The staff was overwhelmingly fantastic! Special thanks to Tara at the bar! And there was a young man at the front desk on the evening we checked in (Friday, 7 June, 21:00 [9pm]), who was fantastic, too. I wish I had gotten his name, to mention here, because he was really great. The water pressure of the shower was fantastic! And there was 1 pillow on the bed that was really huge, that was perfect for me (a side sleeper). I joked about finding a way to pack it in my suitcase to bring home.
There was a smell to some areas, including our room most days. The prices of food were high.

Room was very comfortable
As in most hotels I've stayed car parking for residents is always free I found it strange that residents had to pay 10 euro per night to park .In my opinion I find that a little high.

We had to attend a sudden family funeral, after a delayed Ryanair flight. We arrived at the hotel. Ciara helped us check-in to a quiet room. There were a few issues we faced, however between Casie and Ciara, everything was resolved with kind lovely manner. Both were seriously outstanding in their customer service. The time we spent in Maldron Newlands Cross hotel was terrific despite the sad circumstances. We had a wonderful breakfast chef, who had a jovial bubbly personality, who made us smile Wednesday and Thursday. Would highly recommend this location and we hope yo come back under happier times.

The hotel was ideal for our stay as it was so easy to get from travelling from south West. Plenty of parking spaces, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for families as there are plenty of parks nearby to burn off some energy. Loads of restaurants in walking distance which is ideal of you have fussy eaters. Audi is right beside the hotel if you forget anything which is very hand. This hotel boasts a very nice bar gastro pub with a very good atmosphere. Again the staff were so friendly and warm. We stayed in a family room and had breakfast the following day. I cannot fault either with complimentary bottles of water for everyone and the breakfast had plenty to choose from. I'll most likely recommend to other families and friends as hotels in Dublin can be very pricey and not ideal with kids.
I have no bad complaints great hotel value for money and friendly staff.

The room we were in was huge and was clean. The bed was a little firm but the blankets and pillows were soft and comfortable. There was an Aldi store across the street that we got alcohol and food in.
The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly so when you closed the door it would constanly rattle due to the pressure. As well as the toilet paper holder was positioned very awkwardly behind the toilet. And the location was way too far away from anything. You would have to walk half an hour to get to the bus station or tram to go to the downtown.

The staff were superb! On arrival, a truly brilliant girl on the reception desk (didn’t get her name) ensured our room was ready, as we had to leave early for a concert. She suggested we go to the bar area for a coffee, where we were met by another super friendly and helpful staff member, who served us fabulous coffee and hot chocolates for our teenage girls. The receptionist girl then came into us with our room card, which we truly appreciated! A huge thank you to your excellent staff! We were made feel so welcome, if made such a difference after a long drive!
Maybe look at room service options for food, or include additional options in the vending machine? We arrived late back to the hotel after the concert and were a little peckish.

Had a lovely stay. Staff on reception (male member of staff) on check in and check out most helpful with advice about transport into the city and dinner options. Got a lovely friendly hello from another member of staff when we returned to hotel after our night out. Overall a lovely stay and well worth the price.
Had to wait a little while for our meal in the bar, told them we were rushing for a show, there was a function on so understandable staff were kept busy...but we had enough time after so all was well... and food was fabulous. 10/10

Location ideal as base to explore Dublin. Large modern room, comfortable with excellent complimentary service. Bathroom shower excellent. Breakfast was outstanding with choice and quality of food and service. Plenty of staff on hand to replenish and remove used dishes and engage in conversation. Housekeeping staff responded quickly to request for additional bedding and towels
Pay to park is I suppose is a necessary evil being close to a large city to control indiscriminate parking. Other than that nothing of note to disapprove of

The food was All cooked properly and served to the table nice and hot without any delay 😄 the breakfast was all layed out nicely and even though we came for breakfast at 9:30 I managed to get soft fried eggs .... The restaurant we had breakfast was spacious and clean. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious
I can't think of much that we didn't like, but having to pay for parking in a private carpark with barriers was a bit much, I think maybe if guests who stay more than one night shouldn't need to pay
