Casale Antonietta is a lovely 3 star hotel on the outskirts of Sorrento. There is 15 rooms and the two rooms we had were quite small, but it is a converted castle, so to be expected. The rooms were clean and to a good standard. Well the staff were really friendly and chatty and Maria on reception is really helpful. I note previous comments that say how step it is to get there, but that is the hotel and Sorrento. Please don’t expect a central hotel on the flat, as it is not! Sorrento as a place is hilly! The hotel is on a hill outside Sorrento. It has lovely views from the gardens across the bay. The pool was broken whilst we were there, but the hotel arranged with another hotel and took us there and collected us, you cannot ask for more to be honest. The onsite restaurant and pizza oven was great and reasonably priced too for food and drink too. To get to Sorrento there is a path from the hotel, downhill on the way! You can get the bus or an air conditioned mini bus from the campsite by the bus stop into Sorrento for €2 each, each way, which is approximately every 30 mins. The staff at the hotel and restaurant are great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing not to like

This is the second time I have visited this place. One with a friend and the second time with my partner. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and it feels like a real family. The restaurant was fantastic with amazing views. Unfortunately the pool was closed but they had a deal with another hotel which pool was fantastic! Lastly our room was out of this world - it was a superior double room in which we had our own private area with chairs and a table where we could relax away from the hustle of sorrento (room number 5) It was fantastic! Thank you for an amazing trip!

Beautiful place, good food in the restaurant and good breakfast. The room was small but cozy. Everything very clean. AC in the room, fridge and free parking. In a very quiet place, the bus stop is very very close but the bus is always late and hard to plan something because of that. We ended up going everywhere walking and it was a good choice… it’s not that far walking.

We had a few problems with the shower (no cold water one afternoon and very poor pressure of the water) but nothing heartbreaking. They have a beautiful swimming pool but it was closed I don’t know why… but they let us go to the one from the hotel next to them for free so not a big deal. The cleaners were a little loud around 8am.

We liked room and surroundings of hotel, great view to sea from yard. Also had two dinners at restaurant - it was really tasty. Personnel was very polite and hospitable. We also booked boat trip to Capri at hotel - everything was organized very well. For breakfast you can have sweets, yogurt and boiled eggs, ham and cheese, it was good for couple days. Advise - not follow google directions to top of the mountain - it's narrow road (1.60m) and parking is located right after turn from main road on foothill.

Our A/C was working, but not at full capacity, so first night was hot, after noticing problem to personnel it worked better, but still not as we expected. Sorrento is accessible by bus or car.

The place is a family-run homestay. Luca is an exceptional host and his Manager Alex serves from the heart with a smile. If you want to experience true Italian family life, this is a place where you see 3 generations with the odd child playing with a tricycle in the yard, the vendors bringing in fresh groceries and every family member doing something to run this lovely place (made from the ash of the 300-year volcano nearby). We found the place by accident and are so pleased we stayed in Sorrento which is such a quaint little town. You do need a car to navigate to the property and it does have stairs in case you have any senior citizens in your group. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and return again. We dined at the property twice and at both times the food and service were exceptional. Luca even sent us a complimentary bottle of wine on our last day there. It certainly ticked all the boxes and more for our family.

The view and the breakfast were really nice.

It is awful that the location doesn't mention the fact that to get there you need to go on a very narrow traversa, very steep and with stairs too, with your luggage. Moreover, this traversa doesn't have light at all up until getting to the location, so when we got back from the center it was already 22:00 and in September that means darkness. The traversa was pitch black and we used our phone's light to get to the location. Awful, anything could happen on that path.

lovely big complex. we sat round the pool one afternoon and was the only ones there. lots of space. lots for little kids to do. rooms comfy and the lady in front desk as so welcoming and helpful. we had a really early checkout and they made us a breakfast to take with us the night before and let us settle us the room tax early. breakfast was good but mostly sweet things. pool looked lovely but we didn’t use it and you need a swim hat. airs on was good bed was super soft. fridge in room which was good. great views from the gardens too.

there is bus which goes to Sorrento which comes about every 20 mins. takes about 5 minutes to get down to Sorrento but 20 mins (down hill) on foot. if you can buy your tickets from the tabacci shops on your way as the bus driver changes more. the only down side is that when you get off the bus you have very steep uphill climb so not great for those with mobility issues. there is a car park half way up if you drive.

Lovely people. Reception man Francesco was really helpful. Room was spacious and hot tub was amazing. We are a family of 3 and our daughter had some privacy as there was a wall divider between the two rooms. The shower was powerful and modern. Food in restaurant was also great. Great taste, choice and good value for money.

The location is up a steep hill. The driveway down was very tight in places. The pool was out of action. However they had an arrangement with the hotel next door and their pool was amazing.

I had such a wonderful time at Casale Antonietta. The rooms are priced very competitively and are exceptionally clean. While not located in the city center of Sorrento, it is easily accessible by bus. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Maria, in particular, was a fantastic host, always available to assist us and ensure we had the best possible stay. Additionally, the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and polite. I would definitely return in the future. Thank you for everything!
