I had an incredible stay at this charming place! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warmth and attentiveness. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax, while the lush gardens and pool area were like a little paradise. The location was also ideal, close to some popular spots yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for an amazing experience in Bali! We rented a scooter to get around which was perfect. A big thank you to Niko and his team, you are the best!

We had a very beautiful and relaxing stay in Uluwatu at La Kreyiol! We received an Uluwatu guidebook with great tips before arrival and there was a driver available to bring us to La Kreyiol from the airport. Scooters were available to rent on the spot for a good price, run by locals (nice concept from the owner Niko). The hotel is located at a quiet spot away from the crowd, but at the same time it is very easy to reach all the beaches and the main street. Also, the outside shower is very nice and the room is spacious and cleaned everyday. Niko was an amazing and kind host that really cared for his guests and made sure that we had a great stay. We had a small problem with the room and he took great care of it immediately and made sure that it was fixed. We were really happy with this personal care, and this in combination with the above makes that we would recommend this place to all our friends and family!

This place is a great find in Uluwatu. The place is really quiet, simply decorated, and a really good base for exploring southern Bali. Niko, Ninga and team are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet, incredibly genuine and their only aim is to make sure their guests have a good time and feel like family. The team give some excellent recommendations of the local area. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Overall, perfect location for younger people to be based out of for their time in Ulu! Thanks again Niko and team, we hope to stay again soon!

This place is a slice of heaven with so much heart that’s gone behind it that you can feel the warmth as soon as you step in, you know it’s a special place. Every corner is aesthetic and functional with lots of spaces to relax and it all converges around a warm breakfast nook and lovely pool and view to match. There are 4 rooms and I hear more cottages are coming up. We had some great conversations and got fab recommendations from the host - love how passionate he is and how happy the rest of the staff there are. He had a great guide as well prepared for his guests which was super thoughtful and makes your experience even better. They whipped up a good breakfast and we had access to make our tea coffee as we please through the day.

Nothing much really ours was a small stay, we liked every- it’s great value for money. These places are all closer to nature so you need to be ok with seeing some lizards etc nothing unusual for a place that’s nestled in nature.

It was a superb stay for us. The villas and the facilities were awesome representing the natural habitat. The hotel was situated within a small forest. We liked the environment a lot. We could get to anywhere we wanted quite easily with Grab or motorbikes. It is a loss for us we could only stay one night at La Kreyiol. The owner and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The Uluwatu guide provided to us was exceptional as well.

The pool could have been cleaned early in the morning (like 7-8 am). There were a bit of bugs inside when we were swimming in the morning. It was cleaned at 10 am.

The staff were beyond helpful. Niko, the owner, was super friendly and contacted us before our stay with details of the surrounding beaches and restaurants. We arrived for check-in earlier than expected and it was not a problem at all. Nengah cooked the best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten. The breakfast was amazing! He was so helpful on the few days he was left in charge. On several occasions, he jumped on his scooter to go and find the Gojek driver who had taken the wrong turn coming to pick us up to take us to the beach. The property is within walking distance of several beaches if you aren't wild about riding a scooter. However, you can rent one at the hotel. There are many fantastic restaurants near the property.

The pool is lovely but there are only two sun loungers for 3 villas. This wasn't a huge problem but it would have been nice to have more on the few times other guests were at the pool. Our room didn't have a safe. There isn't a TV and we like to wind down after a busy day watching a movie.

The host was a super nice guy from the Carribean. Very laid back. Him and his wife have an adorable golden retriever, Paco. He was the main attraction of our stay, he was so fun to play with! They made us a guide of the best beaches and restaurants and more, that was so helpful! You have to use the scooter to get to Uluwatu centre, takes you about 10 minutes. Uluwatu centre can be very chaotic, so La Kreyiol is the perfect place to stay there if you like tranquility:). Also: the aesthetics of the room and the whole place were so good! We enjoyed our stay a lot :). Thank you for the good times!

The shower is outside, we had bees and frogs in our shower a couple of times. We didn’t really mind but if you’re scared of them this might not be the perfect place for you.

Beautiful and homey place to stay. Uluwatu is booming, so we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this area very much. You can either walk (15min) or take a scooter/car (5 to 10 min) to the nearby commercial area (shops, restaurants ...) and Thomas beach. Uluwatu temple is literally around the corner. Owner Nico and his partner are very gentle, kind and helpful. The bungalows are beautifully decorated and cleaned daily, there is a decent sized pool. Our son (11yo) was greeted by Nico, staff and Paco the Golden Retriever when he would wake up and hang by the pool/bar.

Loved the vibe, the staf were very friendly and the room was comfortable too. The whole place had a laid back atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely, comfortable and well designed with quirky features. The rooms look out onto a communal swimming pool and bar area which can be fun, although it's less private than we would have preferred. The location is on the top of the hill, away from the beaches and town, which makes it quieter and more peaceful.

Absolutely 5 stars review! Wonderful place quiet, simple but characteristic, lots of plants, nature, flowers around the small villas. You will only hear the rooster singing as you are in the middle of the jungle. The room itself is clean, well organized with Balinese style furniture and decor. Loved the bamboo shower tap and the Balinese bathroom’s door. Nico the host is a legend: super friendly, easy going and have lots of awesome tips for restaurants and must to go places around the area. He was the perfect host: helping out us and the other guests with everything from getting taxi to get the ambulance, to check out on us how we are doing. They also offer breakfast and renting scooter.
