Unbeatable location, well decorated big room, comfortable bed, sound proofs window, very convenient price and the host Pietro was great in making everything easy and possible, we are very grateful for that.

Just to mention there’s no elevator and the fridge was noisy some times.

Its amazing and very near to the duomo.

Ac is old school and it was not giving enough cooling. The only problem was the AC.

Poor timing for cleaning rooms/bed changing by staff. Mop buckets and black bin liners left in the middle of stairways, dirty bed linen on the floors at the top of each of the stairways when we arrived In afternoon. Returning late afternoon on second day cleaning still going on and our room was not attended to. Can I suggest putting heating instructions in room as the small thermostat control unit on wall just inside door has nothing to do with it and just adds to confusion. Instructions to lift a flap on a heater by the window to turn on would be helpful

Beautiful room. Spotlessly clean. High end decor and furnishings. Seems to have been newly painted so room felt fresh and clean. Very accommodating with leaving our bags before check in. Great value if you do not need an elevator.

The only thing I found strange was that we were not contacted by anyone from the property after we booked on booking.com We called the number on the front door when we arrived and were given a code for the door and instructions on where to leave our bags. Then told where to find the key. Never actually saw a staff member the 2 days we were there. No breakfast service while we were there.

I’m torn! I want to write a stellar review but I don’t want many people to discover this little gem! Fantastic location, incredible interiors (simple and unique, makes you feel you truly are in Firenze without trying hard!). There is no concierge but Signore Pietro, with whom I chatted for check in and out, and the cleaning staff were great! Friendly and at the ready to help! The room had a tiny frigobar which is super convenient and they offer complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits everyday. It’s super central, you can literally see the Duomo from the windows. It’s perfect if, like me, you spend most of your day in museums and want to do a quick midday break to rest in your room and recharge before continue exploring. Check in and out were super easy and practical, very well explained and easy to follow. Good WiFi is also available. Overall, I loved every day I was there!

The historic city centre is - obviously - very old with very narrow streets, buzzing with cars, small buses and people. So, the streets can be noisy, but it didn’t affect my stay that much. Also, I sleep with my windows open, that doesn’t help! 😅

We were in Florence for the last couple of days of a two week stay in Italy. The location was excellent. A couple of blocks from the Duomo. The room was spacious. They provided a bottle of water for each that's the first day. There was a coffee pod and a cookie with some Nutella for the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. Because of our arrival time and our travel around the city we didn't see the staff in person. But, they were very helpful and responsive to our needs and questions. They helped us out quite a bit with taxis and questions that we had.

Top location, 5 mins walk from the Duomo. We really like the deco of the room. Clean. Coffee machine and kettle in the room. Wifi ok. Located in a busy street but the double glazing does wonders and you don't hear the street noise from the room. There's also a little bar immediately opposite the building convenient for breakfast and a supermarket around the corner. Got the instruction via Whatsapp to get in the building and the room the day before and it all went very smoothly. Same thing the day before departure for checkout instructions. Note: there's no lift

This was the ONLY stay we would repeat out of all our travels this past June in Rome, Florence, and Cinque Terre. The unit was large--an entry hall with closet, a very nice bathroom, a HUGE room serving as both living room and bedroom, casement windows, and even a kitchen with fridge, dining set, and coffee and tea. Clearly, the owner cares about the presentation and the product. It was a treat to have a comfy couch and big screen, a desk, a four poster bed, and some decorating! We got the lovely blue and gold unit we had seen online. BEST part of our stay was the kindness and welcome of the housekeeper, a lovely young woman who greeted us, helped me when she say me struggling with my bag, and did a wonderful job of cleaning.

(My only suggestion would be to leave more coffee pods than one per person per day, especially since you don't provide any breakfast.)

Excellent location close to the Duomo. Perfect if you want to pop back to your room for a rest before going out again. Although it is on a side street, there was no noise from the traffic at all thanks to the windows. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable beds. Private en-suite bathroom but take a shower cap as the shower head is fixed on the wall! No view as we were on the 1st floor but as soon as you step outside ,you’re in the heart of the historic city so not a problem. The view is all around you! We were met at the property by our very kind host Pietro who spoke excellent English and helped us with information about alternative transportation to the airport when there was a train strike. All in all a great choice and we would definitely go back again.

Location 10/10. Literally 1 minute from the duomo. But quietly out of the way all at the same time Very clean 10/10 Room 10/10. Beautiful florentine styled building block, entrance hall and room, tastefully decorated and furnished. Shower was superb, very powerful. Lots of hot water. Bed 10/10 : very comfortable bed and lovely quality linen Wardrobe and cupboard space excellent. Could store suitcases under bed

Everything was great but a. Couple Of pointers for the owners : Nowhere to hang towels to dry in room 24 Toilet paper poor quality
