Clean with great service

the King bed is sooo Huge it was awesome and super comfortable, we never had their breakfast but their coffee very very good, prices in the restaurant a little pricey i thought but its not a cheep hotel and its a classy restaurant we did use the room service and we found it to be very good and hot the staff are great.. the Courtesy vehicle driver Tony very friendly it felt like a friend was taking you in to town..

the only minor complaint is that the spa was loud and one day i felt the house cleaning was a little quick, Lazy or new on the job.. not wiping the full length of the basin bench certainly not big issues .

This is a very easy hotel to navigate to, drive into and out of, so close to the CBD. We didn't go into the CBD itself, but did require parking and we were fortunate that their on site secure parking still had some spaces left when we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We'd included breakfast in our package and it was one of the best buffet breakfasts I've experienced. Delicious food and a good range of hot and cold options.

I'd have liked to have been able to reserve a parking space at the time of booking our room, but for some reason this is not an available option. We were part way through a long road trip and had all manner of photographic and snorkelling gear with us, so didn't want to park on the street. It would have been good to have the reassurance that we'd be able to park on site as we didn't relish the idea of having to unpack the car and drag everything up to our room for one night. Luckily it worked out OK for us.

We loved our Stay at Rydges South Park. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Bed was the comfiest I've ever slept on in a hotel. Room was very clean and lovely updated decor. Pool area was clean and neat. Check in was great considering a huge group came in before us the hotel reception stayed calm & polite and got through the rush period quickly and were kind enough to drop us to the airport on check out. Great coffee from lovely Baristas in downstairs cafe. Location was brilliant, loved the bars and restaurants in the area awesome pub just up the road and 500m walk along a beautiful park got us to the free tram into the City so we were very happy.

Rydges and the management of this property are to be commended. The friendly staff!!!!. The very large clean well appointed rooms with a small balcony are excellent. We had a view over the park which was so relaxing. We could walk into the city its half and hour but we enjoyed seeing the neighborhoods. We had dinner at a fantastic local pub 2 blocks away. They provide parking with a small charge which is well worth it. We did not use the pool or restaurant but we would if we returned. They were putting up the Xmas tree the day we left. Fantastic. Value for money hands down. Would definitely stay again.

Staff were very welcoming from the moment I walked in and were most understanding. As soon as an issue was raised, it was quickly sorted - in my case, the iron provided with the room had developed some sort of build up. Reception staff quickly replaced the iron with a new appliance

Unfortunately, due to the public holiday weekend, the cafe breakfast service wasn't available in time for my busy schedule. This did make it difficult to source breakfasts across the long weekend. Service resumed on Tuesday and Wednesday of my stay and the breakfast quality is definitely worth slowing down to enjoy

The room was lovely beds are comfy most of the staff were very nice and helpful

The night manager was very snobby & made you feel like you were putting him out any time I needed anything. & that is if you were even able to get a hold of him. He never seemed to be at the reception desk to answer the phone. I had to actually ring the reservation phone number to get a hold of him. The food menu is very average with not that much at all to choose from with the price tag very over priced. There's not even just a simple bowl of hot chips or anything of the like to choose as a nice quick snack or with your meal.

Breakfast had a nice variety of different foods. We like breakfast was offered till 10am. The Chef and staff always accommodating and happy. We had a nice lunch on the day we arrived and were served with less than an hour to close time, it was most appreciated. The Skyline restaurant was also wonderful, we both enjoyed the meals we had and enjoyed the setting there. All staff were always friendly and very helpful.

We found the bed a little soft to sleep on. We're just not used to it, but otherwise fine.

The views were stunning and staff were exceptional! The rooms were clean and just gorgeous! The food was delicious and the room service was excellent. The staff were so understanding when we had to change rooms a few times and helped us with that. They truely went above and beyond for us.

The only complaints I have are that we had to change rooms twice due to the first one having technical issues with the tv and the second room’s fan wasn’t working. The staff were so helpful with those issues though and made the experience extra special.

Next to the park so looking out the window was really nice. I’m also impressed with the charging ports all around the room, didn’t even need to bring the adapter and just plug the USB or C into the wall. There are also motion detectors next to the bed so I could switch off all lights and not worry about walking to the bathroom in the dark because the light comes on when I start moving. Really nice touches here and there!

It’s also at the intersection of 3 roads so it can get quite noisy if you try to take a nap in the middle of the day. This part of Adelaide becomes quiet at night so comes night time, the sleep was amazing!
