It was my first experience at any hostel in my life! But this hostel is the best in the world I think ! And I’m very glad that I chose exactly this place. Everything is clean. All time you can eat something at the bar. Also you can drink any time you wish. There are so nice breakfast for so cheap price. You can close you box with luggage by the key. They are providing a big towel. There are so warm atmosphere ❤️ I don’t know how to explain but it is magic place. Everybody who is coming there is becoming to be kind and relaxed. I don’t how it’s working there but it is🫶✨. Every employee of this hostel is smiling to you and try to help you with the all your questions 👌. Barmen there is the best in the whole Milan🍹😎!!! Barmen is creating 80% of atmosphere there😎👌✨He is so friendly and open soul person ✨✨✨ Also there are party every day. But there is no noise in the room. The most friendly place of Milan !!!🫶

Great vibes; lovely staff; good social scene with locals and travellers. Range of ages and activities don’t feel too young. Felt very welcomed. Toiletries provided (makeup remover, body wash) and vanity to do makeup. Would 10/10 stay again. Lifts to get to rooms with luggage. Large lockers in rooms. Fits large suitcase and bag. Pretty close to everything.

No extraction fan in bathroom. But honestly that was my only negative.

Great location, really cheerful and friendly staff. I never saw one of them without a smile on their face. I had 3 nights here this time - it was my second 3:night visit. I was here in May 2024. I'm back for a one night stay at the end of my trip in mud September on my way back up to Paris & the UK. Have stayed in other OB hostels and am booked into more for this current trip. Great operation (though perhaps a bit expensive - but then I suppose you get what you pay for!!!) Would very happily recommend and every happily become back - indeed I will be doing

Minor issue - I opted in to the Friday pub crawl, met as told in the bar but failed to make contact with whoever was leading. Partly my fault I suppose - should have queried at reception. Another minor point - I knew there was a kitchen and terrace up top - but there's no signage. I only discovered them on my last day last time. Perhaps they need a bit of publicity? These aren't complaints, just suggestions to make a great place an even greater place. Btw - I'm not a typical backpacker (though I backpack a lot all over Europe - I'm a 66 year old pensioner - but still 18 in my head. So not a youngster but the place makes you feel you're still young, 'up for it's and ready for whatever... Certainly no ageism here - and there is in some hostels....

This is the second time I have stayed at the Ostello Bello Duomo and just as with the first time, it's one of the best experiences I have ever had with a hostel. The staff are really friendly and kind, they are great to chat to and have a genuine interest in the guests and taking care of you. The hostel also attracts a good crowd of travellers, both international and Italians from other parts of the country. There is a bar in the reception which is a good place to socialise with other travellers and there is also a basement which has events such as music nights and gigs from time to time. I would recommend this hostel absolutely to anyone travelling to Milan.

Nothing I didn't like.

If you're coming from the airport you can take the train, there are 2 lines, I accidentally got the Metro Centrale, then from there better grab a UBER "IF" you have bigger luggage like me. In my case, I rode another metro and go to the nearest station. However, it was raining and since you needed to climb the stairs, it was inconvenient to walk from the station. For the room, I had 8 female bedrooms, the room is nice and has a vanity table. The washroom is spacious which I preferred too. I was able to open my big luggage without disturbing my roommates. The location is also near the Duomo, I think around 10-15 min walk. The hostel has a good vibe, they gave us 1 free token for the drinks. However, the place has party activities at night so be mindful of the noise. The staff are welcoming, I forgot the name of the guy, but he sure remembers the guest names, which is really nice.

Everything. Im not a share-ur-room kind of girl usually but this place gave me the BEST experience. I had booked it few times when ive stayed there because i wanted to stay more. The whole atmosphere, all the workers always smile amd responsive and have a laugh and helps u with EVERYTHING u need. Listen, as a princess that loves her Airbnb account-believe me-it is actually better then having ur own place, cause here u are absolutely feel at home. And in the female dormitory u have tampons and whatever girl needs so it melted my heart. And even when i had to book the mix dorms-they let me feel super comfortable after having a not so good experience with his and also that room was super comfortable. PERFETTO HOSTEL.

The property has absolutely perfect location close to all main places of interest in Milan! Big kitchen with a terrace - can’t wait for coming back here at summer time to admire my breakfast outside. Rooms are clean and cozy, stuff at the reception desk – one love! Just a little noisy outside around 11 pm but it was fine for me.

The staff was nice and accommodating. There was a free welcome drink which was a nice surprise. Everything was unlocked through an app from the phone (quite modern). The location is close to Duomo (walkable). As soon as you exit the hostel, you'll find a nice street with different dining and shopping options. If you're there on a Sunday, make sure to book the brunch! :)

The water from the shower spilled over the floor, which made it a bit messy for the next person. It would be nice to have some kind of mop around so people clean properly after their turn.

I love the friendliness and hospitality of the staff and how the place and people really just give a relaxing vibe for my holiday stay. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm so it was fun meeting new people and other fellow travellers and holiday-makers. Bidet and good shower temp is of course a big thumbs up for me. They have nice activities every night which they keep you posted using the app or the bulletin board by the bar. Not sure if it's only for summer, but they do l'aperitivo time from 18:30 so enjoy the mini buffet when you buy any drink at that time. I think that's only for hostel guests. The kitchen on top floor is quite convenient and has airconditioning on at some times. Don't miss hanging out on the roof top terrace or on the 2nd floor terrace with a net hammock.

I was there summer and the room was still a bit warm even with the airconditioning adjusted and all doors and windows kept closed, though it's manageable at certain cooler times of the day. Maybe the airconditioners are just old. As usual, as downside to any dormitory hostels, some other guests can be insensitive with time, noise and lights so bring your earplugs or sleeping earphones and blackout eyemask. Also they don't have an all male dorm room, which I would prefer than a mixed dorm. I'm hearing some sound of furniture movements on the upper floors late at night, I'm not sure if that's just the sound of guests moving stuff or using underbed lockers.
