The staff in particular Arya his attention to detail and to make our stay memorable was exceptional. His infectious smile and energy made our stay as it was home. The junior staff no doubt have been trained and their observation of Aryas interaction with guests also gave us much pleasure. Breakfast was amazing the private pool villa was sensational. The shuttle back and forth into town was a bonus and gave us a feeling of security. Rooms made up everyday and turned down at night with mosquito burners on was those little things that made our stay sensational.

The resort manager might need some retraining on peoples skills both with his staff and his guests. Vaping and walking around with coffee in hand whilst at work behind the breakfast bar during breakfast showed he thought he was intitled and didn’t care. But not to engage at all with any guest not even to introduce himself or ask if all is ok was disappointing to say the least. Retrain or remove as you have staff working there that bent over backwards to make our stay the best experience and in observation other guests stay memorable. They deserve the position in management. If not for Arya and the staff I wouldn’t return.

This property is absolutely GORGEOUS! We loved our time here & would definitely come back. Rooms were clean and SMELLED clean, which we loved! New towels and room made up daily. They even had a turn down service. The staff goes ABOVE & beyond to ensure a perfect stay - honestly I’d give the staff 10 stars if I could. The manager checked in daily to see if there was anything he could do for us, to see if we had any complaints, needed anything booked for us (we did an ATV excursion the hotel booked for us), etc. They have a free shuttle to downtown Ubud & even took us to and from the gym. We had a floating breakfast, flower bath, and massage - all of which were incredible and a highlight of our trip. Our spa day, they put a cute heart flower on our bed for an extra touch. Favorite stay of the trip. The breakfast and restaurant were great, too! I could not recommend this resort more, it truly is a one of a kind experience. We will be back and I will be sending my clients here (I’m a travel agent).

The Luwak Resort is in very convenient location. The personnel is absolutely amazing, Ary is exceptional! We felt at home because of how well we were treated. The massage by P (sorry, forgot the name) was amazing, we had three sessions! The pool is long enough to enjoy a good swim. The bathroom is the best I’ve seen so far! Bed comfortable! Small shop nearby, town just 20 min walking away . The food at the restaurant was better than the one we had in town, the cook at Luwak is excellent! Thank you Luwak Estate team for giving us a wonderful time in Ubud !

It rained quite a bit

Everything was amazing, there are not enough words to describe how good this place was. It is a bit out of town but that gives the tranquility to enjoy your villa, (they have transportation to Ubud downtown in case you want to go, usually always available), the villa was beautiful, we had everything we needed and they offered even more in case you needed something, beds are comfy, towels are amazing!! ACS work perfectly, pool was always clean, they have everyday cleaning service, Bali is full of moskitos but in here they are prepared to fight them and the provided many things so we wouldn't have the hassle, breakfast in our case was included, they had a fruit bowl for our stay at the villa as well, and provide with drinking water. Our son got sick and they helped us to bring a doctor to assist him, we used their spa services amazing as well, they took care of our kids while taking breakfast so we could eat in calm, , service was great in all ways, everyone is happy and willing to help. We also book some tours with them and they were nice. One of my kids had his first birthday here and they happened to prepare a cake for him and sing happy birthday. Again, AMAZING stay with AMAZING staff!! Oh and the picked us up at the airport which made everything easier for us. If we are back to Ubud we will definitely stay here again, we loved it! Congratulations to the team!!!

Great size villa and aesthetic, lovely pool. All the rooms are large and have good facilities. The spa was great, I had a flower bath in my room which was Beautiful. The food from the restaurant was lovely and we had it in our villa which was great.

The Wi-Fi was quite bad and electricity dropped a few times

We stayed as a family of 6 with older teen and young adult children. Excellent location just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud but only a quick (complimentary) shuttle ride into the centre. Comfortable accommodation, well appointed, excellent private pool and free airport shuttle. The restaurant served the best Indonesian food we had in Ubud so give it a go - the free breakfast is excellent but lunch and dinner is exceptional.Main benefit is the staff,lead by Mr Arya, which are so helpful and so keen to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

You will read some reviews about recent building work nearby/ on the grounds but this didn’t impact on our stay particularly.

The hotel manager (Arya) was extremely friendly and made our stay very special! All staff were super friendly and kind and took very good care of us. In Luwak estate, you are treated as a special guest and not just one out of many guests. We were offered an amazing traditional dance performance over dinner which was very special. Location was about 20 or 25 minutes walk from the center. Walking could be tricky in some parts with no sidewalks, however, regular shuttles were provided to the center and back to hotel which was very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty but it's not a buffet which limits options/variety. We had a villa and so we had our own pool which was very nice. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and had all you need. Rooms are cleaned or tidied multiple times a day, basically every time you leave your room.! We had very good massages, a nice cooking class in our villa. In addition, they offer other tours in Bali. Really you have the whole package there. Would definitely come back

Nothing comes to mind. All was great and smooth. For longer stays, breakfast could feel repetitive especially if you have preferences and would repeat your order, but still good with fresh juice served and nice coffee.

We -family of four 4&8 years old- loved it. We had a two Villa private pool booking. Breakfast served in our own kitchen area by the pool. It could have not been more relaxing. Great views into lush greenery. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, great with the girls and arranging everything we needed. A day trip, a driver and looking after my husband while we were out :). We had dinner there every night and a massage every day. Suzanne was a fantastic masseuse. The bathroom with a bathtub sitting in a fishpond was a real winner with the kids. We didn’t want to leave.

We loved it, we didn’t care much about traffic noise.

Everything was exceptional, especially the team and their kind hospitality. Arya is truly amazing and took such great care of us! I would recommend taking advantage of the restaurant as much as possible as the food was absolutely delicious. ***** Arya, Komang thank you so much!!
