The room was very comfortable and clean. Shower was amazing. Room was nice and spacious and warm. And views out our front window of the harbour were lovely. We really appreciated the 2 fresh scones that were left for us with a nice cup of tea after arriving from Galway. Our breakfast {fry]} on Saturday morning was excellent too. The girls serving breakfast were really lovely and very helpful. I would also recommend the lobster bar down the street for delicious food.
The view from our 2 side windows of a green building across the road {pic attached} which was in a bad state of repair, large pieces of paintwork peeling off all over the place. Really takes from the area and looks terrible. The roads all throughout the town and surrounding areas are really bad with bumps and dips and potholes and our car really took a beating. The town itself lacked people I think. We visited all the pubs there on Friday night which were empty and dead except for mc carthys bar where there was music. I'd say about 6 or 7 customers while we were there. I would have thought October bank holiday would be a lot busier to be honest. We done the ring of beara on sat which has breathtaking scenery worth viewing and enjoyed that immensely. It made up for the lack of nightlife.

Excellent Location for my requirements attending a course at BIM College only 3 minutes walking. Breakfast was pre arranged early and was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful. My wife joined me midweek through the course and she was well looked after in my absence.
Bath towels could have been a bit bigger but these were changed daily so not really a problem.

Great location with free parking right outside. Friendly, helpful staff. Large room with comfortable bed and good en-suite. Nice view over the harbour at the front ( it’s a working harbour so it’s an industrial rather than scenic view , but that was interesting) Food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent , locally sourced and fresh, and reasonably priced.
Nothing for us

Its location. So close to the port. The well run restaurant downstairs. Room 1 with 3 windows. The efficiency and warmth of all staff.
There was no mat in the shower. The danger of sliding and slipping in creases with age. There was nothing in the shower to hold on to or steady oneself. Just a suggestion.

Location was very convenient with a good view of the working harbor. Was a bit noisy at times but not enough to bother us. Room was well-appointed and comfortable. Restaurant and kitchen were closed (Easter weekend) so we didn’t have breakfast, but we were given a couple fresh scones and chocolate chip cookies, which were great. Note, they don’t serve breakfast on Sundays.

The property was sooo nice, free parking outside the door, the best breakfast in the downstairs restaurant, couldn’t ask for a better stay, and so quiet! The room was absolutely spotless. Everyone we met were nicer than the next & can’t wait to book with Lynch’s again soon
Absolutely nothing to complain about, we loved everything

We all agreed The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had anywhere . The staff were all exceptionally welcoming, professional, we felt so comfortable in their company. I will return again and again . The place was spotless .
The only tiny thing, and I meant to say this to them personally, the pillows could be softer! The beds and bed lined were super. We travelled with our elderly mother, and nothing was too much trouble… we brought her breakfast up to bed , she felt totally spoilt.

We've stayed in a few places on the beara peninsula and this has to be one of the best. Great central location with easy parking, clean, nice room ( recently refurbished?) and all the facilities work! Good value for money.
It was all very good. Accommodation in Ireland is a bit hit and miss, but this gets a big tick

Excellent location in the town square with ample parking and ESB EV charge point located directly within touching distance by the pier. Room was large, clean and well decorated. Breakfast was cooked to order (€10 fee) and delicious to set me up for my day of work that lied ahead. Communication with host was absolutely seamless during my stay.
Nothing!

Nice little place right at the waterfront in Castletownbere. Well located and there are plenty of parking bays close by. Room was cozy with good heating and decent size bed. Quite a few pubs nearby for a Guinness! Communication from the manager was really good and made everything easy.
Nothing! Wish I could have stayed a bit longer to be honest to try the breakfast!
