Everything!We had a lovely stay!!!Initially,we had another reservation somewhere else but we had to flee because the place was disgusting so it was a last minute reservation.Made at around 2 a.m. for the next day.Although they were almost fully booked and they allocated us on the first and second floor when we sent them that we were honeymooners and we wanted our rooms to be close to each other and to have double beds,they took our request into consideration and they satisfied it.That was not the only surprise.When we checked in our rooms were beautifully decorated for honeymooners and welcome fruit was offered too.They even apologised for the simplicity of the decoration!It was lovely!Nothing else was needed!The staff is out of this world!Kind-hearted,always helpful with a huge smile on their faces!!!On arrival we were offered a glass of mix juice -tastiest juice ever and on New Year Eve 4 mojitos were prepared for us!Not to mention the hours spent trying to find out what to do with our next stay.We could find no one and the staff tried to help us by calling and searching online to find contact details so as to talk with the reception of the other hotel.Finally we extended our stay in Yulia!!!Special thanks to Dwi and the other guy at reception the name of whom I can’t remember for making our stay remarkable!Great job guys!!!We can’t thank you enough!!!

The hotel had just started its renovations, so it was a shock to arrive and see what looked like a bomb/demolition site. To be fair, the rooms are set back from the part of hotel being renovated, so there was no major noise disturbance, but still I think the management should have warned guests first.

Breakfast was basic and fine for the cost. It’s a lovely little gem, hidden away in the middle of Monkey Forest Road, close to everything. The lobby has always been uninviting but the renovations have commenced so this will upgrade the property immensely.

The bed was a bit too hard for our liking. The smokers should be as far away from non-smokers as possible!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our accommodation was large, very comfy beds that was quiet and had a lovely garden. As we are seniors, the lighting in the room could be brighter otherwise we love the size of the walk in wardrobe and bathroom area. There is renovation at the front but didn’t bother us at all. Recommend this place if you like staying in a traditional Balinese bungalow and you want a central location to the markets and Monkey Forest.

The lighting in our room could be brighter as we are seniors. Also TV is limited to CNA because HBO channel was very poor quality. Otherwise not much to complain about.

It’s quiet, it’s away from the street, and it’s small and yet very nicely laid out especially around the pool

the front office has very little “street appeal”. Something needs to be done to make it more welcoming. It’s dark, the fountain is not working, and maybe something else should be placed there. But I think the resort would get more business from “walk-bys” if the front building was fixed up a bit

Location was perfect in the middle of Jl monkey forest and right near everything we wanted. Inka across the road was amazing. Gardens and pool area beautiful for a small boutique hotel. Breakfast was huge, beautifully presented and yummy. The room was a generous size and bathroom was good size for two people. Definitely stay again.

Pool was being maintained during our stay so did not have access. The weather was mild during our stay so not an issue.

This was my third stay at Yulia. Located right in the centre of Ubud, the hotel is within walking distance of Ubud Palace, Monkey Forest, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The grounds are beautifully maintained, as is the pool. The room, which was cleaned and replenished daily, was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and in excellent condition. Wi-Fi worked well in the room. Breakfast was generous in size and very yummy! Plenty of coffee for this addict! Best of all are the staff, who are all super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Dwi and Wayan for being so welcoming and making the stay so comfortable. Lastly, renovations are currently being done at the front of the hotel, but could not be heard from the room and did not impact on the stay in any way. I will definitely return.

Rooms were nice. We had the upstairs room, our friend was downstairs. First night after dinner we came home to the stink of room cat piss coming through the bathroom vent into our window. There was no spare room until the next night so we had to check out and find another room to sleep in at 10pm. We arrived back at lunchtime the next day to our new room. NO SMELL. Pleasant stay. Loved the pool, nice and warm. My favorite thing. Very quiet sleep too. And down a small alley out to shops was great. The pool was very warm and gardens are well kept. The location was quiet.

Cat pee smell, but it seems to be all over bali at the moment.

we stayed five nights and had the same high level of service every day. we will never forget the smiling faces and kind staff who made us feel at home. ALL the staff were amazing - ALL. we had meaningful conversations with the staff. I was ill one day and they went out of their way and did everything they could to help me; forever grateful. the staff was very attentive to our requests. it was joyful to see the staff working together as a team; they all did whatever is necessary to ensure the accommodations were clean and comfortable. breakfasts were quite good. beds were comfortable. water pressure excellent. we would definitely return to Yulia if we were in ubud again.

nothing really. (it might be a good idea to put “bowl of fruit” on the breakfast menu. as well knowing what services are available in the near vicinity would be helpful but we understand that after being closed for two years, many services have not resumed to full capacity.). all in all, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is one a busy main street so close to many restaurants, cafes and shops. Be cautious as if you have a car for a taxi it can get busy some days with traffic. I used Gojek so had no issues. The property is quite long and the rooms are towards the back of the property. My room was right at the back which was great as it was very peaceful especially with the water fountain. There was some construction going on at the front but it was totally fine to walk through, I did not hear any of the noise, maybe as I was at the back of the hotel.

The wifi reached my room but it was very average and not strong. It sufficed my needs.
