We wanted stay with heart of Venice and not travelling. . It nice location. 3 mins to St. Marco ar. 6 mins to Academia Bridge. Check in is possible from 0:00 , and is option self check-in. Receptionist Laura sent to me clear instrution. Thank you for this. Day before our check-in Laura sent to me information about some event on Grand Canal ; and possible problem with vaporetto. That was very kind , because I have time and planed different way . I love we was keep in touch additionally by WhatsApp. When we come Laura meet us very friendly with amazing smile . She explain everything and kindly gave some advice what is worth to see. Also said where we find nice local food in relatively good price . Thank you for this, we ate it and was delicious 😋. About room I liked design . It is very old building and we would like feel how people live in this architecture. We loved is proper open window and outside have porta so you make completely dark in room. We used porta when want to rest on siesta time. Air conditioner working excellent. It very comfortable have a small fridge. We put a water and some yoghurt to cold it. All was very clean without any smell. And was daily cleaning. Second Laura was also very friendly. She gave me option to left my baggage after check out. Her instrution was clear and easy . She gave me special code to open door. Thank you for this. Without baggage I had option spend other hours to walking comfortable. My flight was ar. 8pm. I love the silence in this place. It is heart of Venice but you have a comfortable silence. We slept very well. Wi-fi working excellent. I had problem to connect in first moment but Laura help me with it. I highly recommend this place if you want be in heart of Venice and safe your time and energy not use to much transport. Thank you for all . Especially for both Laura . In the shower cabin one small part need repair. But I understand is need sometimes time .

The location of this accomodation was extremely convenient. Only a few steps from the Santa Maria de Giglio stop and within 7 minutes walking distance to St. Mark's square. A nice quiet location and only a few hundred meters from nearby restaurants. Directions and check in instructions were provided with great detail and care. We had the suite at the top floor with 2 rooms, 3 flights of steep stairs but totally manageable. Beds were comfortable and the room was light and AC worked great , which was necessary in the current extreme heat. They were also kind enough to store out bags after check out while we finished exploring the neighborhood.

This place was almost perfect. Nothing to complain about for the price.

Laura was a great host before and during our stay. The location is super--3 minute walk from water taxi/bus stop and maybe 6 or 7 minutes to Piazza San Marco, Teatro La Fenice, etc. Our studio apartment was very roomy and secure. The in room kitchenette with a good sized refrigerator made it easy to eat breakfast in the room.

Nothing really. Only minor improvement would have been the availability of some kind of upholstered seating in the room. There were chairs and a small table to eat at, etc. Really no issues or concerns.

Pretty former palace very near all major sights, & right on the canal, so easy to walk to them or catch the vaporetto. The evening opera in the adjoining function room was a real, unexpected treat! Staff we met were very helpful & friendly. Mosquito repellent plugs were provided when requested.

Nothing really, we only had to ask for anything we wanted. It was adequate for us as we only needed somewhere to sleep. The shower cubicle is a little on the small side but water was hot & nice white towels.

Shower cabin was outdated Still about 1 hour away from the airport with public water transportation Alilaguna (we luckily made the last boat. Otherwise there were other private boats alternative but much more expensive)

The staff were absolutely amazing so helpful nothing was too much trouble. The location to walking distance of attractions is brilliant for the price of the room. Highly recommend.

Absolutely no negatives at all the hotel is clean comfortable authentically Italian. If I had to nitpick I'd say milk in the room for the coffee would be good and the mattress was a bit hard but honestly that's splitting hairs we loved every minute of our stay.

Reception kindly kept in contact on Wassap when I had a Vaporetto problem on the way. Reception weren't there by time we got there but everything worked perfectly for check in, the communication excellent and they were very friendly when we met them. The room was perfect for our 3 night stay and the view of the waterway, Gondolas going past was simply fantastic. I would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel for a magical stay.

The location is excellent, the staff are lovely and the room was huge. It had a kitchenette inside with all the basics and overlooked a little courtyard next to the Academy of Music, which meant we got the occasional free recital.

Zero complaints. The sign on the front door said the entrance was round the side when it isn't, but that was more charming than annoying. Like a lot of hotels in Venice it's a little tired and frayed around the edges, but we expected that.

Perfect location, very close to main attractions, cafes and shops. The room was small but very cosy and the overall hotel felt like home. The shower was great, the room has a smart TV and the views from the window are overlooking the canal. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming and even left a little Happy Birthday note with a Prosecco in our room which was a very nice and unexpected gesture! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything was perfect! The only suggestion I can make is that the mattress can be a bit hard for some people but overall it’s comfortable

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was perfect, it was on a quiet canal, only 7 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. I found that I could walk just about anywhere in Venice within 15-20 minutes from my hotel which made it the perfect central location. The hotel was decorated in traditional Venetian style, very comfortable and clean. During my time in Venice we had some cold and rainy days so the manager turned on the heat so that guests could be more comfortable and the heat also helped dry anything that got wet while out exploring the city. And finally, they provided me with a phone number to arrange a private water taxi to the airport when it was time to go home. Thank you for such a nice stay in Venice!
