Double room was not good as you have to climb over other person to get in to bed. We asked to switch to twin room and staff were very helpful with that. All rooms are very small but beds are comfortable and bathrooms and shower very good. Safe in the room and kettle for tea. No views from window and blind in our room did not slide up and down very easily.
Storage space very tight with bars on wall for clothing hanging. Beds in double room impossible to make for staff and not good for getting in to, ended the night in a complete mess

Well priced hotel within 15 minute walk of central Dublin. Whilst the rooms are small, they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is quiet and the artwork is cool! A number of bars and restaurants close by - particular nods to Frank Ryan’s Bar & Fidelity, both of which are well worth a visit.
The only minor negative, and it is very minor, is that our room was quite dusty, particularly on top of the shelving unit at the head of the bed. Aside from this, the room was clean and the bathroom was very well maintained.

Staff were always friendly and looking to assist. Thanks to the team for organising breakfast for our tour day. The rooms, halls, and lobby bathrooms were always very clean. We liked that the rooms had chromecast so we could stream our own shows. The lobby and restaurant area have a great vibe and it was a nice space to spend time in the morning or evening when waiting for the rest of the family.
Although there was not much space in the triple room/bunkbed we managed ok. Some things weren't always available at the breakfast but the selection was good and coffee machine was great. I would have liked to have some eggs but that's ok, the yoghurt, cold meats and cheeses, cereal etc was all great. Our group particularly loved the pastries (they were delicious!) and that there were gluten free options provided.

Decent location in terms of temple bar area and Smithfield Christmas market. Tv in room and nice lounge/bar area. Staff were really friendly- receptionist who welcomed us and receptionist who held our bags whilst we explored Dublin after check out.
Location was abit far if you wanted to go bit further into less touristy spots of Dublin - we had to get a couple of freenow taxis. Green emergency light in room offputting when trying to sleep. Woken up in morning by arguing. But mostly, Pot noodle was €6 in the tuck shop which is scandalous!

The staff was AMAZING!! Even before our trip, they were very responsive, in a quick & thorough manner, regarding questions we had about travel, navigating buses/trains, seeing local music/art/venues, discounts, amenities, and anything else we needed to know as first-time visitors to Ireland! They front desk staff made it feel like home, and the one gentleman even told us about a favorite local whiskey, shared shots with us! Slainte! Your staff was absolutely wonderful in maintaining a hotel where we could sleep at night and not be woken up by loud staff in the mornings, as well, & I highly recommend ANYONE to stay here! You were our FAVORITE hotel!! ❤️ We especially appreciated the man from Poland who originally checked us in & helped us find places to eat, as well as the Irish gentleman who had a red beard, who helped us several times & was remarkably friendly & kind as well. We truly appreciated you all making the last 3 days of our time in Ireland exceptional!!! In addition, seeing the way that your hotel seeks to be environmentally friendly, along with it being the premier Art Hotel in Dublin, made such a phenomenal combo!! So much good, packed into one hotel--I highly recommend it for a memorable and wonderful stay in Dublin!!! :)
not a thing--our stay was exceptionally wonderful! I didn't like that I couldn't stay with your hotel longer, and that I can't move to Ireland in the near future! :) I love it there!!

The hotel was modern and stylish, the hotel itself smelt really nice and fresh from the moment we entered, lounge/cafe area was brilliant to spend some time in and unwind. Rooms were clean. So many restaurants/cafe’s/supermarkets available nearby literally within walking distance, public transport was also all within walking distance. I would say the location of this hotel is brilliant, I am already thinking of coming back next year.
Everything was brilliant, except just a slight notice, not a big deal, I noticed that the ladies bathroom in the lobby did not have hand soap for all 4 days that I was there, however it was signed for by staff to say that the bathroom had been checked over.

Accomodation was in a great location with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Easy walking distance town to see all the attractions. Room is on the smaller side but plenty of storage and very comfortable bed.
Be aware, there is no parking outside the hotel to check in. Two spots are pay and display and there is a loading bay. Do not use the loading bay as a vehicle will be clamped for doing so and €125 later and an hour or so waiting for the clamp to be removed. Accommodation does offer a reduced rate at the local parking station but there is no where to park whilst trying to check in.

The colourful design. Beautiful crazy art work. The quirky concept of the bunk for my girl The rituals shower products. And the fab shower Very comfy bed .
How tight the room was for 3 people. It was quite difficult when we were awake. The desk was tiny. And such little space between the end of the bed and the wall wardrobe Also not been able to open a window was difficult. My husband woke up very hot. Used a hand held fan (luckily i brought it with me) and a cold face cloth. Despite the quirkiness of the hotel and the novelty of the bunk. We could not consider staying again. The room was too tiny for three and ridiculously expensive. Don't plan on returning as a family again.

Second time staying at The Hendrick and it's been great both times! Rooms are clean and comfortable, a little on the small side but theres plenty of storage for bags and clothing. This time around I travelled with my niece for her 13th birthday and I had left a message in the booking saying so. When we arrived into the room they had laid out some balloons and a lovely note! It was so thoughtful and she was over the moon! Haven't had the breakfast here but they had a little shop in the lobby to grab a quick drink or a snack, which is always nice! Prices aren't the best but not anymore then you'd put into a vending machine :) They have a lovely little courtyard just off the lobby as well for relaxing if the weathers good, or for having a smoke. Very comfortable and clean! Bartenders are also very friendly and knowledgable!
nothing :)

Lounge area was comfy and was nice to bring our fish n chips take away order back and relax in the lounge with the drinks we ordered from their bar. Although rooms were tiny, we knew that as the pics were a pretty accurate representation of what to expect. We walked everywhere, so location was great for us. Restaurants in the area were excellent. Smithfield’s pedestrian square was active with festivals of local Irish music.
The hallways were noisy at night with doors that echoed through the hallways. Room was pretty warm even with the temp controls set low.
