. Ignore comments below about a cockroach, it's the same as trying to keep spiders out of an English home, it has no bearing on hygiene at all. Welcome to the jungle, there are insects! Bali has been shut for over 2 years, they can't make everything new again and they don't know what will break until it gets used again. Something like 80% of the population work in tourism so there is no money left. Our toilet flush broke but they fixed it immediately, you can't ask more than that.
