We liked everything about the hotel. The location is great as you have an amazing view over Sorrento, Naples, Vesuvius, etc. Great sunset watch spot as well. Don't worry about the fact the hotel is not in central Sorrento - there is a free shuttle bus running every hour from 9 to 23:30. It only takes around 7 minutes to go to the city center. The shuttle stops near the main shopping street/restaurants area. In the mornings it also goes to the central bus and train station so perfect if you want to explore the Amalfi coast for the day. Please note that there is a public bus stop just outside of the hotel, but we were advised by reception that the bus is already full by the time it reaches the hotel so doesn't usually stop. It stopped for us the 1 time we tried it, but we were there beginning of May so not high season. The stuff are very nice and helpful - especially the lady at reception and everyone at breakfast. We stayed in the annex villa, which is just less than 5 min walk through the lemon garden. It was cheaper than the main hotel and I would definitely recommend that and don't be put off by the fact it says annex. It is a gorgeous place. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and fairly varied for a continental breakfast. The stuff don't miss a second when you need some more coffee. There is a jacuzzi area which looks very nice and the pool is heated so can be used even if it's not too hot. It is exceptionally clean as well.

- Frequent and reliable transportation between the hotel and the Piazza Antiche Mura square in Sorrento. - There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. We used it when returning from the Amalfi coast on a Sita bus. (We probably could have stopped the bus on our way to the Amalfi coast had we bought the bus tickets beforehand.) - Excellent service in the hotel restaurant.

- The toilet in the room had a weak flush and the water thank filled up slowly for flushing the toilet again.

Everything! Lovely room comfortable bed the view from the rooftop, and the bar. Great breakfast with incredible view. Having a car available to take us in and out throughout the day and night was perfect.

Not allowed to use the pool or hot tub die to season.

Beautiful sea views across to Sorrento. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The food was very good. Area around the pool was nice and quiet. The room in the annex was pretty basic but comfortable. Shuttle into Sorrento was a bonus and only took 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was situated in a wonderful location on the high part of the cliffs overlooking the bay of Sorrento. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly (especially the reception team and pool man). Upon arrival we were informed by the reception team that they had upgraded our room (free of charge) to one with a garden view. There is a free shuttle bus service that runs hourly between the hotel and Sorrento town. The swimming pool was a good size and very deep. The temperature was perfect as well. The bar has a great selection of drinks. On Monday night they had a DJ which played great music.

Food and drink sold in the hotel was very expensive. Dinner in the restaurant was ok. 1 meal I had to return as it was inedible, however I ordered another dish which was lovely.

Absolutely beautiful hotel situated in the Sorrento hills. We had a sunset balcony room, which the view was breathtaking. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Our flight was delayed coming out, and they called ahead so we could organise room service as we would miss dinner. Good was delicious. Highly recommend.

The only thing I would point out is the furniture on the balcony kept waking us up at night as it was banging with the wind. We sorted it once we realised, but we were then woken up by are neighbours doing the same thing. Another slight disappointment was we weren't informed of any special nights going on where a pianist comes in.

This was a really lovely hotel. All the staff from reception to bar staff and from the breakfast team to the pool guys were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pool area was great - plenty of sun beds or shade beds for everyone and someone on hand to help all the time. Breakfast was great - always a good selection. The views are incredible and the shuttle bus to take you down to town and back to the hotel was invaluable. A lovely stay and a great base to explore the area.

There is very little that could have been better. Personally I would have liked the lunch menu to be available in the evening. As a single traveller that would have been easier than getting the bus down to town for a casual meal.

Very well presented, reception staff were very friendly and approachable. Bar and Dining staff were delivering 5* service at breakfast. Facilities are great with Jacuzzi and heated pool, housekeeping team also take pride in their work. Would definitely stay here again for the price we paid as great value for money and a walkable distance to town in 25 minutes. (April 2024).

Free Shuttle Bus isn’t currently reliable. Bus not turning up at the timetable given by staff. On three occasions it was on time, two of those was the replacement service due to staff holiday.

The hotel is very charming, fancy and has a lot facilities. The restaurant has great food, the receptionist from Argentina is just amazing, really helpful professional and everything very clean. The staff has amazing service! I just had the best trip! The view is just amazing! Thank you for it! 🙌🏽

My boyfriend doenst like the breakfast. We understand the breakfast is adjusted for the British, since they seem the main guests, but more variety would be appreciated. The coffee is just plain bad, which was very disappointing since everywhere else in Italy the coffee was great.

We liked the convenience of a breakfast buffet in the hotel. Service was excellent. Breakfast food options were plentiful, but scrambled eggs were not cooked enough and fried eggs were cooked hard. A hot potato choice such as hash browns or home fries would have been good. Pastries were dry and to our taste didn't have much flavor. We appreciated the shuttle service, but especially with the hotel being full, another after dinner shuttle would have been nice. We had to take a taxi back to the hotel one evening, because the 9:30 shuttle was too crowded.

Minor upgrades & maintenance would better justify prices. Examples: poor lighting in the bathroom and bath towels that were worn and mismatched. Planters in the patio areas had dead or dying plants rather than colorful flowers. The pool bathroom needed some patching and paint. The shuttle bus waiting area should be improved with a safer surface for getting on and off the shuttle, and should be kept free of litter. We stayed 7 nights. Many hotels would have offered a discount for multiple nights or a welcome gift such as flowers & a bottle of wine in our room.
