I took my girlfriend to El Riande Hotel for her birthday week, and it was an incredible experience that exceeded our expectations. On our way from the airport it took a little over a hour due to rush hour traffic (so, travelers budget your time for that). On our way to the hotel a couple days later, the trip back was only about 25 mins (we checked out of the hotel and headed for the airport around 1040AM). The hotel features a lovely swimming pool and a relaxing jacuzzi (We didn’t use those amenities). They offer breakfast from 7 AM to 10 AM, and while the options are simple and somewhat limited, I appreciated this as it helped me avoid overeating. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Although we didn't dine at the hotel for dinner, we did take advantage of their tour services, and Kathy was particularly amazing. We will certainly be returning to El Riande Hotel.

I stayed here when we needed to spend a few days in Panama City for a visa renewal so we spent quite a bit of time in the room. The room itself was fantastic (we paid a bit extra to upgrade to a suite) and an amazing value for the money. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was bigger than expected. Good breakfast in the morning and decent proximity to restaurants. The downstairs has a fun little vibe with a pool table, bar, and fun decorations. Next time I am in Panama City I would stay here again.

Perfect location as a solo traveller from Jamaica for a few days. Uber was perfect and easy access to areas Hotel close to many food places also. Hotel clean I had executive room so I hardly heard any noise like some complaints I've read. Overall great service

Would be alot easier if there was someone on staff, reception and in kitchen who has a least know some English. The language barrier is the only thing that makes communication difficult. Thank god for Google translate

This is a fantastic hotel for the price. You get everything you need -- pool, breakfast, comfortable room -- and with the excellent El Cangrejo location. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast cannot be beat! Typical Panamanian breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh OJ, and also great coffee.

The keycards are very flimsy and poor quality. We had to go and have our cards "reset" at least once a day. Sometimes, due to security, the front desk will send someone up with you, as well, to "show" you how to use the keycard (despite you already knowing). It's frustrating.

First, the front desk staff here are very attentive and friendly. There was always someone available to help or assist when needed. I observed staff helping other guests with even the smallest of things. The restaurant staff are also very friendly and always helpful, even with my limited Spansih, they helped me order and didn't make me feel like an idiot. Breakfast is good with fresh fruits and buffet style eggs, pancakes and sausage. Everything was clean and nicely maintained. The pool was clean and inviting. Nicely equipped gym area as well as the outdoor restaurant area. The decor throughout the hotel is very chic without being over the top. Great location in the city, easy to go to other parts of the city. Did I say that the staff here are Great! There was a private party during my stay which would continue to 3am, one of the gentleman from the front desk informed me and offered to switch my room to the opposite side of the hotel to be away from the loud party. There were flyers posted in the elevator but I must have missed them. I'm grateful for his help and forethought to at least ask me. I made a huge difference. I also have a service dog with me. Everyone was very nice to my dog and assisted me with him without issue. I highly recommend staying here.

I would have liked to have a mini fridge in my room but that's not a complaint. No room on my floor had one so it's a small item.

I love the location in El Cangrejo. It's very close to two metro train stations (Vía Argentina and Iglesia del Carmen), and so many great restaurants and shops! Also very close to a nice and lively city park. The staff were all extremely friendly and helped me out with scanning some documents that i needed to send. I appreciate that breakfast was served until 10am, as some hotels stop serving earlier. Breakfast was pretty good. Nice to have fresh fruit included. I used the gym, which was very nice and fully equipped. The social area is great with lots of space. Very nice restroom facilities next to the pool. Even though we didn't use the pool or hot tub, I thought that they were well-cared for and beautiful spaces. The room was great, hot water in the shower, and everything worked. Good wifi. Not the best view, but I knew that beforehand. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it.

Would be nice if coffee/tea stayed out longer. This isn't a negative comment about the hotel, but I think that they should have tip envelopes in the rooms so that the hospitality staff are way more likely to earn tips.

The hotel is really well located, in a 5 minutes walk you can go to Via Argentina where there are a lot of restaurants. And just one block away you are close to a metro station and to a big and busy avenue, Via España. The pool is nice and the staff really friendly.

There is no fridge at the rooms and if you stay at the side of pool it's noisy (we stayed four nights and there was a party in two of them).

The room and pool were great. The pool is always my favorite part of this hotel, it's nearly olympic-quality in my opinion. The location is very convenient, I could pick up cat supplies in walking distance.

I wish the pet deposit was clearer. I did not expect it to cost twice as much as it's listed on the site. It also took a while longer to get the money from the deposit back.

This hotel is fine for a short stay. Breakfasts are Ok with good fresh fruit but limited options otherwise. The swimming pool.looked cooling and inviting.

Small repairs in room such as broken shower door handle,no hangers for towels( fallen off wall...). would have made a better impression

Riande is excellently located, within walking distance from everything, shops restaurants, metro station etc. The facilities are well balanced for all lifestyles and activities. I really enjoyed my weak there.

Breakfast variety can be enhanced and quality and quantity.
