Staff were very accommodating, lovely people. Location was absolutely beautiful. They offer shampoo, bodywash and towels so won’t need to pack for those. Waking up to and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, so peaceful. Surf lessons, yoga and transport organised. Room service you have to order at reception for next day (breakfast) as it is not easy to access the Main Street unless you are up and down the stairs. One thing I felt super bad about was allowing them to carry my heavy luggage up and down the flight of 200 stairs. Kudo’s to them and very thankful. Suksma. Will definitely stay again. 🙏🏻

The flights of stairs were the only access. Unless tide was further out, you can access Padang Padang beach in about 1 minute walk. Mosquito net/wall was a little mouldy where the aircon was so I slept with my head at the other end of the bed, was fine though. Didn’t affect my stay.

The view from the balcony was amazing and the property was beachfront. You can hear the ocean while sleeping and during low tide, you can walk to Padang Padang Beach.

The stairs going up and down to the property - do not book this place if you have problems with climbing stairs. No wheelchair access. The room needs a bit of renovation.

The location is everything. Looking out from your balcony over the rocky shoreline with the crashing waves just below is a unique experience. The bed was comfortable. The room was small, but very cosy. The staff were very helpful and brilliant at carrying heavy bags up and down the steep steps.

The room is small and basic for the price. No restaurant on site (although the restaurant at the hotel next door is very good). It was lovely having breakfast provided on our balcony, but the food was basic and took a very long time to arrive. Monkeys will try to steal anything within reach. It is a long walk up to the car park if you want a taxi.

Amazing view and location! Right next to Padang Padang Beach, can walk too easily when low tide or just as it hits high. Beautiful beach. Felt like we were in paradise! A lot of stairs and not practical if not accessible for you. Staff very happy to help with luggage. Nice staff and cool accommodation theme. Loved listening to the waves at night.

Uncomfortable bed- extremely squeaky and wobbly. Aircon way too cold for tiny room. Small room which we saw before but not a lot of bang for buck- no breakfast included outdoor bathroom (smelt after a while) where as next door is cheaper and has breakfast included.

Views are stunning, I didn't mind the stairs that everyone complains about just pack light though 😅 And lock your doors! The monkeys robbed us! Lovely stay though

This little hotel, literally built on a cliff overlooking the sea is very charming. The room was small but gorgeous and a very comfortable bed. Something about hearing the sounds of the sea as you sleep perhaps (although loud!) helps. Nice touches were the bottled water and a fountain to refill in my room. Mini fridge to keep things cold. Not that I would have needed it but my room came with a small kitchen. It is also next to a beautiful secluded private beach. One of the most stunning views and super quiet as only surfers and the hotel guests really find themselves there. Great location for town etc. I did not eat or sample any food at the hotel though as there was so much choice around.

The stairs! They are no joke, a long fairly step descent/ascent on a concrete staircase, which you have to carry your luggage up and down (with the help of a porter). There is a small goods dumb-waiter but it’s small and slow. It didn’t bother me much as in the grand scheme of things your are getting to be somewhere special but just be wary of what kind of luggage you bring.

View from our bed/bedroom was insane. Even had a view of the surf from the toilet! Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, we checked in at 2am and they had someone meet us to take our things down the stairs with no trouble at all. I booked this prior to checking to reviews and was super nervous after reading so many bad ones - the stairs are crazy but how else do you expect to get to a spot like that!! It’s on a cliff!! Unless you’re elderly, disabled or a young child you will survive, it’s part of the experience. Well worth it in my eyes!! Breakfast was great and they hooked us up with a great instructor for surfing lessons. Had lots of people asking where I was staying in awe of the view on my socials.

The location was really beautiful, looking out over the waves and reef. It was great to able to surf, snorkel and explore at low tide. And don’t miss the sunsets! The room was awesome, nice and tidy with all you need. Food and staff were fine - but we’ve definitely had better while at cheaper places in Indo.

To get to this location you do need to go down a lot of steps (and then back up again!). The hotel itself it also on the cliff so down to the beach/restaurant so if you aren’t able bodied or don’t like stairs then this won’t be for you! The food was a little expensive considering the portion sizes are small. I would strongly recommend to the chef to quickly make a note of what on the menu is suitable for dietary restrictions as I am GF and did find it hard to eat here - and this is the only restaurant you can eat at here unless you wish to make the trip up the steps to town.
